    Things I liked:

I liked the crispness of the trigger, I liked the idea of a 10 shot magazine, the quietness of the gun was nice, the adjustable air pressure was also a nice feature.

    Things I would have changed:

The gun seemed a bit too heavy. The stock was too bulky and the recoil butt plate could be replaced with a regular size butt plate. The magazine seemed to be cheap and probably wouldn't last long. The barrel quality needs to be more consistent. Quality control rather than mass production would be better.

    What others should know:

The gun that I received was substandard which was unfortunate. I'm sure not all the guns have the problems that mine did. The magazine didn't work properly as it would not feed the pellets into the barrel. The air pressure behind the pellet was inconsistent with every shot. The rifle barrel at best would only hold a 2 1/2" group at 15 yards. The quality of this gun being what it is it is way over priced. Forget trying to pump this gun up with a Benjamin hand pump as the pump will not pump up to 3000 pounds more than once or twice.

    Things I liked:

The combination of accuracy, low noise, quality, and price. I have had springers for the last few years, they are noisy, jumpy, inconsistent, and all over the place compared to this thing!

    Things I would have changed:

It should come with the single shot tray for the price.

    What others should know:

I got it with the pump thinking it would be good to mix excersize with shooting....... My fiance likes the way it makes my arms look, but the scuba filler and a pony tank would be the way to go for anyone over thirty.

    Things I liked:

Having dealt with springers for the last three years I cannot believe how easy it is to be accurate with this gun. I have gotten pretty good at shooting springers, I especially like the Benjamin NP XL1100 but the marauder is flat out amazing. I am a young guy so don't mind the excersize from using the hand-pump. I am highly impressed with my .22 marauder and will be buying a .25 with next year's tax return.

    Things I would have changed:

The only complaint I have is that the recoil pad smells funny, like tar or something but it should fade with time. Had the same thing with the NP Xl 1100. You don't even need a recoil pad for this thing any way.

    What others should know:

It costs a good chunk of change, but you will never go wrong spending for value not price. Take it from an accountant, this thing is worth every penny! I am sure you will be happy with any of the calibers. If your wives are like mine and they only let you have one gun, the marauder is probably the option that will give you the most satisfaction in the end. Save your pennies and get the one you really want.

My first 22 caliber review got canned I guess sooooo, here goes again.. I LOVE my 25 caliber so much I bought this 22 caliber, I am giving it 5 stars cuz I know what the gun is capable of But no matter what I do and how I adjust this 22 caliber I can not get it to shoot better that a 5 inch group @25 yards totally unacceptable!!!! I have tried OVER 15 DIFFERENT pellets Enjins (both), Baracudas, 4 different JSB pellets, Beeman FTS, extra heavys, 4 of the different RWS pellets, Kodiak, premiers, pollymags, ect ! I just do not know what else to do! My 25 caliber is A# 1, This 22 caliber is horrible so far! I will follow up with more later if things change...

    Things I would have changed:

hmmm, ummmmmmm, MY GUN? I would make accurate if I could...

    What others should know:

I guess I just got lucky enough to get a lemon, these are great guns I will figure it out some how!

    Things I liked:

Accuracy. Amazing. My .22 puts out some nice groups. See below. Trigger. WOW! The trigger is amazing. I've adjusted the trigger so that the second stage is hair action... Really helps me focus more on the target. Quiet! All you hear is the hammer hitting inside. At the range, the range masters were in disbelieve with how quiet it really is! Filling. I use the scuba tank and so happy I did. I can shoot off 2000 rounds before I spend 6 bucks to get it refilled. Autoloader. Nice feature. 10 shots one after the other without even moving the gun. Really nice. Buy at least two more. One went bad as the internal spring kept slipping. Crosman sent me a new one within a week. Packaging. Packaging was very good. Kudos to all who packaged the gun.

