this SMG is awesome, the looks, the sound, and specially the 6 shot burst mode, very powerful though, i like it i love it.

plastics, i would add more metal.

well, before shooting it make sure you wear eye protection, bbs will be all over and they're metal!!!!! they hit hard so beware of the 6 burst, and make sure at what you're aiming to is not hard or a wall, becouse it will hurt, happened to me

Like practically everyone, I think the Steel Storm is a lot of fun to shoot. If you want to be John Dillinger in the Roaring 20s and spray bullets out there 6 at a time until you're out of ammo or CO2 it's a real hoot. But if you want real accuracy, this is not the gun for you even on single shot. I can do better with any CO2 pistol or rifle I own. Much better even with pretty crude iron sights. Like the Daisy 008 for example.

Nothing I can think of. It does what it's designed to do and does it quite well.

I prize accuracy more than any other trait of an air gun so don't take my comments as a diss if you're a fan of combat weapons. Like this one and the H&K MP5 for example. They're fun but just not particularly my cup of tea.

I would like to see an adapter to a larger CO2 cylinder.

Very accurate. Easy to handle even though its an oversized pistol. Six shot burst is impressive.

Get a lot of accurate shots out of the two 12g.CO2 powerlets. Works smooth and the accesory rails are handy. Added a forward grip and pistol grip and even rapid fire shot are in close grouping on target. Neat gun with the extra fun of the machine gun type bursts.

Love the select fire and picatinny rails. Rate of fire is very fast. Accuracy is quite good...if you do your job, the gun will put it in a nice group even in burst mode. The price is right too!

Wish the magazine capacity was greater. It's amazing how fast you can go through 30 rounds. The sights are virtually worthless, but are you really gonna use the sights with this style gun? Of course, you can always throw a red dot on there! The plastic feels a little bit cheap, but it seems to hold up pretty well. Also, it goes through a lot of CO2 if you're shooting it much. I wish they made a nice bulk tank adapter option; I had to manufacture my own.

Great value. BUY IT! You won't be disappointed. Makes for a great day of shooting...the most fun you can have without the BATFE knocking at your door.

I like the CO2 cartridge magazine. It always pierces the the cartridges and is easy to reload. And it is more accurate than any smooth bore BB gun has a right to be.

Maybe a folding or removable stock to help steady your aim.

It is a great gun, when it works. I have owned two, and both stopped working because of the same problem. The gun will not cock and the trigger has no effect. I have returned the second gun to Umarex. But I have not heard back from them as yet.

Fun factor is awesome! This thing rocks. Accuracy is very good for this type of gun. Power is very hard hitting the first 60 shots. Looks very mean and real. I hope the Po-Po don't show up.

Offer a shoulder stock, work on the front sight so it doesn't open so easy and lose the BBs. It would also be nice if they could up the mag from 30 to 50 shots.

Expensive to shoot. I found that after a full load of 300 BBs shot, the power of the CO2's was getting too low to be practical. Be careful as to what you shoot at in auto; those BBs can come back at you just as fast, protect your eyes. This is a big machine pistol, not for kids. Also, this is a loud gun for neighborhoods, it sounds like a FAST air nailer. That little old "blue-haired" lady next door may be frieghtened by the noise and look of this pistol and call the police.

This gun is a blast to use. It fires very fast and it puts out 30 rounds in just a few pulls of the trigger. It is very compact and convenient.

I would like a larger capacity on the magazine. It doesn't last very ong with the 2 CO2 cartridges. It could use a foward grip on it for controlability! The warranty could be a lot better.

It can be rather dangerous due to rapidity of fire. A larger CO2 source would be good as long as it kept the size and convenience of the gun!

i would make it auto feed, so you do not have to stop and shake the BB's down .... but other then that not much ..... i also would like to buy more CO2 Clips.

it only hold 30 at a time so on the 6 shot burst, you run out fast, but you'll have fun with this gun anyway.

