    Things I liked:

Such a good replica. The wood imitation is very good and feels good too. It stops firing when the magazine is empty and it can be field-stripped. The accuracy is very good at 24 feet (not tested farther away), in single fire mode or using short bursts. The muzzle has a decent recess and there is NO WHITE WARNINGS FLASHING ALL OVER.

    Things I would have changed:

Umarex should adopt the type of speed loader and magazine loading process like the Crosman Buschmaster MPW, it makes loading BBs really fast and easy, specially if there is not a follower stop-holder. The Umarex speed loader sucks, beside jamming every time.

    What others should know:

With 2 CO2 and having 7-8 burst per magazine I got 210 rounds, but the last magazine was lower in power. So, I am considering 180 rounds/2CO2. With only one CO2, 90 good rounds. All around 78 F. It is really fun to fire this gun, specially with 3 or more magazines.

    Things I liked:

This is very realistic and shoots well. For me the stock is very short and the gun is heavy. It's a nice gun so shoot,

    Things I would have changed:

Easier to load CO2, instead of the allen wrench every time to reload CO2.

    What others should know:

Looks and weighs like the real thing. Very well built.,

My brand new fully selectable M1A1 Thompson SMG is SHAWEET! I have already put about 200 BB's through it in semi and full auto with no problems. I got nothing against MP40's. Oh, who am I kidding...yes I do. lol.

    Things I would have changed:

    It's great! Don't change anything.

    What others should know:

Specifications call for .177 steel BB's. I've been using copper coated .177 BB's while waiting for steel units to arrive from PYRAMYDAIR (via Amazon). I have had no problems with the copper coated BB's, so far. Using the full selectable capability is a little scary but, FUN. I am still improving my back stop. This is some very serious fun. It reminds me of the sound of the, nose mounted, mini gun on an A10 aircraft.. So far I have just shot brief bursts in full auto mode. It is amazing. Thank You for letting me review it. Joey Cheers.

    Things I liked:

Gun is a blast to shoot and very accurate but is close to being a toy because of the hollow plastic stock. When fired it makes more of a mechanical tiny hollow sound rather than the co2 pop sound and the sling hooks rattle and create even more of a tiny sound. The weight, looks and feel are great and comes in a nice box, but I think a little pricey for an adult toy. Even a Red Ryder is more solid and has wood.

    Things I would have changed:

Include a sling, offer a wood or solid resin stock and a larger magazine.

    What others should know:

I first broke in the gun with several single shots instead of starting out with full auto. This gives the gun some delicate break in movement of the parts before using the full auto. I also have the MP40 which I feel is a much better gun.

    Things I liked:

Received my M1A1 today. OIled up two cylinders and Umarex bbs and gave it a go. I will tell you I was very, very impressed with the accuracy of this gun. The rear sight hole is pretty big compared to the front post but I noticed I had no problem putting them exactly where I wanted. I was shooting in the garage so max distance was about 20 feet. I had full power for more than three magazines and about half way into the fourth it started to lose a bit. Not bad when you get 100 plus shots with no noticeable drop in power. Better than my MP-40. I almost prefer the semi-auto as the full auto is too fast for me. I would like it to be about half the speed it is. It will certainly empty the magazine in less than an second. I watched a youtube review where the fellow was picking off an aspirin and then a toothpick laying flat on top of a balloon. Impressive and now I believe it. So far who knows about reliability but first impressions are 5 across the board.

    Things I would have changed:

Flip sight with a smaller aperture choice. Slower full auto rate like the real one. Hold back device for the loader so you don't chip your fingernails off. Place to stow the Allen wrench on the gun.

    What others should know:

Looks and feels like a first class replica. Faux wood stock was fine.

    Things I liked:

Just about everything. This gun is fun and cheap to shoot. I shot at 10 and 20 yards and the group at 20 yards wasn't much bigger than the group at 10 yards. It hit dead on for elevation and slightly to the left for windage using Hornady Black Diamond BB's. Full auto is a blast and the gun never missed a beat with 5 magazines of ammo put through it. It has nice weight and handles well. The mags are robust, easy to load, and are very well made. The barrel was clean as received, unusual.

    Things I would have changed:

I would add a hold down for the mag follower, change the rear sight to be at least adjustable for windage. Make the front sight post more narrow, offer a wood stock at additional $.

    What others should know:

Gun has a few sharp edges especially the rear sight. The front sight post is large and beefy and will cover a 1" target dot at 10 yards. With a speedloader you can load a mag in seconds instead of fumbling around and loading it by hand. The trigger is on the heavy side, typical for a select fire BB gun but the guns weight keeps it steady and on target. I got 5 mags or 150 shots out of 2 CO2 bulbs. There were no stoppages at all. The pistol grip on mine was a little loose but the screw was bottomed out. I added a flat washer and internal tooth lock washer and now all is well. Magazines are very well made, at $50.00 each they should be. Overall, I am happy with mind and have no problem recommending it to others. One last thing, the mag slot is larger than need be, maybe this means a drum mag will be offered in the future. That was be awesome.

