    Things I liked:

The shot count right out of the box is great, about 450-500 psi per 10 shots. Hits hard! Very Accurate,

    Things I would have changed:

The barrel band needs to have a tighter fit so the shroud doesn't move as much. I understand the barrel is free floating but the tolerance could be closer. Other than that, nothing. I'm completely happy with it.

    What others should know:

Plan on purchasing a tank in the future when buying this gun. The pump works but takes a ton of time and energy to fill, and is very bulky to carry in the field.

    Things I liked:

EVERYTHING! Just fired 60 rounds from one charge, had two fliers(probably my own fault), with the other 58 placed in a black dot the size of a dime at 25 yards. There's a lot of chatter out there about adjustments and modifications. I read about some of the upgrades applied to the synthetic stock Marauder. My gun came from the factory with the perfect tune using the inexpensive .22 cal. Crossman Premier 14 grain pellets. I'll admit it's even more accurate with the 21 grain H&N Barracudas(not as if their expensive) but it tends to get boring hitting the bulls eye every time. Thank you Benjamin for the quality rifle & Pyramid Air for steering me in the right direction.

    Things I would have changed:

NOTHING, but it would be nice to have a custom wood stock with some curves made available as an option. The rifle deserves it.

    What others should know:

Initially purchased a gas piston break barrel hoping to upgrade from my spring piston rifle with some noticeable improvement. I wasn't all that satisfied and called customer service. They took it back with no hassle(bad scope). Two days later my Benjamin PCP .22 cal. Marauder arrived. There is no comparison. It's a whole different animal. It takes all the work out of obtaining excellent accuracy provided a descent scope.

    Things I liked:

Easy to fill from a Scuba tank. Once I had it sighted in, I put five rounds on the X that you could cover with a dime at 10 yards. I liked the indexing magazine.

    Things I would have changed:

    The rifle is heavy.

    What others should know:

Loading and mounting the 10-shot magazine took a few tries to become proficient. I used a BSA 30mm Red Dot Sight, which I was told would not fit on the Marauder by one of the Pyramyd experts.

    Things I liked:

My1st pcp & I love it, quiet & accurate. So far no tuning necessary. I chose .177 because most cities consider anything above that a firearm. Based on customer reviews I took advantage of the 20 for 20 service, if you're not gonna let Pyramyd scope you're gun use the 10 for 10 service. My gun arrived spot on & with all my 20 for 20 documentation. Pyramyd really is the air gun authority, their many good reviews & customer sevice prove it, which is why I chose them

    Things I would have changed:

Better tuning instructions from the mfg in owners manual. Pyramyd description does not list degassing tool with this gun so I bought one and then one came with it.

    What others should know:

You'll spend close to $1000 to get up & running if this is your 1st pcp.The gun, pump, clips, scope, 20 for 20 & 5 yr warranty/ service. I was very reluctant to spend so much on a pellet gun, I've got $900 in my best Deer rifle! but with the 1st shot, all that apprehension melted away.I fill to 2900 & refill @ 1000 on gun gauge. I can get a least 50 shots good enough to kill small game @ 30 yds & under with Crosman premium heavy 10.5 gr.pellets. Order as many xtra clips as u can afford also get the silicone grease and mole' grease that's recommended for this gun

"My" bolt action is a bit gritty.. not bad but noticable. Others may be smoother.

    What others should know:

This gun is very accurate out if box. I have a crony and this gun is easy to fine tune. For the money this gun is a steal and im so happy with it. Out of box averaged 3inch groups.at 100yards. Stock tune had an ave 889 fps an es of 58 then i tuned it down just a bit to 853fps an es of 20! And a sd of only 4.2. Hitting 2.2 inches average at 100yards now. Best group 1.4 inch at 100yard with 3 of 5 goin through same hole. Mine hates bent skirts. A group of 7 bent skirt at 100 yards was just under 4 inches on new tune. Enough said no bent skirts for me. Loves jsb 25.4g pellets. Never cleaned barrel. Roughly 1700 pellets through it without any issues. This is a 100 yard gun if you are a decent shot.

This is just a great rifle. I optedthe .22cal. I'm basically a lousy shot, but with this gun, a scope and a bipod I'm Jesse James. 30 yds. and I'm cosistntly in the 10 ring. I have no idea where a less than 4 star rating could come from, nevermind a 1 star.