    Things I would have changed:

"Made in the U.S.A" - It's not on the new guns, so beware. If you are buying this mainly for that reason, you will be very disappointed. I was at first, but got over it with how awesome it shoots. I made that complaint, and I hope Crosman removes those photos from their site if they haven't already. I think it's a little bait and switch if you ask me. Stock. The stock is nice, but leaves me room to want more. I wish the stain was a little bit darker. Although it's still pretty nice. I spoke to Crosman support. They will not void your warranty on the gun metal if you choose to refinish your stock, so that is a plus. I might do it later. Weight. Gun is a little heavy. You certainly will want to buy a sling for it if you plan on spending the day in the woods with it. Tuning. I would make the velocity adjuster accessible without taking the stock off. Others have drilled a hole through the stock via precise measurement to make it accessible. I might do the same. The instructions on tuning aren't really clear. They should rethink the that part of the instructions. Please though, don't get me wrong. Crosman did a great job on this gun. I love it and can't wait to spend more time with it. It's a keeper that I hope will last for generations!

    What others should know:

I've heard some bad stories about the .22 being 'pellet picky'. I've even heard horror stories where people can't get a decent group on whatever pellet they try. Best of luck to those guys. For me, I purchased a few cans of different pellets and found that the H&N Baracuda 21.14 5.52's are the best pellet for my gun. At 25 yards, I was shooting 1/4 inch groups - pretty much one on top of the other. Amazing. At 50 yards, I was shooting a 1/2 inch group. 100 yards, about 2 inch grouping.. But all of these numbers is from an unmodified gun out of the factory. I'm afraid to mess with the tuning, but may go for it to see if I can get more air out for those 100 yarders. Scuba Tank. I purchased an 80cf scuba tank and the Benjamin yoke adapter. That's it. And boy it works great! Takes about 10 seconds to fill the gun, and you're off again! Advice? Buy the tank at a local scuba shop, but take your yoke adapter for the gun into the shop to make sure it fits the scuba tank valve properly. Buy the tank new so that you get the maximum use out of it as scuba tanks are regulated by the department of transportation. Shops will stop filling them if they are too old. So beware if you plan on saving a 100 bucks by buying a used one off craigslist. Not worth it. Buy new and buy from your local scuba dealer - because they'll take care of you if you need help. They may even fill for free for if you buy from them . Pay no more than $180 for an 80cf tank and valve.

    Things I liked:

Plenty of power and very, very quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

    Decrease weight

    What others should know:

Will penetrate 1/2 inch plywood easily. Goes about 1/2" into 3/4 plywood and puts a bulge on the other side. Pellets used for the above are .22 cal 16 grain Diabolo Field brand.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much...maybe come with a depinger.

    What others should know:

I love this gun! It'll cost a bit to get into PCPs if you're new to the "dark side". But well worth it!! Get a tank for filling...skip the pump.

    Things I liked:

This is a great package, the gun is very fair priced for what you are getting and incredibly impresive in the accuracy. I read comments about guns being accurate out to 40 yds, I have been shooting pidgeon consistantly at 60 yds and one evening I shot 38 without a miss. i have recommended this gun to many people and displayed it's accuracy over and over.

    Things I would have changed:

I drilled and tapped a small hole in the ring around the end of the barrel after talking with your technicians to stabilise the barrel to the forarm and it was easy and I belive makes the barrel jacket more stable.

    What others should know:

My gun seems to be very picky about what pellets make the tightest groups, I purshaced 15 different types and wieghts of pellets and hands down Croossman Preimers shot the Best, I have spent alot of money on pellets so save yer money and shot Crosman's.

    Things I liked:

This is my second review. My first was for the 22 cal. This one is for the 25 cal. Accuracy on the 25 is absolutely amazing !!!!! I thought my 22 cal shot good groups at 50 yards (and it does) but the 25 cal with JSB Exacts puts it in the SAME HOLE EVERY TIME if I do part. This gun really delivers one hole accuracy. The knockdown power with the H&N Barracudas is almost beyond belief. Quiet rifle - very backyard friendly !

