    Things I liked:

Its Quiet, Powerful, and Accurate! Mine is .22 caliber and gives around 29-30 ft. lbs. on full power. I've tried many different pellets but it seems to like premiers the best. .5 inch groups at 30 yards are not uncommon. I have it adjusted down to about 24 ft. lbs. and get about 35 shots per fill. The trigger is very comparable to the one on my TX 200.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like different stock options, like walnut or gray laminate. The stock is pretty soft and gets scratched fairly easily.

    What others should know:

This is a great small game hunter. It has taken possom, raccoon, squirrels and a crow. The sound of the pellet hitting the animal is louder than the shot itself.

    Things I liked:

Nice trigger, very good fit and finish and great accuracy. A real deal for the price.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer thumbhole stock and walnut stock options

    What others should know:

it is possible to pump this by hand. I got the Benjamin pump and its a bit of a work out but very doable if you are only shooting 50 75 rounds. BTW I'm 53 yrs. old so should be even easier for the younger set :)

    Things I liked:

The Marauder is very quiet. It is also very accurate with Beeman Kodiaks (21 gr.) and JSB Exacts (18 gr.). At 33 yds the Kodiaks shoot 0.5" groups and JSB Exacts shoot into one hole.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Using the hand pump takes some effort above 2500 psi.

Great gun, very pleased with this 25cal. Very accurate and quiet. Would recommend to all. This is my first PCP and 25cal.

    Things I would have changed:

Do not like this style of safety, as I have large fingers. I do not like the saftey being so close to the trigger

    What others should know:

The gun is a little on the heavy side.

    Things I liked:

The .25 Marauder is very accurate and very powerful. Shoots a single hole 3 shot group out to 30 yds and 1/2" group at 50. It is an MOA or less gun. Mine shoots the Beeman Kodiak, Benjamin, and JSB Diablos equally and incredibly well. It penetrated right through two 3/4" hard pine boards and put a good dent in the next one.

    Things I would have changed:

A little too heavy. Would trim the wood down slightly to lighten. There is no recoil so the weight is unnecessary. It is still lighter than my RWS 52 by more than a lb. A third party stock will fix it. That said it has a very nice looking stock.

    What others should know:

I chronograhed my first shot with the Beeman Kodiak 31.02 gr pellet at 832 fps. That is 48 fpe. Basically a target 22 short on energy to put it in perspective. The hand pump is brutal the first time from 0 psi. Not so bad on recharging after 20 shots. A tank is a good investment for the .25.

Great rifle, it is a companion to my Maruder .22cal. I love Crosman products, good quality control, great value for you dollar, and accurate out of the box.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like a right hand only version or a lighter weight stock.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy. Trigger. Ambidextrous swell. Sound signature. The ability to actually pump it with the Benjamin pump. Price. It is a bargain at its price point. Outstanding Crosman customer service.

    Things I would have changed:

The stock. Seriously, whom is finishing these stocks? I may understand cost cutting in the wood, to make the mechanicals first rate, but the stock is a blemish on an otherwise stellar rifle. My stock is poorly finished, with stain that pooled into depressions in the wood that should have been shaped/sanded properly. The finish is so brittle that it scratches, and actually may pull-off in chunks, leaving bare wood grain not only in the chunks, but on the stock as well. Very disappointing, and I removed a star because of this issue. Just feel the sharp edges of the finish on the forearm of the stock, where Benjamin was carved into the wood. I nearly returned the Marauder, because of this, but didn't, because everything else about the rifle is gold-star.

    What others should know:

Overall, I still gave this rifle a 4 out of 5. It is an incredibly good rifle at its price point. It has a choked barrel. 10 shot magazine (.22), and the heft, machining, and mechanical operation that feels, well, incredibly proficient and refined. A better wood grade and finish on the stock, and this rifle would be 5 star perfect. Charles

    Things I liked:

i wrote a review earlier about this rifle but now that i've had it for a few months it feels appropriate to write another. the accuracy is jaw dropping. pigeons can bite it well beyond 50yds, in .22 they drop fast with a centered body shot. it is extremely quiet in the field( shoot any gun indoors it will seem louder) i haven't taken it toshoot mongooses or iguanas yet but the power is plenty.

    Things I would have changed:

the finish on the stock. needs a more wood look, it has a plastic fake wood look to me. a reg would be nice get slightly more consistant shots( but that would cost much more).

    What others should know:

silence it is but you most understand that in a city it still sounds like a gun( a quiet gun). you shoudn't be shooting birds at will in a city but i was shooting in our parking lot at some targets and the sound was noticeable( although the impact might have been louder then the shot) also my gun was having accuracy problems when first purchase, even with good pellets it only shot good at lower psi, i found that the preload adjustment was all the way out and after a few turns in it is consistantly shooting through one hole at 20yds. pellets that have worked are h&n crow magnum, H&N baracuda, skenco ultra shock, and jsb monsters. will be trying more soon.

i would like an option for a thumbhole laminate stock.

