    Things I liked:

I bought this rifle in both .22 and .25 and extremely pleased with accuracy, balance, and sound. Adjustable comb is a desirable feature. Trigger is smooth and crisp. Out of the box accuracy is outstanding.

    Things I would have changed:

    Take the rails to Picatinny.

    What others should know:

The .25 may be slightly more accurate than the .22. Probably due to barrel manufacturer. However, consistent sub 3/4" patterns at 50 yards will work quite well with each one. The .25 is a little tighter. I somehow maxed my elevation on the .25 using UTG 6-26x56 with high rings. I have the same scope on .22 in 4-16x56 without incident. Great rifle. Can't go wrong with it.

    Things I liked:

Everything I shot JSB 25.39 doom pellets through the rifle ,the first one and it shot a 1/4 " group at 25 yards .My buddy that was helping me set it up, shot the same group at 25 yards .He looked at me and said we don't have to look at any more pellets do we.He owns a couple of $2000.00 rifles ,and he said he would give me my money back for it, right then.I said not for sell. Then he told me don't send this rifle back for any reason 'because I might not get the same barrel back. This is a 25 caliber green mountian barrel .You have 30 days,to send it back to Pyramyd Air ,And I have looked for anything wrong ,There is nothing wrong with this rifle. I knew it would be a good gun by all what I have read on the reviews ,But I had no idea. I built a 270 caliber rifle a couple of years ago .that will shoot 1/4" groups at 100 yards and 4.5" groups at 600 yards. This rifle is equivalent to it!

    Things I would have changed:

I would make the spring in the clip ,have more tension. I went on You Tube and seen how to adjust the spring,(Bend it) and make it have more tension ,before I ever shot the rifle ,I had read that it was the only weak point. And apparntly that is true .

    What others should know:

I bought the 25 caliber ,so I can only speak for it My friend is shooting a 25 cal ,with the same speed as this one ,different brand ,but the same speed ,(not as acuature as this one),He is shooting birds at 125 yards ,and shooting through squirrels one end to the other at 90 yards ,The 25 cal is a little slower than the 22 caliber but it has the horse power when it get there.

    Things I liked:

The gun itself just "looks cool." Not much else to say about that. It is a beefy, no nonsense tool which I think it much more high tech than most of the garbage .22 rimfire rifles on the market today. This thing is accurate and fun to shoot. So quiet that I can take out squirrels in my neighborhood and nobody has any idea. This thing took out a pesky tree rat this AM for me at 29 yards, no issues. Exactly what I bought it for. It's expensive extermination but when you figure that the local pest control guy charges $99 for EACH tree rat (yes, each) that he traps and removes from your premesis, then it's money well spent! I also like being able to mount any scope I want on the airgun without having to worry about all that "reverse kick" damaging the scope.

    Things I would have changed:

I have the .177 and I've tried 7 different pellets so far. 2 of them are Half Dollar sized accurate, 2 of them are quarter sized accurate, 1 is dime sized accurate (JSB Diabolo Monster) and 2 of them are unacceptable...all at 25 yards. I have not found that "hole in hole" pellet/pressure/power level yet. Some more tweaking will hopefully find it. The gun loves the 2000-2400 psi level for accuracy. More than that and it throws a lot of fliers. I am not a fan of the free floating barrel because it seems like it would not be very robust and would cause accuracy to suffer. I store it barrel against the wall, nonetheless. BTW, the gun's pressure guage is 300 psi off according to my pump's guage.

    What others should know:

I had a big dilemma with this airgun. I needed it for pest elimination in my yard. I really wanted the .22 for that reason but I read so many reviews of poor accuracy that I just didn't want to take the chance. Then my dilemma was should I get the .177 or the .25? The .25 is overkill in my yard and I would get many fewer shots per fill but it seemed like it had the best accuracy. The .177, from what I read, was underpowered for squirrels. I am here to say that is not the case! Do not hesitate to buy this thing to use for squirrels! My .177 is very accurate and it cleans their clocks. With a precisely placed pellet (I love the 13gr Diabolo Monsters) it hits just as hard as a .22 of the same grain weight/velocity and the .177 pellet has better penetration due to the smaller diameter. I've taken squirrels out to 34 yards easy with no issues. So, don't hesitate to buy the .177 for squirrels. Racoons, opossums, foxes, etc is a different story. The .25 is the medicine for them.

    Things I liked:

This is a powerful gun with tremendous accuracy right out of the box. Mine is a .25 and likes JSB Kings. The trigger is also great with two clear stages and low pull weight. Clean the barrel when it starts to throw fliers. I got a firearms boresnake intended for a .243, removed the brass bristle inserts, and shortened the brass weight at the end of the string to fit the breach. It now slides down the barrel from breach to muzzle for easy cleaning.

