    Things I liked:

Realism. Weight/heft. Size. Color. The blue color is very authentic, not just a black paint. Even the frame has a bit more of the silver color underneath showing through, as if it were color-case hardened. The coloring of the barrel and the frame is not an exact match, which is a GOOD thing and VERY AUTHENTIC to a real blued Colt SAA. If you search Google for pictures of the Colt SAA firearm, you'll see what I mean. The grips are nice hard plastic with authentic off-white coloring. Like all CO2 guns with a removable grip panel the grip can be ever so slightly wobbly when installed. I compensated for this by adding a small sliver of black electrical tape over the notch at the top of the grip to give it a tighter fit when installed. Now it no longer slips at all. Gun shoots pretty accurately, about what I've come to expect from a smooth bore BB pistol. I shoot soda cans at about 15 feet and only miss every so often.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing really. Maybe also offer in a 7.5 inch barrel cavalry model.

    What others should know:

This gun is VERY authentic to the real deal. The cylinder movement & single action hammer/trigger is precise. I know some folks have mentioned that the hammer not resting fully forward against the frame is bothersome, but did you know that is how a real Colt SAA was designed? Quarter cock is the "Safety" position on the real firearm and how Colt designed it to be carried when loaded. So the fact that the hammer rests in this position does not bother me in the least. Also, I'm not sure if the internal workings are the exact same on this replica as a real Colt, but if it is, you MUST ALWAYS cock the hammer ALL THE WAY BACK before letting it gently back down again. Never lower the hammer from half cock after loading, or pull the trigger when in half cock. Doing so on the real firearm can damage or outright destroy the trigger/hammer notches. The owners manual never mentions this anywhere, so it's either an oversight, or this gun is designed differently on the inside.

The gun operates exactly like a real peacemaker.

    Things I would have changed:

Umarex (or another company) should offer grips in high quality wood.

Amazingly accurate reproduction. Just beautiful. I like everything about it.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Much has already been said about this airgun, and I won't repeat. I just had to add my vote. This goes very nicely with the Colt 1911 airgun as fine reproductions of my nominees for the two greatest contributions to modern pistols.

    Things I liked:

I'm impressed with the construction, fit and finish of the item. Feels like the real thing. Just got a chance to try it out and was also impressed with accuracy. I have a 24 foot range in my basement and at that range I constantly got 2 inch groups off-hand.

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic stocks are too slick for a good hold. Rough them up or give it some texture. The "cartridges" should be a larger diameter more like the true .45 LC so that it would fit in the ammo loops of a belt.

    Things I liked:

I ma a huge CO2 fan, by far the guns I shoot the most! I am also a cowboy action shooter fan so this was a natural fit for me. First off, very realist. I have five powder burners in single action and this one can lay next to them and easily be mistake for real. Fit and finish is great, weight is good, trigger is realistic. The gun fits in a standard western pistol holster for a Colt or Vaquero. Very good CO2 count. 9 cylinders (54 BBs) before a noticeable slow down. 12 (72 BBs) before I felt I had to change a cartridge. All still would still puncture a cardboard target at 15 feet. Great realistic fast draw practice. It's nice to not have to drive to the range, just walk to the garage. Accurate enough to hit a 5inch target at 20ft 100% of the time. This a great value and a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

    Things I would have changed:

The hammer sticks out a bit at rest, it a small thing, but the only thing I could think of I don't like.

    Things I liked:

The colt is well worth the money. Beautiful finish and great fitting makes this a wonderful fun gun. Accuracy was excellent and I kept good groups that 10 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

Shorter 4 3/4 inch barrel, as most cowboy gear is set for it. Wood grips would be nice.

    What others should know:

Enjoy it for what it is.

Superb replica, and fires too - never mind it's an airgun. The world was waiting for one of those to show up (forget about all those ''non-firing'' ersatz products).

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing !

    What others should know:

Get yourself a leather holster worth this excellent gun.

EVERYTHING!!! GREAT design, LOVE the look, the feel, the accuracy!

    Things I would have changed:

Hammer should close all the way. Wood grip option.

    What others should know:

You need extra shells and they are expensive at first, I would recommend you buy a few 6rnd sets ($10ea). The quick draw action does not align and feed fast enough. I am trying to make homemade wood handles and it it a challenge for an expert woodsman.

    Things I liked:

I did not expect it to be accurate, but it really is for a bb pistol - bounces a 5 hr. energy bottle from 10 - 30 feet consistently if my hold is consistent! All in all, I am really happy with this one for its quality and features. Also like the integral built in powerlet allen wrench in handle.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

Read the directions, there is a safety on the underside of trigger guard. If it is on - you can't pull hammer back or or anything.

    Things I liked:

The gun is very realistic and a lot of fun. I save on ammo & CO2 because it's just as slow to reload as a real SAA. My brother is sold on one after just an hour of plinking with it.

    Things I would have changed:

It needs a serious accuracy job. Umarex really should work on this.

    What others should know:

The poor accuracy is not an issue for close range on aluminum cans or fast draw practice on full size silhouette targets. Still a lot of fun.

This gun is so much fun! My 12 year old son and I have had hours of fun with it! Worth EVERY PENNY! It's realistic in size, look and feel, and easy to use. It's extremely accurate too! The video's on your site are great too! My son has watched them all and we will be ordering another one of these guns. One is NOT enough!

I liked the nickel one so much I just ordered the blued version. Very accurate for me 6 for 6 with soda cans at 25 feet. Have 50 cartridges between both guns. Like the loading and unloading part. Makes you think about how much fun your having.

    Things I would have changed:

Agree with wooden handles would be nice.

    What others should know:

The price is a little steep but once you have it you will never complain.

I own many Co2 pistols including the old Hahn 45 SSA co2 pistol, Chosman 38C, 357's 150, Makarov, PPK/s, Gamo 45 and other CO2 pistols plus a number of rifles including a RWS 52 rifle, but nothing comes close to my Umarex SAA pistol. The feel and functions make you feel that it's not a CO2 pistol but the real thing, from the weight and the trigger to the hammer it's first rate, Mine shots a group of about one inch at 10 yards (when I do my part) and the velocity average is 401 FPS. Anyone who want a SAA this is the one to get. Bob

The look and feel...this is not just a really nice gun, it's a showpiece! Feels like the real thing. Well made...I'll probably also buy the nickel version.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish it were slightly more powerful. What about a .177 version with a rifled barrel? (I think this one is smoothbore; apologies if I'm wrong about that).

    What others should know:

Nice gun for the money. A lot of fun to shoot. Slow to reload.
