Reduce weight Weight reduction probably not feasible at this price. Easier cocking - definately doable as Hajimoto has proven. Better QC on air stripper

It appears that the Gauntlet uses a lot of parts from other guns. Good and bad. Trigger from QB series - very good. Valve from QB series - bad (this is the reason for hard cocking). Marauder magazine - outstanding. Every poor review I have seen are from folks that seem to expect perfection out of the box and many have replaced their Gauntlet with something that cost more. Personally. I have spent another $100 on after-market parts, but for a total of about $350, I have a gun that fulfills my EVERY need. Accurate with any weight JSB pellet up to 18.13 gr. and some H&N's (and CPUM) and muzzle energy from 23.5 to about 29.5 foot pounds.

The only thing I liked had a removable air tank. got at least 60 shots unfortunately that was it. This is just my opinion hopefully no one takes this to literally if I’ve upset them. There are better choices

I ended up buying a refurbished crawl pitbull in replacement of this go on for a little over 100 more in this gone absolutely blows away the competition. Very accurate and good looking gun!

I would make it a little lighter and definitely make sure the bottle gauge is visible once the bottle gets screew in all the way.

The bottle on this rifle came lose, if I tight it up all the way, the Air gauge won't be visible no more which it is a big problem. Pyramyd Air Replaced the first rifle I got with this problem BUT, they ignored me after they sent me the second rifle with the same problem! I had to spend another $140 on ebay on another bottle to fix the issue.

Alas! A utensil that flicks lead right where I want it .time after time after time . I've gone through 8 break barrels and was starting to lose hope . boy oh boy am I glad I took the advice of the Instagram guy and rolled the dice with the gauntlet . I getabout 60 shots with one charge with JSB exact beasts in .22 . not to sure of the stats but I know I put a marble sized hole through a squirrel and I haven't seen or heard any since then .its a solid gun .

The bolt is a little dragish on the receiver really sticky scrape feeling a little 1000 grit wet dry with some chamber lube on the area smoothed it out alot and I don't know why but the barrel seems to get alot of lead fouling I mean dark lead and thick after about 200 shots or so the accuracy gets weird I mean ALOT of lead residue we are talking like 2 hours of nylon brush -mop- patch -repeat cleaning .but once cleaned up it shoots accurate as ever .

Well its kind of heavy .and long .I 0lan on getting a donnyfl short shroud with silencer combo tired of hearing my landlord bitch even though input hajimoto baffles in it which quieted it down alot .be prepared to go through tins upon tins of pellets .and get a spare magazine. Its so fun .I hand pump so I should be looking like Lou Farigno by the end of summer .it really is a fun gun .all kinds of mods and upgrades available which void the warranty but mine is good with out them thus far .i hope I didn't just jinx myself .damn .

Price, adjustability, the accuracy is awesome out of the box , bolt 10 shot magazine and many add ons !!!!

I purchased the .177 and wish it had a barrel band , but Mr. Hajimoto helped me out with that , one thing also is the magazine that came with the gauntlet and extra one I purchased we're quite loose in the breech , a little modification and problem solved

If your just getting into pcp I would highly recommend the gauntlet, or just to get a lot of gun for the price to add to your collection, I'm already thinking about the .22 :))) Thank you Pyramid Air !!!!!

For the price, It's a great gun. Preaty accurate. I do NOT like, the magazine, at all. To me It's very cheesy. The magazine that came with the gun was broke, and the 2nd magazine the you sent me loads differently than the first time I loaded it. Help do you at Pyramid sell a better ( more user friendly magazine than the one that came with the gun ? ) Thank You Mike Hudson

I needed a budget hunting rig for a coyote problem on my property, and this gun will fill that void. I got the .25 cal. At first I was not happy, horrible trigger, crazy hard to cock the bolt, stock that felt cheap! Then I tinkered with the trigger now its a good hunting trigger, then I added a extended air bottle with the reg. set to 2100psi. Now I get 3 magazines at about 48 ft. pounds, with the 25.4 JSBs I am getting 3/8 to 1/2 groups at 36 yards and 5/8 to 3/4 groups at 50 yards. Now the other problem, the thing is loud!!! not backyard friendly at all, I am ordering a Donny FL for it which should solve that issue. So I guess its a lottery when you bye a Chinese gun you either get a good one or not! I got lucky mine is pretty good. I really like the fact that this rifle has a foster fill port and not one of those crazy fill probes thats always blowing an o-ring hats off to Umarex!!!

