    Things I liked:

Because I got the wood stock, the rifle is extremely realistic. My excuse for buying this rifle is that my father, an officer in the Marine Corps during WWII, carried the real thing. He survived Peleliu and Okinawa, or I would never have been born. Because the bolt cycles, it is fun to shoot. It is even fun to shoot when you run out of BBs.

    Things I would have changed:

I was disappointed that the rear sight is not adjustable for elevation, only for windage. Also, I have to fiddle with the magazine to get it to properly lock into the rifle. The mag release button functions, but there is a sweet spot that must be hit before it locks the magazine in place. I cannot simply insert the magazine and have it click into place.

    What others should know:

I like to see just how far back I can get and still retain accuracy. At 75 feet on a bench using a bag, this rifle is not very accurate. I am getting 6" groups at that distance. At 30 feet, it is okay. You get about 30 good shots per CO2 cylinder.

    Things I liked:

Love everything about this rifle. I shoot at targets at 70 ft and with open sights pretty much stay in a 3-5 in circle. For plinking thats pretty cool.

    Things I would have changed:

Would be nice if it operated with two co2 cylinders as the blow back uses a lot of juice allowing less than 50 shots per 12 g.

    What others should know:

Spend the dough and get the wood furniture

    Things I liked:

I very much liked the design. I had many years ago I version of the Crossman airgun M-1 Carbine bb gun. That was my first bb gun. the new varsian is much more powerful then my Crossman m-1 carbine . I like the lines of the M-1 carbine. It is a very close replica m-1 carbine.

    Things I would have changed:

Please try to improve the quality control and value. My rear sight broke within a week also my front sight became disconnected in less that a week. both were quick fixes but they should haved worked for more than a week. One Item I would change is the magazines they began to chip and slip very quiclly.

    What others should know:

for the pricepoint I would have expected not to have the several issues I had. I got much better performance out of my Colt single action army's

    Things I liked:

I originally ordered the one with the plastic stock, but I knew it would nag me forever that I didn't get the wood version, so I ponied up the extra dough and put that regret to rest before it ever got a chance to keep me awake at night. I'm so glad I did too. It's a very realistic looking replica. I have over 50 replica air guns, and this one is probably the most realistic one in my collection. It's definitely my new favorite. It shoots good for a BB shooter, feels great in the hand, has noticeable recoil from the blow back, and a nice sounding crack to it. I added a cheap eBay sling to it, and it fit perfectly. I'm a happy camper.

    Things I would have changed:

I'd like to see the lawyer speak hidden better. Thank goodness for sharpie markers.

    What others should know:

Hold the magazine upside down when loading to get the 15th BB in. Buy lots of Co2.

    Things I liked:

Excellent replica, a lot of fun to shoot, well made getting 45 shots per CO2. Bought the wood stock , gonna get the plastic stock also. I highly recommend this gun.

    Things I would have changed:

A sling and Oiler should be available from Pryramd Air, adds a lot to look

    Things I liked:

    Accuracy, mechanical aspects.

    Things I would have changed:

How the top hand guard is secured to the weapon. Poorly executed. Almost as if it was an after thought. Mine rattles back and forth about 1/8 of an inch. It does not seat tight against the lower half of the stock. Also the top portion of the hand guard is 4 shades lighter than the bottom half of the stock. You would think that since this is plastic they could of matched the colors exact unlike stain on a wooden version. The quality of this one I received feels very cheap with the movement and rattling of the upper hand guard. Still can't believe that this was deemed acceptable to be shipped by the manufacturer and PyramdAir.

    What others should know:

Wait for the wooden stock version. That is what I ordered originally but came back the next day as out of stock. Found out later that they would not have them until first part of August. You will not like this plastic version, not for a 200 dollar weapon. Very light feel to it and does not give you a sense of the original.

    Things I liked:

Out of the box I was shooting sub 3/4 inch groups at 10 metres and 15 yards. No sight adjustments required with the Hornady Black Diamond BB. Hard to believe the specs on this gun are so close to the real steel...

    Things I would have changed:

Due to an excellent review by Denis Adler I was aware of how loose the upper fore grip on the plastic stocked gun was. A couple of clear tape dots (3/4 inch or 1 inch) are all thats needed to stabilize the upper grip but that issue should have been addressed at the factory! Just a little bit of shoddy design!

    What others should know:

Clean the barrel with a patch soaked in lighter fluid before shooting. Mine was really dirty and oily! BB guns need a clean dry barrel to shoot accurately. A cheap AK sling can be modded to fit perfectly.

    Things I liked:

I own three real M1 carbines, two Crossman M1 BB guns, and the Cyma airsoft version, as well as the Chiappa 22 (a real disappointment), and a ERMA 22. I fell in love with this sweet little air gun as soon as I opened the box. The attention to detail is fantastic even when laid side by side with my 1944 Inland carbine. I also love the blowback action which is quick and crisp. The sound it makes is loud enough to make you think you are firing a real gun, not an air rifle. I have the plastic stock version which is also very high quality. Thank you Pyramyd for the EXCELLENT service.

    Things I would have changed:

Absolutely nothing. It is an air gun, not a real carbine. Hoping the wood stock will come as a separate option, but I'd be willing to order the complete gun with the wood stock.

    What others should know:

Get extra magazines as soon as they're available.

    Things I liked:

This is a well made and accurate reproduction of the M1 carbine (I purchased to one with the hardwood stock). Out of curiosity I tried fitting my original bayonet to it and it fits just like my real M1 carbine. It is a fun gun to shoot and relatively accurate with the Copperhead and Daisy BB's.

    Things I would have changed:

Perhaps the gun might be designed to make the single CO2 cartridge last for a few shots more than it does. I got about 60 shots before it got to low to make the gun function properly.

    What others should know:

A great little air gun I would recommend this to any shooter. Or anyone who wants an accurate reproduction of the M1 carbine.