    What others should know:

I am 260 lbs and pumping this up is a work out so be ready for it.

    Things I liked:

The .25 has power & is quite. I no longer have a use for my .22.

    Things I would have changed:

Magazine is holds pellets looser than my .22. Even more power, maybe a regulator, but then the price would go up I suppose.

    What others should know:

Shoots 25 grain's at 900 ft/s (45 ft-lb) with just proper tuning. With 35 grain pellets and a bit of porting, I hit 55 ft-lb. More accurate then my .22 M-rod. The barrel OD is .50" (.22 is only .375"). Compared to my .22, the rifling in deeper and much smoother.

    Things I liked:

I bought this rifle for residential pest control. My father has a problem with nutria (imagine a 15 pound rat) in his neighborhood destroying his yard. I just killed the first one with a .177 caliber pellet. As far as accuracy it is amazing. I am a novice and I can print half dollar size groups at 50 yards (with the occasional stray). Below are is a list of shots I never thought I could make with a pellet rifle. 1. Dime size groups of 5 at 20 yards. 2. Potatoes cut in half at 35 yards. 3. A bottle at 50 yards. 4. A cinder block at 110 yards (lots of compensating for drop)

    Things I would have changed:

I am already going to have to replace the 200 dollar pump...that sucks. It's very heavy. I opted for the big pre-packaged deal which came with a bi-pod...this is a must have. It would be nice to see benjamin offer some different stock selections. Maybe as an aftermarket accessory.

    What others should know:

Opt for the big pre-packaged deal...it is worth it, and order at least two extra boxes of pellets. I was amazed at how fast I shot through my first 1250 pellets.

    Things I liked:

This is an update on my review of my .22 Marauder one year ago. It started out great and after several thousand pellets it just gets better. I have tested many different pellets for group at 25 and 50 yds and most accurate for me is Crosman Premier Heavies (in the box). Many fine groups, competitive in Field Target. I've settled my tune to where I get 29 shots at 900 - 920 fps with the CPH and a 2700 psi fill. This may seem a little fast to some of you, but accuracy has been outstanding. The supurb trigger makes a big difference for me. I took this rifle on a ground squirrel hunt last spring and got a lot of head shots, the Marauder is so quiet the squirrels don't know you're there. I use a pump with no problems, magazines still work fine after thousands of pellets, they are very convenient in the field. I also bought the single shot adaptor and recommend it highly, it allows the option to convert the Maruder to a first class single shot when desired, and easily handles long pellets like JSB Predators.

    Things I would have changed:

Not a thing. I did epoxy the sling swivels after they started turning loose in the field, no big deal.

    What others should know:

    You will love this rifle.

    Things I liked:

I have used this gun since last December. This is about quality, ease of use, 10-shot clips, accuracy, loads of air--endurance and POWER. The trigger is just right and the gun is as quiet as you can imagine a gun being. I use it in a suburban area in my backyard controlling a raccoon infestation (7 retired so far, five in the last six weeks). I still trap and relocate when I can (6) but when I catch the little critters in the open, they have very little chance of escape.

    Things I would have changed:

Aside from glitches in getting the scope set-up properly with PyramydAir (mounts) and the tank yoke to work on the PA supplied tank (it needed to be machined by me, i.e. carefully filed to fit the scuba tank), this has been an excellent purchase.

    What others should know:

The gun is heavy but well balanced. There is something to be said for the weight in supporting a steady shot. Most of the time, I am within 50 ft from the target. The clips are easy to load you just need to figure out the technique. It is very, very cool having all that air, and ammo to move freely when you need to.

    Things I liked:

--Fell back into airgunning in the last couple years, struggled with finding an air rifle i could count on in a pinch; Struggling over scope movement, desires for better accuracy, and REAL quality on a family man's budget, I have finally aquired the air rifle I've been looking for. I've owned many along the way looking for this rifle, and NONE came close; NP TRAIL XL 1100 .25, BEEMAN KODIAK .25, RUGER AIR HAWK, HUNTER SPORT and others to name a few.. All served a purpose, but they served in a much lesser league!

