    Things I liked:

Great gun lasted for about ten Co2 reloads then stopped working .Ok after now more time has passed @ 10 co2 reloads gun fires only 1 or 2 bb reloads then stops -I have bought another magazine same problem - Umarex had gun back and test fired they had no issues - seems now it will only fire in semi without freezing but it did before .fine on auto and I was firing short bursts then @ 15-20 seconds instead of just hammering it out in 2 seconds- to put this in perspective the MP40 has same design - 2 co2s and 52 bbs instead of 30 and I have fired it much more in the same manner and it never did this.Anyway the returned gun would not work maybe got one mag to shoot then stopped firing very hard to get out and put in the next which did the same thing - Returned and got a replacement gun and new mags - have fired both one CO2 cycle @ 210 BBS so time will tell

    Things I would have changed:

Mag needs A detente hold down for BB follower made one previously for the MP40 and it works fine on this one its just a coat hanger wire cut and bent but it works fine saves fingernails

    Things I liked:

My m-1 carbine was my favorite rifle. This m1a1 rifle is now my favorite rifle!

    Things I would have changed:

I don't know how you would make this replica any better. Its just so fun to shoot!

    What others should know:

Its like a real thompson. Except its cheaper to shoot. And you can shoot it in your yard!

    Things I liked:

Boy got the gun on time and what a sweet thing! Shot 100 feet and hit targets 5 inches in diameter almost no drop tip of sight in notch! Need more clips! 20 rounds in 1 to 2 seconds, amazing speed and accurate enough to be effective at 30 feet. The weight and mechanical operation are dead on the real thing. I watched a video of a real gun and this is so close it's gratifying to use. I have the mp40 and a fine gun in full auto but it's slooooow compared to this gun. Worth every penny but I need more BBs because it very fast in auto. The frangible BBs feed perfectly and the Umarex BBs worked without a glitch. I oiled the gun before use to make it smooth.

    Things I would have changed:

foam fill the stock, and a notch in the groove to hold the clip spring back while loading. it's hard to improve on a really perfect repo of a classic gun.

    What others should know:

    get extra clips and BBs!!!

    Things I liked:

This Legends M1A1 is definitely a smile machine. It is amazingly accurate for a smooth bore BB gun. At 45-60 feet, hitting plastic water bottles is no problem. It's harder to hit with on full-auto, but who cares? I think it's more fun than is legally allowed in a couple of states! I thought it would be a gas hog but sprayed some silicone lube into the works through the mag well and it smoothed up, and possibly speeded up the lock time. Opening and closing the valve faster may help it to use less gas. The gun gets a good 150 full power shots and starts to slow down by around 180. Tried reloading one more time just to see how much more it would shoot ( BBs are cheap ) but there wasn't enough gas left to empty the mag. Did I mention how much fun this thing is? The only problem I've had so far is that EVERYBODY wants to shoot it! Get one for yourself, you won't regret it, and no, I don't work for Pyramyd Air. Just be sure and stock up on CO2 and BBs. You're going to want to shoot it a lot.

    Things I would have changed:

The only change I've made was to add a period correct Kerr type sling. Now it's perfect.

    What others should know:

Keep it lubed. Everything works better and your new toy will last longer. When I change CO2 cylinders, I give it a spritz of oil in the barrel and keep the magazine well lubed inside and out. Don't over-do the oil, just keep everything slippery. Crosman CO2s and Daisy BBs work just fine in my gun..

Include or offer a realistic WWII sling.

Outstanding product. Great service. Thanks Pyramid.

    Things I liked:

Been a long time coming but whether the weight and it's great and sweet as cotton candy and puts a lot of stuff down range straight and drops a couple inches after 40 feet tight pattern and the only problem is going to be you don't have enough magazine and should make a drum magazine for BB and the good news is that no more brown tree rat in my backyard.

    Things I would have changed:

I would put the other flash guard and the pistol grip in front? Hmm and should make the grease gun M1A2 I don't know for sure. And have extra magazine available I'm still trying to get some no luck. Bummer need more magazine.

    What others should know:

They can be a little cheaper?

    Things I liked:

Realistic looks, accurate beyond imagination for a BB gun, full auto is great.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer wood version, butt-stock sounds and feels ultra cheap.

    What others should know:

I took the butt plate off and stuffed some leftover dynomat sound deadener in the butt stock because it sounded really hollow and made of cheap plastic, plus felt too light in the rear. I understand using plastic, but it can be done well, or done cheaply. It's hollow and just feels like a cheap miser's after thought fitted to an otherwise amazing replica. Filling the stock up helped it quite a bit and added weight to the back of the gun. I bought two magazines, and on one of them I failed to puncture the upper CO2 bulb. The gun functioned just fine, and was only down a little on power compared to the other magazine that had both cartridges puncture. I can probably keep a spent one in and use less CO2. Shot count was fairly close between the two as well. Shooting 15 rounds in semi, and finishing with a full auto burst to empty, I was able to reload four times before power dropped off noticeably. At 25 feet, I could hit dead center of point of aim.