    Things I liked:

An absolutely awesome replica. Very well made with nice heft and feel. The imitation wood stock, grip and forearm are the best looking use of synthetics I have seen so far, very realistic. Single shot accuracy at appx. 22 feet is very good for a BB rifle, however it does shoot slightly low, so you need to compensate a bit. Full auto opens the groups up somewhat, but they are still tight and it doesn't spray the BB's all over the target like some other rifles. So far I have gotten about 5 1/2 full mags of shooting per Co2 charge on full auto mode using Hornady Black Diamond BB's. No jams or misfires either. Gone thru 3 mag fulls so far. Will probably buy a couple of more mags to keep loaded up for each shooting session.

    Things I would have changed:

The BB follower should lock back to make loading easier. That's about it.

    What others should know:

Buy one, you won't be disappointed.

    Things I liked:

I agree almost entirely with the other"Dan". Very accurate at 20 yards for a smooth bore. I would have happily sprung an other $100 for real wood as I did for the M1 carbine. Which is also a favorite of mine. If a "wood kit" comes out in the future, I will upgrade my gun.

    Things I would have changed:

As I stated real wood would certainly be better, even at a higher price. Also the mag inserted alittle snug being it was new. Alittle spray silicon fixed it.

    What others should know:

Stay safe and healthy in these troubled times!

    Things I liked:

This looks and feels like the real thing (although I've never had the real thing). Anyway, it's beautifully made and the faux wood could really fool anyone. It shoots accurately for a smooth bore bb gun and when you go full auto, it really is a hoot!

    Things I would have changed:

The 30 round magazine is a PITA to load and when you shoot full auto it's empty in a few seconds. The extra mag is way overpriced. They should try to make a larger capacity mag at a reasonable cost.

    What others should know:

It's pretty much a novelty, but if you've had a crush on Tommy guns it's worth the price.

    Things I liked:

Very heavy, can't compare to a real M1A1 cause never held one. Awesome fun to shoot in full auto. They did not make guns like this when I was a kid. I grew up with a Daisy Red Ryder

    Things I would have changed:

Not much except it would had been nice if it included the sling

    What others should know:

This gun is very accurate. When fired, it has more of a mechanical sound rather than a CO2 pop sound. This is because of the metal slide lever pounding back and forth. Compared to the Legends MP that has more of the CO2 sound. The M1A1 is super fast in full auto and I suggest you brake in the gun at first with several single shots. I also suggest using the Umerex precision steel bb's or the Hornandy blk bb's. Both guns, mostly the MP seem to jam with the Daisy steel or copper bb's

    Things I liked:

Authentic good looks. Real attention to detail. The rate of fire is crazy fast. Blowback on full auto gives a real submachine gun feel.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine capacity is too low. Mag dumps are too fast. The wood stock looks real, but is made of metal and is hollow. The sling hooks rattle against it, and the sound gives away the hollow stock. Filling the cavity with some kind of insulation would be an improvement. Higher capacity magazine (drum?) and insulation in stock cavity = great (5 star) product.

    What others should know:

I have the MP-40 as well. This is very similar to the MP-40, but the MP-40 magazine holds a lot more BB's and has a slower rate of fire. So a mag dump on the MP-40 takes a lot longer and is more fun. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the Germans would make the MP-40 a bit better than the tommygun.

    Things I liked:

Here it is! A legend made affordable to the masses! The construction of this gun is excellent (I only wish it came with real wood). The details and functionality of this piece are very accurate to the actual firearm. There is also a way to take down the gun the same way you would do it on the firearm counterpart, although not as much. I have put through a dozen mag fulls of bbs through this gun already and it lt's simply a blast to fire. It is also accurate for a smooth bore BB gun. From 15 yards my shots landed centered in about a single 2 1/2 inch group on semi auto without much effort.

    Things I would have changed:

    Wood instead of synthetic plastic.

    Things I liked:

Looks, function, accuracy. My gun is hitting where I point the sights. Not high or low but dead on. I averaged 432.8fps on my basement range ( 29 feet) the temp. is low 60's On two strings I warmed the mag with a heat gun and got 449.5 & 464.3 for averages, that should be more like summer temps I would assume. And a big surprise was I got 6 mags on full auto (30 shots per mag) before I started getting low on CO2 so I shot the 7th mag on simi auto before I had to change CO2. I'm very pleased with the outcome.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe have a sling. But that is nit picking.

    What others should know:

The manual calls for RWS chamber lube, If you don't use it then there goes the warranty. I talked to a tech at Umarex about using Pellgun oil on the 12 gram cartridge and he told me I voided the warranty on my cowboy lever action. I told him it wasn't a petroleum product and he said I was wrong. So beware of using pellgun oil with Umarex products!