I read how much fun this gun is but I resisted getting it, mainly because I am 66 yrs old. But then I said to myself older people should have fun too. I put a green laser sight on it so I could shoot it in broad daylight w/o aiming. I also added a fore grip for stability. Man, it is a bunch of fun, single shot and burst mode. What makes single shot mode fun is because it is so accurate. I get fruit jar lids(2 3/4 in dia), drill a hole in them, and hang 8 of them with wire. At thirty feet, I can hit the hit the lids fairly regular. Today I backed off to 50 feet, put the laser dot at target top and hit the lid about every third shot. I do most of my shooting with the butt to the bottom of my rib cage. With that and the fore grip I get a stable shooting position and still can maneuver the gun smoothly.

When the co2 gets pretty low it will got into auto mode by itself.

A high quality machine pistol ! On fully automatic 6 shot burst the operative word is FUN ! I just can't believe that anyone can make an airgun like this and sell it for what they do ! I might even buy a second one.

Very little. But I wouldn't mind having a front handgrip on it that's removeable.

If you are a serious airgun collector, or enthusiast, you MUST get one of these Steel Storms for your collection. You'll never regret it.

This gun is deadly accurate. You can shoot small targets from 40 to 50 feet away with no problems (When co2 tank is full). This gun is really good for its price you can shot this beast in single shot or 6 round burst. I added a Leapers red dot and a Trinity foregrip with flashlight to make it look more military style. This gun shoots over 300 Steel BBs per Dual co2 tanks.

Rugged little hand full of fun. Large BB reservoir and 30 BB magazine. Great rate of fire on burst mode. Feels good in the hand. Economical.

This is, without a doubt, the most fun I've ever had with a BB gun. The price is great for this type of fun. Get the CO2 bulk adapter...you'll want it if you don't. No matter how many BB's you have..get more. You'll need 'em.

The rapid rate of fire on my Umarex Steel Storm is a real kick. It's worth it just to see the look on my friends faces when i shoot it or let them shoot it. My Wife loved getting to fire it at some junk windows in the garage-The Steel Storm really blows them apart. I let my kid shoot it too.He got pretty excited about it. So, it's fun for the whole family!Just wear SAFETY GLASSES because with this one you can get get lots of ricochets.(Think Automatic Weapon Safety)

I would make it a continuous feed so i could blast out all three hundred or so B.B.s at once instead of shaking the b.b.s into the feeder every 30 shots. Maybe A Silencer too because the first 60 or so shots pop like an Uzi - Especially in an area where there is an Echo.

You should buy two of these if you can afford it, so you can put One in Each Hand. It's a Real Joy to spray-apart some bottles with these. Plus you can get that War Experience with you and a buddy spraying some targets together. Also the first 30-60 shots will stick into wooden objects so if you set your targets by a fence be careful because it will look like a warzone. And put a tarp down if you're blasting glass in the basement or garage-Because-Cleaning Up broken glass isn't as fun as making it.

The cost, feel, blowback action, 30 shot, and rails built in for scope and laser/flashlight.

Needs more steel and less plastic

I bought this for my nephew and he loves it. I also bought a BSA red dot scope and under rail laser/flashlight combo from another dealer and they worked on it fine. Was very easy to dial in and shot good from the box with nice range and accuracy. For the $$$$ spent is was a good deal and from a distance its menicing...

Very affordable single/multishot BB gun. Accurate within its built capabilitys. Can add various attachments. Has ability to run off a larger air tank. Can paint it to add originality as I did, see photos.

Really fun gun. Added fron handle and laser sight. This thing is pretty loud which adds to the "UZI" effect. The burst mode is the funnest thing about this gun. Fairly powerful for the first 100 shots or so.

Like any CO2, it drops in accuracy after about 150 rounds.

I wrote a review about this gun that was vary favorable. But after owning it awhile I have too lower my opion of it a bit. It is all what everybody says about it. It's allot of fun right up till about the tenth time you use it and CO2 gas starts leaking out the magazine holder where it meets the gun. I can not seem to fix this. Now it is very hard to get parts for this gun the company wants you too send it in for repairs. Why? Make the parts available too me to repair myself. It will cost me more too have it fixed by them then it would be to throw it away and buy another. The question is do I buy another? Considering I bought two and they both did this with in a week of each other the odds are pretty good a new one would do the same. I did notice that some one installed a larger co2 canister on a hose to the magazine. Do you use the magazine you have to do that and does that fix the problem with the gun. I dont know but untill I hear something from someone in the know then I have too change my rating to a 1 star. I guess it was to good to be true. The old rating was a five star so to go to a single star means allot.