    Things I liked:

It works flawlessly. For a BB gun its very accurate. The fun factor is off the charts. My favorite shooter out all my auto bb guns. Which include MP40,SBR,Beretta and Uzi.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe a drum mag. A forward grip option to use 1927 pistol grip. Real wood option would be nice. None are deal breakers. I really like this gun.

    What others should know:

Real Thompson wood will not work on this gun as is. The configuration of the way its mounted is totally different. If you always wanted a Thompson buy one you wont be sorry

    Things I liked:

I have not yet tried it out, but I was really impressed with the weight and overall realism of the gun. I was especially impressed with the plastic stock. That is the most realistic plastic stock I have ever seen. At first glance, it looks just like wood.

    Things I would have changed:

I wouldn't change a thing. I bought this gun because when I was a little kid back in the '60s, the TV show "Combat" was my favorite show. Sergeant Saunders, played by Vic Morrow, was my hero. He always carried a this gun. I had the Mattel version, called the "Tommy Burst." We played "war" all the time when we were kids.. because our dads fought in WWII. The other boys envied me because I had the coolest gun.

    What others should know:

I repeat...I have not yet shot this gun. I am relying on Umarex stellar reputation for producing high quality replica guns. I own several.

    Things I liked:

Absolutely AWESOME !!! Everyone's wish that this gun be made into a 'Legend Replica' has come to fruition with this fantastic offering. Everything about it from appearance to function is incredible as this is nearly a perfect copy of the real weapon in every way except of course that it's an air gun. The 'wood' items even look and feel like the real thing. The quality of manufacture, assembly, and attention to detail is outstanding. Accuracy is surprisingly very good considering it's a smooth-bore. Hits right at the point of aim right out of the box. Since the magazine design mimics that of the MP40, it functions flawlessly without any feed problems what so ever.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing except maybe offering real wood components and lowering the cost of extra magazines.

    What others should know:

This is an unbelievable full auto air gun that even exceeds the MP40. As you would expect, additional magazines are a must along with a good supply of quality bb's and co2. This is a 'must have' for your collection. Buy it as I guarantee you won't regret it

    Things I liked:

Realism. Nearly identical to my Auto Ordnance, except for the shorter barrel of course. Fairly accurate in semi. Reminds me of the carnival tommy guns as far as accuracy on full auto. Trigger pull is okay, nothing special and a little spongy. The plastic stock looks as good as real wood in my opinion.

    Things I would have changed:

Surprisingly, it's a lot heavier than the real thing. I wouldn't want to lug it around. Offer a sling. The real ones are cheap enough, but it would be nice to have it all in one spot. The one real gripe I have is the tiny, tiny lever to pull the spring down on the magazine for loading. The spring is substantial and takes a pretty good effort.

    What others should know:

Make sure you put a drop of air gun oil on the end of each co2 cartridge. Full auto is a blast, so purchase plenty of co2 and bbs. I haven't tried sintered bbs nor the copper clad lead. Anybody know if they work okay in this?

nothing that I can think of

    Things I liked:

Build quality, weight, reliability, accuracy, and looks. Just about everything about this gun I like. In cool weather I get 5 magazines before CO2 needs changing. Muzzle velocity with Hornady Black Diamond BB's is 410 fps. In full auto, the cycling of the bolt feels like it's a real gun. Gun has been 100% reliable. The cyclic rate is fast, probably in the 1000 rpm range. I have always liked Thompson's but never lucky enough to own one. This gun is 100% fun and it's accuracy will surprise you.

    Things I would have changed:

I would add a follower hold down on the magazines, smooth the sharp edges around the rear sight. I would also offer a wood stock version and a drum magazine with at least a 75 shot capacity.

    What others should know:

This gun is pricey for a BB gun but it is worth it just for the fun factor. It looks like a real Thompson and almost as heavy as the original. Mine has been 100% reliable using 3 different magazines. Mags are very well made but expensive at $50 each but extras are a must because 30 shots does not last long even in semi auto. I fired at 2.5" circle targets at 10 yards in semi and full auto and every shot was in the circle. Even when I did a full auto 30 shot dump they all stayed in the 2.5" circle. Easily hits cans at 20 yards, the furthest range I have tested it so far. If you like WWII weapons you will love this gun.

    What others should know:

THE MAGAZINE IS HARD TO LOAD. BUT GUN IS FUN TO SHOOT.