    Things I would have changed:

The Stock - I have completely refinished both stocks on the 22 & 25. It is a bit too long and heavy for my liking. 25 cal is a bit louder than the 22.

    What others should know:

I have read so many negative comments about the plastic clips, but have had the 22 for over a year and not had one single issue with the clip. And it will accept the longer Predator pellets on the 22 cal clip if you take a router and trim about 1/32" off of the inner side of the clear top. Works like a charm. Take some stripper and remove the stock coating and you will find some pretty decent grained wood on these stocks. I have shortened the stock on both rifles and took that extra width off of the forearm portion, took off the right comb, and took a lot of wood off the grip and it actually is a lightweight little package now. I love both the 22 and 25. Absolutely the best rifle out there for the price - no exceptions in my opinion. The 25 cal is slightly louder than the 22, but it is still very backyard friendly. BUY IT - YOU'LL LOVE IT !

    Things I liked:

The entire package. I purchased the Benjamin with the suggested scope and case. The quality and accuracy are second to none. I use Siver Bears for distance shots (over 40 yds) and Crow Magnums for every thing else. Grouping is inside a nickel. The power range of the gun is excellent down to 1200 psi. The scope is extremely clear and adjusts accurate to the clicks needed to zero in the gun. The trigger pull is consistant and very smooth. The .25 cal is perfect for my type of shooting and I suggest it to anyone who wants one shot kills for various game.

    Things I would have changed:

The finish on the stock leaves something to be desired. It chips easily and shows it. Maybe just a natural finish? I'm being picky.

    What others should know:

If you want accuracy and a gun that packs a wallop, this gun is for you!!!

    Things I liked:

Gave it all 5 stars because I know what these guns can do BUT I just got my 22 caliber from PA and it is giving me headaches!!! All right all you 22 caliber Marauder owners what (pellet) does the 22 cal. like? I have tried H&N sport hollow points, crosman premiers,Eunjin(s) BOTH pointed and domed,RWS super-h-point,RWS superdomes,JSB diabolo exact (jumbo heavy) kodiak extra heavy, benjamin dome, RWS hobbies just to name a few! Did i just get a lemon in the 22 cal. I can drive tacks with the 25 cal. @ 25,50,75 and hit quarters all day long @100.. I know the clips for the 22 cal. suck as others have said both of mine I had to take apart an fix the spring NEVER have had any problems with the 25 or 177 caliber clips at all..Back to the 22 caliber accuracy, I did modify one of my 22 cal. clips while I had it apart, to use the Predator Pollymags it works fine, and the pollymags seem to be the most accurate but NOTHING acceptable! YES I have even tried adjusting like I did with the other caliber Marauders..The 25 caliber was VERY pellet picky I bought EVERY 25 cal. pellet made it only shoots ONE accuratly > JSB exact kings (1 big dime size hole @ 50 yards clover leafs at 75 &100 UNDER A quarter) sand bagged of course..So what pellet does the 22 caliber love HELP? Guess ill go order a few more different pellets now, and try them before this even posts...I'll be back with an update later i guess...

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing if i can get it to shoot better :)

    What others should know:

Worth every dime if ya get a good one, If ya buy 1 you will want 2 or all 3 calibers :)

    Things I liked:

Outstanding air rifle. Very quiet, no recoil, accurate and very well constructed. Dead on accurate from 15yds-40yds (so far). Far, far better than my Gamo Hunter Sport, but that was a good learning experience to appreciate how good the Marauder is.

    Things I would have changed:

Pretty much nothing, but the pressure gauge did begin to fail after 1 week. Benjamin will happily send replacement gauge. In meantime, the pressure is easily measured on the hand pump.

    What others should know:

Can't imagine a better air gun for small game hunting. Although more expensive than the intro spring air rifles, this is the gun you will end up using later on. Worth the investment!!!!