    Things I would have changed:

No complaints- Quality, accuracy, workmanship, trigger and power are exellent,,, Also, I use the hand pump and love it! it works well and IS NOT the pain many said it would be- Rifle and pump have worked flawlessly, claims of one hole and tight 50 yard shot groups are all true! Mine shoots many pellets well with Ben Domes and Kodies grouping the best so far at under 3.5 inches average @ 80 yards on windy day (some days better some days worse)

    What others should know:

While adjusting rifle's velocity screw, it stripped out in the fully closed position rendering the rifle useless!! NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE! I had two choices, send the rifle back for repair or break into it myself. I opted to deal with it myself, and reluctantly began breaking my rifle down, not knowing what i was in for. What I found was a pleasant surprise!! First, the rifle's design was very basic and well executed, and every part was solid, well polished and made of materials that seemed to be of the highest grade! Since then I've broke it down many times for various reasons> its very easy to work on and can be broke down and put back in minutes with basic tools. FYI; E-MAILED CROSMAN ABOUT MY PROBLEM (WONDERING IF I COULD BUY A NEW VALVE BODY)AND THE REPLACEMENT PART SHOWED UP AT MY DOOR, FREE OF CHARGE -NO QUESTIONS ASKED! THEY EVEN PAID SHIPPING,, even though I didn't buy directly from them. So I'd say that CROSMAN"S claim to stand by their products is true. I'd also say that the MARAUDER .25 is the finest rifle they have ever put out and is everything the forums and videos on you tube claim and more...P.s.- Pyramid Air has always done good by me as well.. Thanks, Roy-

    Things I liked:

Accurate, good value for the money. Well thought out. Fun to shoot on a bench with a high power scope.

    Things I would have changed:

It's borderline too big for lugging up a mountain for Ptamagain hunting though I've done it a couple of times. It's too heavy for most women and children to shoot and even gets tiring for me after 50 shots. I might replace the stock with a smaller thinner one or rework this one. The barrel seems kind of fragile because it's a floating barrel but so far no problems. The bluing is typical air gun quality not firearm quality. It's very pellet picky. Stock is not Walnut but looks ok.

    What others should know:

With the proper settings you can easily get 80 shots on one 3000psi fill and enough power for hunting. It takes a long time to find the perfect combo of settings and pellets but that's what makes it so fun. My gun shoots Crosman Premiers in cardboard box the best followed by Kodiaks. Stock is Beech I think. Would look better without the stain in my opinion.

Recently purchased 2 marauders 22cal &25cal. I have owned many air guns over the last 50 yrs including Air Arms , Theoben, Webley ,Thor, RWS, Beeman ,Career & ARS. I can honestly say these Marauders are the equal in accuracy & power to any of them. The overall finish may not quite match up to the best Euros but they are as good or better in the important things Accuracy & power. And at about half the price of the European guns. I am very satisfied & happy with these guns. Brian.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe the choice of a nice walnut stock.

Crosman support is the best, I bought a .22cal last year. It started to leak about a month ago, i contacted Crosman, was told to send it to them and they'd fix it. Did one better I dropped it off at their front counter in Bloomfield Ny, asked if the could fix it and maybe tune it. End result , my rifle arrived at my door less than a week later fully tuned for max velocity, new baffles, new manometer .... I mean really where do you get customer support like that?

    Things I would have changed:

    Things I liked:

Stunning accuracy. From a rest, my first 4 shots went right into a postage stamp sized sticker on my target. Not only was I getting hole on hole accuracy, but the .25 pellets pentrated trhough a 1" pine stair riser I was using as my backstop. Wow! I had to put the rifle down to absorb that. Talk about POWER. The trigger is nice, the stock smooth. The Pyramyd boys did a great job mounting and sighting my scope. Nice touch-installing the batteries for my scope. My first ever repeater and I can still remember how it felt sliding the bolt homw for the first time. Made in the USA and also my quietest air rifle (yes quieter than my Nitro Piston.

    Things I would have changed:

I am using the Benjamin hand pump and it is not a piece of cake. It is not too bad once you use your body weight to help on the down stroke (Tip from Stacey @ Pyramyd. It only take a few minutes ot pump to 3,000 psi

    What others should know:

This is my first PCP and I am blown away. I don't want to shoot any of my spring rifles now. LOL This rifle really raises the bar for the whole shooting experience. I hesitated for a while due to price and the need for a seperate pump. Boy was it ever worth it. I bought my setup as a prepackaged deal and I am very pleased. Buy extra magazines so you can have one ready to go at all times. It drops roughly 100 PSi per shot but still plenty of power for at least 20 good shots.

    Things I liked:

Love it ! A tack driver out of the box. I bought the .177 cal model. I only have a 20 yard range so I haven't given it a real test but with Crosman premier 7.9 gr. pellets I was putting shot after shot in the same hole. I can't wait to try it at 50 & 100 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

For me the pull is a little short and the cheek rest too low to use with the Leapers high rings. I may have to invest in an adjustable stock. Minor point - the sling swivel stud was set in a little too far for my bipod.

    What others should know:

This gun is pellet picky. I tried some Benjamin Discovery 10.5 gr pellets and they opened up the groups.