    Things I would have changed:

The bolt is sticky to pull, sometimes making it unclear whether you've initiated the second "click" before closing the bolt again. I have run the risk of loading two pellets a few times as a result. There's a lot of great about this gun, but the bolt is a weakness. If you pull the trigger and get nothing, remove the magazine and do a pellet count. Or just close the bolt again with the magazine removed and fire a shot. That should clear the pellet in the breach.

    What others should know:

I'm on my second Marauder Mk2. The first from PA began to leak, losing 1000 psi overnight. PA was awesome on replacing it within the 30-day window. Great customer service from them. That gun also had a sticky bold. The second one doesn't like to be pumped all the way to 3000 psi, getting really tough around 2700, but the bolt is smoother. So, beware quirky behaviors from gun to gun.

    Things I liked:

Everything. This gun is very accurate (.25 2nd Generation Synthetic) I put this gun on my chrony and got 900fps using JSB Diablo 25.39gr (exact king) with a fill of 2700PSI. After shooting to sight in the scope (Hawke Sport Opt. HD IR 2-12 x 50 AO) I then shot a string after refilling to 3000 PSI, of 32 shots with an ending pressure of 1250psi and a chrony reading of 720fps. Accurate at 25yrds to put hole in hole or touching holes. I went ahead and shot rounds 33 thru 37 just to see when the accuracy would fall off and noticed on round 35 a little drop. About 1" drop at round 37 with an ending pressure of 1000psi on the Marauder. I stopped there and just grinned. This is the .25 totally out of the box, no adjustments, and I got 32 good shots? The last shot generating almost 30fpe, I'm impressed. Trigger, now that is just a fine trigger. I'm really picky and I'm happy with no adjustments. The stars must have aligned just right for me on this one. This one is a keeper!

    Things I would have changed:

not too much, maybe have it come with the single shot tray?

    What others should know:

Fill em slow from a scuba or scba tank. Goes great with the Hill MK3 hand pump. IT's not really that bad of a workout using the pump. Just go slow on both up and down cycle and enjoy. I'm mid 50's small stature and I really kinda enjoy the pumping. Makes you appreciate each shot! What else? Just have fun with this gun, The accuracy is incredible and it is so adjustable. Have fun!

i just got the gun in the mail today, only had 20 minutes of sunlight to shoot around with it. but with in that 20 min of shooting with the gun not sighted in yet the gun was shooting hole into hole at 20 yards with a 8 round clip. the trigger is nice and smooth and the gun is extremely light! im excited to wake up first thing in the moring and see what the gun can do at 50 plus yards. GOOD JOB PYRAMID AIR.

    Things I would have changed:

got to use the benjamin airpump every 16 shots, more shots per fill would be nice but over all its all worth it. way better than the nitro piston guns!

    What others should know:

    Things I liked:

I love this rifle!!! I can get out to 55yards in by back yard and this thing will drop one on top of the other! I have shot a few squirrels with it so far and it will blow right through them. I should say I got the .25 and it loves the JSB heavy pellets. I was concerned about the noise but so no fear this thing is not loud at all. The trigger is really good. I get two mags before I recharge. I have done all the research and you can not get a better rifle for the price.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing...

    What others should know:

I did unknowing fire it with the bolt open and it blew out a o-ring. My own fault but now I know. After that the pellets we're going in sideways and locked the gun up. I called pyramid air and the lady on the phone is the best! No only did she tell me what I did wrong she did not call me stupid!! On to of that she sent me a pack of o-rings to fix it on there dime! You just do not get any better and they just for that have a customer for life. Other than that you can pump it up with a hand pump but it sucks bad! The discovery is another beast and that is ok with a pump but this one you are gonna want a bottle. I just got the shoebox compresser from pyramid and that is the self licking lollipop.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much yet.. I have several 22xx and 2400kt that are well modded HPA units. I hope this Mrod will shoot like my Roy Weid 25 cal barreled 2540 (Single Hole 25 yds and will shoot as good as I can at any range) will update after a few days.

    What others should know:

As is well known the Mrod in 25 cal is a huge value and after I shoot some accuracy testing, if all goes well I will also add addition admiration. Also checked the power adjustment. It was set at 4 turns in.. I turn it up to 6 and charged to 3k then shot a King 25.4g it shot at 910 fps, nice.. Update later.. Matto

    Things I would have changed:

Less leakage my marauder leaks about 100 psi in 15 minutes. i would like for it to not leak so much.