    Things I would have changed:

The cocking system !! I am getting too many 2 pellet loads.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy. Adjustable comb. .25 cal. hard hitting power.

    Things I would have changed:

The finish. It is flecking off the receiver leaving shiny bare metal beneath. The entire finish of this gen. 2 rifle is nowhere near as good my older .22 cal. wood stock Marauder; not even close. I'm disappointed in that, as I was expecting fit and finish on par with the earlier rifles. Outsourcing to cheapen the cost of the rifle has compromised its exterior. The fill nipple is different than previous Marauders, and would not fit my Joe Brancato fill fitting, so I had to change it to the same as my other 3 Benjamin PCPs. Another outsourced part, whose dark blue finish is ruined the first time it is connected to a fill source. My Benjamin pump fill fitting fit it, but I'm not hand pumping anything other than my Discovery with it. A little forethought, not hindsight should have been in Crosman/Benjamin engineers' blueprints with this el cheapo fill fitting. Disappointing.

    What others should know:

The rifle is going to get banged-up in its hunting role anyway, so maybe I'm just being picky. Pellets are a bit more expensive than the .22 cal. version. So all day plinking with the .25 cal. will be a bit more expensive. It's a hunting rifle, and at its core, a good one.

    Things I liked:

Easy to shoot (no special holds needed to be accurate). Very accurate. Very consistent. Adjustable cheek comb. Good build quality. Very quiet. Decent, predictable trigger. 8 round magazine.

    Things I would have changed:

Cocking it. Others have noted a grittiness in the bolt. I basically pull it back, then it slides forward a bit, then I pull it back again, listening for a *click* This is a minor annoyance for a gun that rewards you with such accuracy and power.

    What others should know:

This is my first airgun, but I have a decent amount of experience with firearms in general. I have owned it for a year. Unfortunately, I only have maybe 2-300 rounds through it. Seems to be getting more accurate. There is a reason this gun is a consistent best seller. It's powerful. It's accurate. At 50 yds I can easily keep 7 of 8 shots inside a 3/4" circle. Most of the "fliers" I can tell are from my own inaccuracy - jerking the trigger, general unsteadiness, whatever. Buy a good scope (obviously no iron sights on this). I have UTG Swat 3-12 x30 AO. I use the Benjamin air pump. No problems so far. It's an effort. I'm 165 lbs and I basically have to come down on it with my body weight. It's worth it to me to have a self-contained system (i.e. not relying on a shop to fill an air tank). I can get 16 good shots (probably a few more) at 50 yards on one fill. That takes me from 3,000 psi to 2,000. It's maybe 5 mins of pumping to fill that back up. Totally worth it to me.

    Things I liked:

Great value for the money. This .22 caliber rifle is very accurate, has an excellent trigger and since there is no recoil to speak of it is very easy to shoot. Another nice feature; the shrouded barrel makes this rifle very, very quiet - Elmer Fudd would love it. I purchased this rifle to thin crows out of a pistachio ranch and the low sound level helps me get more before they figure out what's going on. I've been able to make several head shots at a bit over 30 yards, using the Crosman Destroyer 14.3 grain pellets, firing from an improvised rest. Over the years, I have used several springer model pellet rifles for the same purpose but this is a much better option for two reasons; The rifle is much easier on scopes, thus more accurate and it makes so very little noise. The Marauder also comes equipped with sling swivel studs already mounted in the stock which makes it much easier to carry afield.

    Things I would have changed:

A larger air reservoir would be nice and I believe it should come with a single shot tray. Other than that, they got this right.

    What others should know:

If you have never owned a PCP air rifle this is a good place to start. Ditto if you are looking for an air rifle capable of hunting small game or dealing with pests. Mine is accurate right out of the box and does not appear to be in need of any additional tuning.Mine seems to work best by not letting the PSI drop much below 2000 before refilling

    Things I liked:

Wow! This a big step up from break barrels. The accuracy is outstanding, even at 50 yards. I was getting frustrated with other airguns because they were not consistent at all (NP2 in the .177 and .22 cal) (+ a few others) and I couldn't hunt with them because I never knew where my pellet would land. This gun changes all that. It goes where I aim it. I don't mind hand pumping it either. 85-90 pumps fills it up and I'm back in business in a few minutes. It's a bit of a work out, but It's seriously worth it to have this kind of power and accuracy. I fill to 3000 psi and get about 10 shots before the FPS starts dropping off. Here are my #'s bone stock with 16 shots from 3000 psi, shooting the JSB match Diabolo Exact King's. 887,887,884,878,859,855,869,861, 2nd mag 861, 854, 847.5, 840.5, 832, 826, 817, 809 I feel absolutely confident in taking this hunting, because I don't have to guess where my round goes.

