Quiet, good accuracy,powerful. The swivel studs are a nice addition for using sling or tripod.

I have had experience with several Marauders and the bolt was a little stiff on everyone.You have to be sure to fully retract the bolt or it will not be cocked.You are liable to chamber a 2nd pellet if you don't temporarly remove the clip when you recock.I've had to use my thumb for leverage often to fully cock the rifle.

I had a .17 Marauder and it was very accurate.The first .25 Marauder was terribly inaccurate with fliers every few shots that were far off the target.I tried different pellets,examined the baffles,cleaned the barrel,etc to no avail. Pyramid promptly sent a replacement and it shoots great.

First and foremost the accuracy. Then and not necessarily in this order are the look, feel, trigger, bolt action, the list goes on and on. Now, we get into the fit and finish, simply excellent! The number and types of adjustments that can be done are above and beyond expected. The overall design is very good.

What I really would change is to beef up the 10 shot clip. I've not used it all that much and it already shows signs of wear. It's a little on the heavy side, but I guess that's what happens when quality parts are used. ;)

Don't buy the plastic case that comes in the package deals. My stock was nicked in 3 spots by shifting around in the case during shipping. I'd like to thank pyramydair, they both took care of me every step of the way!!!

Hands down the best bang for your buck.

Maybe a way to fill it that doesnt take a full body workout or 1k in air tanks, but that is all pcp's.

I bought mine in .22. Do not believe the hype that .22 is somehow less accurate than the other calibers. Mine does dime sized groups no problem. I think people getting bad accuracy in .22 are pushing 1000fps with crosman premiers. These pellets are designed to fly at 800fps or less,I shoot premiers in dime size groups through this gun and have it tuned for 820fpsIf I crank it up to 1000fps I go to JSB exacts in the 18.1 grain range.

I bought the Marauder over a month ago and have shot several hundreds of round just to get comfortable with the rifle. Some people think I am a bit extreme when it comes to accuracy but I like to know where my shot is going. I am very confident when I pull the trigger on this gun. I have shot several rodents recently and I will say they never knew it was coming. They like to get the bird seed that the birds drop and even with the rodents feeding among the birds, I have no hesitation to shoot them. The birds don’t even fly when I shoot. This gun is quite. My neighbors never stop and look when I shoot because they don’t hear the shot or it just doesn’t draw their attention. Like this gun more and more every time I shoot it.

Of course everyone would like to see it sold at a lower price but it is a killer and fun to shoot so I'm satisfied.

By several pellets because you will be shooting this gun a lot. Also, get a scuba tank for filling. I got a new one locally for a hundred fifty dollars and afterwards could have bought a used one for twenty dollars. I just had to have it tested.

the accuracy is fantastic, good knock down power in 0.177 cal, tagged and bagged 4 tree rats in 1 hour from my veggie garden 1st mornings hunt.

Tack driving accuracy, quiet, able to use regular rifle scope, nice trigger, nice 8 shot Mag. Groups at 25 yards off a rest are 0.20" CTC on a fresh fill. 0.30 ish on the third clip. Pest elimination just got a lot easier.

nothing. The plastic cap fell off the stock. That's the only problem in a year and about 1500 shots. No complaints at all from me. I waited until I had the gun and ran it through it's paces to send a review. Maybe a Walnut stock option would be nice on such a nice gun but for the money, don't change a thing.

Once you shoot this you will never go back to a springer or pump. Factory settings on a 0.25 I can use 3 clips between fills. Accuracy varies depending on power setting. At factory mine loves the round nose and doesn't shoot any HP very well. Just play with pellets and power till you have what you want. Get a tank. Fills are cheap and worth it. The gun is too much fun to use a foot pump. I hate to give all 5 stars but when they built this one they built it right.

The tunning velocity place on exterior will be much much more fantastic. No need to take off the stock.

The holding clamp between the air reservoir and barrel, there's a space which the outter barrel was little bit dropped down. But I fix it with its including muzzle cap. Just cut it in sizes and insert it all the way to the space. Piece of cake.

High quality all around, have owned my Marauder for a year now and shoot it almost every day, no complaints from the neighbors or the wife! Extremely accurate, I have hit a fly at 30 yards!...(I can’t hit the broad side of a barn with other guns.)

The stock, its just too heavy with a scope added to the weight.

Don’t look at the price, just buy it! Have had mine for a year now and no regrets. Do buy a good scope because the gun is so accurate, you won’t believe it! (I have a Leapers 6X24, slight overkill but I like it.) Do buy extra magazines, Do by a bipod stand, Don’t buy the pump. Do buy a scuba tank (~$200shop around.) and adapter for quick fill ups, (Scuba tank refills cost me only $5 bucks! for about 500 shots above 2000lbs of pressure.) My friends told me "your nuts" for spending so much on a pellot gun, ...I look at it this way...1. It’s a long term investment ( my first and last gun.) 2. No license or registration needed, Iegally I can bring it anywhere I want. 3. Maximum shooting & accuracy for low cost, no noise hassles, has about the power of a real 22cal., I feel protected by having it.

Solid shooting platform (22 cal.) The rifle might be considered heavy, however I believe this add's to the overall accuracy. I mounted a Leapers 6-24x50mm scope on the rifle. This is a great match up for the Marauder. I have not changed the factory setting and using 2600psi for the charge pressure, I have been getting 40 accurate shots before I see a slight elevation drop, however the windage stays right on. At 35 to 40 shots, the gun pressure drops to around 1600 to 1800 psi, but it will still deliver an accurate shot with a little scope elevation change(1 mil dot up @ 40 yards).