Possibly a better quality stock, do something about improving the sound suppression this gun is really loud in .25cal. A better trigger but you can adjust it, fit and finish but it is a $300.00 gun so you cant be too picky!

Guys there is a lot of value here, I got my gun on sale here and with upgrade I have about $410.00 invested before buying the moderator which I can swap to my other gun an old BSA Scorpion that is crazy loud! So I have an effective hunting rig without breaking the bank, Oh after about 300 rounds the side bolt is getting easier to operate, I really like this gun for the money, Umarex nailed it with the .25 cal. Gauntlet!!!!! You can't go wrong with Pyramyd Air they stand behind everything they sell, great company to deal with!!

Gun has very good accuracy and the mags work well. Awesome rifle for the money.

Where the front swivel mount is located.

I have the .25 cal. So I shoot 16 shots from full then I refill with a hand pump. It only takes a few minutes and guarantees consistent shots.

This gun is easy to load and operate. It is very accurate and carries a big punch with the right pellets. The trigger is good. The safety is right there for finger.

Make the forearm of the gun better and not of flimsy plastic.

This is not the prettiest PCP I own but it is by far one of the most accurate PCPs I own and I have 7. almost hole in hole at 50 yards all eight shots. Move out to 100 yards and got a little over an 1 1/4 inches almost as good as my FX Crown. I got 912 to 935 FPS with JSB 25.3 and the gun loves them. Great power and accuracy for a budget priced gun.

Higher shot count, could only get about 22 full power shot before it fell off the regulator larger bottle would be nice. The bolt is a little hard to cock, hopefully it will get better with time.

the stock my not be so pretty but it is very comfortable in you hands, good balance.

The cocking action is very harsh, seems to be smoothing out a little but very sticky action out of the box, the noise is border line back yard friendly and if we are getting picky a pound lighter would be nice

Everything was well made. Feels good in the hands. Shoots super accurate. Loves most 25+ grain pellets. Love that there are tunes available for less noise, bore power and better accuracy. Has a sling mount :)

For the money you really can't complain, but... match trigger, better slide bolt and maybe a pup option

This market of inexpensive. 25 pcp guns are starting to take off and quality, power and accuracy is gaining on the big dollar guns :) get on board while the water is fine :)

The cost,excellent value for the money. The PLASTIC stock,it fits me Very well and doesn't feel cheap. The trigger (Yes,you read that right!). It is simple to adjust,responds Very well to a little moly and tlc. This transforms it into an excellent single stage trigger. It's extremely quiet ( mine is .177). Excellent accuracy. Loads of aftermarket support. Simple and Fun to work on/upgrade. Great magazine. Good balance. High shot count in stock form...and I actually like the looks! After a little work,the bolt/cocking action is easy and frankly,quite nice. And btw, it's regulated! (Quite well,I might add.)

Greater range of adjustment on the cheek piece. Better quality air stripper/o'ring. Better fit on the forestock. Perhaps offer the stock in a camo pattern? Extra mag? (I'm starting to nit-pick,so thats about it for what this rifle costs.)

I spent some time polishing the internals (bolt,hammer..ect.). Added a 380 cc bottle and Greatly increased the shot count. This rifle can easily be massaged into an Outstanding performer! In stock form,the cocking is a little crunchy out of the box. But it's Not as bad as some claim! Same with the trigger,with some Simple adjustments. I am getting .5" or smaller 10 shot groups at 50 yds on average,depending on the wind of course. Mine has been adjusted to shoot JSB 10.34's at @ 940 fps. (There are several outstanding videos available regarding tuning,ect.). A Daystate or FX it Ain't. But for the cost,in My opinion? This rifle is damn near unbeatable! I Definitely plan on purchasing the .25 version. Take all the negative reviews with a grain of salt. I did...and happy with my purchase. Mike.

If there is a better rifle for $300, I've yet to find it! Accuracy is spot on! Regulated well . About 80 shots per fill. The adjustable comb makes fitting a scope nice. 10 shot magazine makes for easy strings. Less pellet fumbling. Looking for an economical gun to play at FT and this is it!

Trigger! It was 3.5 lb, gritty long pull. Mine was dry as a bone! A little adjustment, new spring and lots of grease, it's now 14 oz and much better! I wish I could buy a walnut stock...include an extra magazine? More comb height adjustment?

My third pcp rifle. Looking to get into FT economically. And this is it. Don't expect perfect, but this is much more than a $300 gun. Look for these on the firing line in 2019! Up against rifles costing 10 times more! The stock is plastic and fits like a $300 gun.