    Things I would have changed:

A bigger air tank for more shots per fill, and some Iron sites. If I need a couple extra shots while out squirrel hunting in the event I miss, or make a body shot and need a follow up, I don't want to stress about my PSI level or carry the big and heavy hand pump with me. I also don't want to cut my hunt short due to being low on air. I have no interest in purchasing an air tank. I love the gun and those are the only areas feel could be improved.

    What others should know:

If you are thinking about getting it, get the .25 cal. It's amazing, its hard hitting, and it's quiet. It's a very sleek looking rifle out of the box, and even better when a nice big scope is added.

    Things I liked:

Incredible accuracy. With factory settings I've been shooting less than one inch groups at forty yards with JSB pellets. Loving the magazine as it has operated flawlessly to this point. This is my first PCP and I'm very happy after all of my research deciding to go with the marauder. Squirrels better hide because this thing packs a punch in .25 caliber. More than thrilled! If you're thinking about a marauder I say go for it! This was a gift from my parents so I did a couple months of research to ensure I didn't waste their money and I'm glad I did. Couldn't ask for a better rifle in this price range.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I could think of changing is a larger air reservoir for more dead on shots while away from the pump or even make the air cylinder changeable like a couple other manufacturers but that would surely increase the price.

    What others should know:

Don't hesitate to give this gun a go. I know the reviews for .177 and .22 are less than stellar but my .25 is amazing. Hats off to Benjamin/Crosman for a great product.

I'm overwhelmed with the Marauder and glad I got the lighter synthetic stock. Once set up with my leapers 4x16x44 scope, critters don't have a chance with in 35 yards. I have not had the chance yet to shoot farther because of the neighbors. I will get that chance soon.

Things I like: Lighter weight. Power. Adjustable cheek rest. Accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

This is one big problem I had with my .25 synrod: This foster style fill nipple is shorter than on previous PCP rifles and pistol, is black, and the color comes-off immediately. It does not fit Joe Brancato's fill gear. It only fits the Benjamin pump. I have 3 other PCPs (.22 Marauder, .22 Discovery, .22 pistol) that have the previous, compatible nipple fittings, and they work perfectly with Joe's hardware. I don't know if Crosman/Benjamin made this nipple standard on all new synrods. If so, buyer beware and ask about the new nipple if you purchase this rifle. I sourced the compatible nipple, and used the check valve that came with the incorrect nipple, and it is working great now. I was going to send it back for another brand PCP, but the prices were higher for a slightly more powerful .25 PCP that caught my eye. Benjamin/Crosman had this rifle at the right price point. I'm not posting this to bash Crosman or Pyramid Air. I'm posting as a favor to those who want to purchase

    What others should know:

Excellent hunting rifle. Just realize the .25 will use more air than the .22, to achieve its power. Only other comment; this rifle is accurate with H&N Barracuda Hunter Extremes, and JSB Diabolo Exact pellets. Much more accurate than my Benjamin Marauder .22 cal. PCP.

Synthetic stock with adjustable comb is great. For me, the rifle is very accurate at 50 yds.

    Things I would have changed:

Benjamin cheaped out with not including a degassing tool with my new .25. I think it should be included. You need one if you plan on doing any maintenance to your rifle.Always, always, always degass the gun before doing any kind of maintenance that involves disassembly. Safety is paramount.

    What others should know:

This is a step up from my .22 gen 1 marauder. IMO a much better rifle for varmints. If you are on the fence, get the .25 over the .22

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I have only had this rifle about a month and put 200 pellets thru it..Most accurate for me are the H&N Baracuda Match, 21.14 gr, Domed, 5.53 mm. I still have a number of pellets to test and am sure it will be just as accurate with some of them..It doesn't appear to be hold sensitive thus far.. I have not the words to say just how peased I am with this purchase. Again I would put it up against any PCP air rifle at any cost.