My Marauder likes "Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum" 14.3 grain pellets. No bragging here, just facts, the Marauder is shooting dime size groups at 40 yards. "Air Arms Diabolo Field Plus" (same weight) needs 1 mil dot up @ 40 yards.

this rifle is very high quality construction. i love the two stage trigger. it needed no adjustment right out of the box. the scope took only a couple of adjustments to consistantly put 10 shots in the bullseye at 20 meters.great combo package.

the only thing i would add to the package is a rifle sling as the rifle is a little heavey for packing in the field all day.

buy the combo package. you get almost everything you need to shoot targets or for hunting.

Wow! What can I say except awesome. You can go out and order an European air rifle that costs way more and yes the product will reflect the cost but for overall value and performance believe me you can not go wrong buying the Marauder. I bought the 25 cal. and a few extra mags. Mounted a scope and zeroed at 25 yards. This rifle is amazing. You hear about cleaning the barrel before shooting but that's just common sense. This rifle put the Benjamin pellets 5 shot group after zeroing in a group the size of a dime and that was with factory settings. I look forward to tuning it up.

I hope in the near future that Crosman will provide a factory de-pinger because the loudest thing about this rifle is the hammer strike. You can do a search about how to deaden this but I do not want to void the factory warranty.

If you have not stepped up to a 25 cal. yet you should do so. Sumatra by Eun Jin may be a nice rifle but the Marauder is all you can hope for at such a great price and backed by company that is American.

I bought the 25 cal after calling crosman and finding out it had a green mt barrel confirmed by crosman rep. My dad bought the 22 what a piece of junk 5" groups at 25yds. The 25 may be an air hog but this thing is amazingly accurate one hole groups at 50yds with jsb kings. The trigger is awesome a few adjustments and its less then a pound and no creep.

Stock finish is poor i will be refinishing. Air resevoir has machining marks all over it and so does my dads 22 version.

Change your hammer spring the stock one just doesnt hold up for a 3000psi fill and weakens quickly. Crosman is still having problems with there 22s and knows it. Take advantage of the green mt barrel on the 25 its not pellet picky at all. More people need to call crosman and complain about the 22s i know some people have gotten good ones but for 469 it shouldnt be a gambel.

The gun is so QUITE & POWERFULL. i love the bolt action that makes it super quick to reload.

12 shot clip for the .25 caliber marauder because thats about how many shots you will get at full power.

Get the .25 caliber and man up. This will suit all your needs. I was sighting in the scope (leapers 3x9-50; perfect match for this gun) and the shots were going right through a 1-1/2 inch board of wood. I use the Beeman Kodiak Match 31.02 grains; round nose; which are hands down the best pellet for this gun. I average about 800 fps with them which is 44fpe. they shot about a 1/8 of an inch group at thirty yards. There also awsome for hunting which is what i use them for. the round nose penetrates and flies great for long distances. Also if your gunna get this gun you have to get the utg 3-in-1 bipod for it. That bipod makes it so much more accurate. SO WHAT EVER YOU DO GET THE .25 CAL!

I am new to the PCP world coming from the Benjamin silver streak...... What a treat! I have read most of the other reviews and concur! So Accurate, Very low report, is a little heavy, but so worth the extra weight! I introduced this gun to my best girl within a few magazines she was shooting dime size groups at 25 yards! Buy the combo package best value for your dollar.........I tried the manual hand pump that lasted one shooting session..... Get the scuba tank and make sure to get the Airforce pump adaptor for your tank.......promise you will be happy........ Most defiantly BUY THIS GUN ! You can't go wrong with Pyramid any problems, questions or returns NO PROBLEM they will get it right!

If possible make it a little lighter..........

Tack Driver. If you shoot CO2 the gun will shoot different then with high pressure. Be prepared to shoot a lot the gun is that fun.

I really like how quiet this rifle is. I am pretty amazed. I have been shooting it in my back yard at cans with a steel back plate and the pellet hitting the back plate was definately louder than the rifle going off. I am now shooting at a phone book and that is really quiet.

Nothing. This is a pretty sweet set up.

Out of the box accuracy was one ragged hole at 15 yds and less than 1/3" groups at 35 yds with Crossman Premier 14.3 g round nose pellets. Roughly hte same with Predator Polymags in 16 g.

Clean the barrel before shipping.

You must clean the barrell before shooting! It comes with the machining residue still in the barrell.

Quieter than I ever expected.

Quality seems excellent. Quietness and accuracy are amazing. Wish it weighed less.

Very high fun factor, super quiet, easy handling, great trigger, very handsome rifle for the $, feels quality, repeater too cool, inexpensive clips, great scope mount, lots of shots before requiring fill 30-40 on stock setting, most accurate air gun I've ever shot. Did I say it's fun. Great manufacture support with good forums to get guidance and help. Very adjustable.

She's a bit heavy. Some have said pellet picky but I've not had that experience. Don't skimp on a good scope. This gun deserves a nice one. Pyramyd's package Leapers is nice IMHO but here are others. Don't be shy about stepping up.

Figure out how you want to fill. I've chose the hand pump for simplicity, cost and convenience. Pumps will require some maintenance but don't let it scare you off. Gun and pump have wonderful manufacture support. Be prepared to have a crowd of people at the range asking questions and looking for a chance to try it. Once you shoot a Marauder the smile on your face will say, "I'm having more fun for my dollar than anyone else." Have owned the gun since 11/09.