    What others should know:

My last gun was a break barrel, very loud alot of recoil sucky trigger, the whole 9 yards when it comes to poor quality. I did some research online and found the Benjamin marauder, i researched for a long time on this gun and loved it. I have had it now for 5 days and i have put 700 rounds through it. i recommend to drop your springer now for it.

    Things I liked:

Out of the box and charged to 2600psi the gun was shooting quarter size groups at 35 yards. The trigger is one of the best triggers I've ever used and with some small adjustments it now shoots like a dream. It's very quiet, accurate, and a good gun all around.

    Things I would have changed:

Not a big deal, but I would have moved the velocity adjustment screw up about 1/4" so that the stock doesn't have to be removed to adjust velocity, or put a hole in the stock to access the screw so that I wouldn't have to drill one.

    What others should know:

The bolt was quite difficult to operate for the first 100 or so shots but it is working perfectly now. I was also only getting out 20 accurate shots on a fill to 2600psi, but this will likely change as it is tuned to my likings. So with a little time spent tuning, this gun can be a very impressive gun.

    What others should know:

This is no means an entry level pellet gun. It is a serious rifle and in the hands of a capable shooter, make a deadly combination. Highly recommend. My .22 likes the crosman premiers 14.3 gr domed in the box the best

    Things I would have changed:

the 22 badly needs a better barrel. I exchanged it for a .25. very happy now!

    What others should know:

my 22 synrod wouldn't shoot a group with any pellet I tried, I sent it back to PA and exchanged it for a .25 cal in wood and it shoots amazing! AT 25 yards it will shoot a ragged 1 hole group. I shot a good size red squirrel dead thru both front shoulders. it broke both legs and 2 ribs and the pellet kept on going. It dropped instantly. Oh and the shot was taken at 38 yards. the best part was the other squirrels that were with it didn't even flinch, THATS how quiet it is. shooting 23.4 grain JBS at 849 fps with the factory settings on the breech settings, but opened up the velocity screw out to max. it requires about 4 pumps per shot from the Benjamin pump after the pump gets to equal pressure with the gun. So if you shoot 8 times at this setting it will require about 32/33 pumps. Pellets are a bit expensive but this is going to be my hunting gun so no big deal there. P/A took good care of me!!!

    Rating 2.02.0 2.0

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

IF you can get a good gun, it handles and shoots very well. It's quiet, adjustable, and can be very accurate (if you have the patience to find a pellet that will work in the very finicky barrels of the Marauders).

    Things I would have changed:

As others have mentioned, Crosman quality control with these .22 caliber Marauders is VERY POOR. It can be a timely, expensive, and frustrating process getting a good .22 Marauder. Thankfully, PA was EXTREMELY good to deal with throughout my process. Their excellent customer service is the main reason why I am keeping my current rifle with its deficiencies. (I just don't want to hassle them anymore!) If there was another PCP that I liked, I would give up on the Marauder, but there just isn't another air rifle in this price range with the features that I want.

    What others should know:

I went through 3 defective rifles before I got one that wasn't outright defective and could shoot. The first rifle grouped poorly, producing 10 shot groups at 25 yards of 4 to 6. And this is with shooting from different positions, holds, a shooting bag, and a bench rest, and using NINE different brands and types of pellets (CP's, FTT, FTT Green, Baracuda Green, Baracuda Match with head sizes 5.50, 5.51, 5.52, 5.53, and JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy). The second rifle had a ding on the rear of the air chamber. The third rife leaked at the fill nipple when the pressure reached 2,000psi. The fourth rifle shoots well, but only with 1 of the above pellets. And even though I'm probably going to keep this rifle, it still has a number of deficiencies (the shroud is not straight and sits against one side of the barrel band; the pressure gauge was installed rotated upside down; the trigger group was installed slanted (from right to left), so that it sits left of the trigger guard).

    Things I liked:

    Quiet, light, accurate

    Things I would have changed:

The single shot tray is a must, there are quite a few pellets that don't fit in the rotary clip. I've always had great luck with JSB pellets, but couldn't get any sort of grouping from them with this gun. I examined the clip and noticed that their skirts were getting seriously deformed by the rotation movement of the clip. I tried the same pellets with the single shot tray and it shot perfect dimes. Basically any of the softer pellets can't go in the clip (at least for me), they literally get destroyed as they spin around in the firing cycle. Tougher pellets like H@N barracudas don't seem to be affected, and shoot great from the clip.

    What others should know:

Averaging mid 800 fps on factory settings with a 35 shot cycle from 2600psi to 1800psi, with 14.3 grain. The manual states the gun is tuned to an efficient fill pressure, but doesn't bother to tell you what that pressure is... I'm using it at 2500-2600psi, but for all I know it could be factory tuned to 3000.
