    Things I liked:

Reliable well built air rifle/scope combo. I have had this 22 cal rifle for well over 1 yr. Still accurate with the right pellet and fast. Still very powerful pellet gun. Kills fox, skunk, porcupine, any small game.... with ease. Scope not bad. Very quiet and neighbors will not know you are shooting it.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger is horrible. I replaced my trigger and it made all the difference in the world. Research this trigger modification as it is well worth the extra expense to have a great rifle with a good trigger. Weight- very heavy (>9lbs). Wood stock is too heavy.

    What others should know:

Great value for a good hunting air rifle. Use a heavy pellet and you will be very pleased. Accuracy claims are the shooter not the rifle, so ignore. You will get used to shooting an air rifle over time. I have done another review but thought I would add that this is a very reliable, well built air rifle for the price.

the scope that comes with it is very well ( for me at least) i was droping squirrels at 30 ft dead on the spot and boy is it powerful , i have the .25 cal version .

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    Things I would have changed:

Just like everyone else - the trigger

    What others should know:

I replaced the original scope with a red/green cross hair Leepers one. Replaced the trigger with a GTX one. The new trigger has improved the shooting accuracy tremendously. It is a heavy shooter that requires more effort to cock, definitely not a starter air gun. It gets easier to cock the more you use it. So far, I have about 50 pellets though (still not broken in yet) and I can get about a quarter size grouping while shooting at a target placed at 30 yards. I expect the rifle to get better as I run more pellets trough it. I have tried heavy pellets and light ones and other than needing to adjust for elevation they all shoot well with an exception of a few fliers here and there (very surprised on how accurate it is so far). I have dropped a few squirrels, possums, and a raccoon. It is best to use heavy pellets for dealing with pests otherwise, the pellets go through the animal. So placement is key. Very good buy.

    Things I liked:

Things I like: SIZE; WEIGHT; & POWER. This is one POWERFUL air rifle. I bought it specifically for decreasing the squirrel population and, with the help of this baby, I am doing just that. They're no longer getting away wounded by .177 pellets. Speaking of pellets... Selecting the right pellet is everything with this rifle. Per Pyramid Air's recommendation, I purchased the JSB MATCH DIABLO EXACT pellets. The pellets I used before this were tumbling at any target over 10yds.

    Things I would have changed:

Things I would change: TRIGGER TRIGGER TRIGGER This trigger is a pain to be sure and may cause a few critters to get away. At some point I will change out the trigger as other customers have recommended. Don't know if this happened to anyone else but my SLING broke after only a few days. Bummed me out.

    What others should know:

I'm pretty sure I've put between 150 to 200 pellets through the gun and I'm not ecstatic about accuracy -- I expected more but I'm very new to the high-powered air rifle realm. Up until very recently, the shot groups at 25yds where chaotic and it took a combination of using the right pellets and patient zeroing to get bullseyes at 25yds and shot groups within a quarter.

scope CenterPoint is junk!!! allmost sent it back could not hit 6" paper plate at 20y but 3 out 10. put my bsa 3x9x40 from my old gamo springer now at 20y can put 8 of 10 inside nickle.

    Things I liked:

    Extremely powerful and accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

You need to really smack the barrel of the gun to open up the breach.

    What others should know:

You need heavy grain ammo, otherwise the gun breaks the sound barrier! I would NOT get .177 because of this reason--it would make it almost impossible to slow down to subsonic. I like the Diabolo exact extra heavy pellets. Also, this gun has a kick (more than a .22) and doesn't follow a pattern typical of other airguns/rifles. You need to get used to the kick to have good placement.

    Things I liked:

I love the way it looked. It also sounded really cool when fired. Very crisp crack sound. Sound of a would be, fine air rifle....

    Things I would have changed:

I fired 200+ pellets through and it would not make a consistent group. I should have purchased the 20 shot service so Pyramid could test it first. I fully believe that this could have been a very good rifle, however the specific gun I recieved was a dud. So I will be finishing my 500 count can to see if it will group; but if it wont im sending it back for a different one. Same model, because as I said, I beleive this is actually a good air rifle.

    What others should know:

By the 10 or 20 shot service. Its very very very dissapointing to have to send this back, wait to get the refund, then wait again to get another rifle.

The Trigger Please bring back U.S.A. products Crossman !!!!

    What others should know:

for the barrel did not stick out far enough to properly latch, causing the barrel to droop, this was easy to fix by removing the pin and grinding in a little more travel and adding a shims to the spring to give a bit more tension. The trigger sucks get a better trigger H&N Baracuda match, .177 Cal, 10.65 Grains, Round Nose 4.52mm shoot good, tight fit in chamber. Took close to 500 rounds to break in this gun With a heavy pellet this gun is more quite than my old rws34

    Things I liked:

The fastest break barrel air rifle on the market. Powerful at distance. Quiet with lead.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is Sloppy, do yourself a favor right off the bat and change it to a CharlieDaTuna GRT-III Trigger. There is a disclaimer on his website that says it might give this gun a hair trigger but I didn't have that problem and it's fully adjustable. The second thing is the barrel washers wobble and I definitely feel that is what affected my accuracy with the Scope, so Airguntoyz sells custom machined brass washers for the barrel and they are snug but the performance improves drastically. Airguntoyz also makes a gas ram bushing that helps keep your ram straight. When I took this rifle apart to tune it I did notice one side of the ram was worn so it must be flexing and this bushing prevents that. The kit is called the GRS XL bushing/ washer kit. The last thing I changed was the piston seal to a maccari Walther talon- hunter- mag- Turkish guns piston seal and maccari's Moly Paste after deburring and cleaning with denatured alcohol. Use Loctite on all screws including the scope.

    What others should know:

This is my first adult air rifle. As a kid I had a RWS Diana junior air rifle and a Chinese pellet rifle. I read forums for days before I chose this rifle. This gun is made in china but it honestly is a great gun with a little work and some upgrades. It seems like this is the case with most airguns from what I've read. Note it's not good for your piston seal or accuracy at longer ranges but synthetic pellets sound like a 22 magnum with this rifle. I got it in .177 because of ammo availability in my area.

    Things I liked:

it knocks skunks off their feet and i can shoot it 10 feet away from my neighbors house without legal ramifications. last time i had skunks under the shed it ran up a $600 debt with the exterminator. i got 5 skunks and 3 raccoons this month. i wouldnt normally shoot a raccoon but theyd been walking right past our door in the daylight. we have dogs and a baby so we couldnt take a chance regarding rabies. the mother raccoon was huge and one shot to the left flank surprisingly did it. all with kodiak match extra heavy. its not a toy, be careful!

    Things I would have changed:

the trigger pull is consistent but very long. its a tough gun to cock and after 40 rounds you'll be feeling it. its about as accurate as a break barrell is going to get, but beware you probably wont be driving nails in at 10yds. break barrels dont index in precisely the same spot after every cock so you get a little variation.

    What others should know:

buy the beeman kodiak match extra heavy for target shooting and small game hunting, theyre cheap and hefty, and the round nose flies very accurately. they have grouped the best for me and always land nose first without tumble. theyre identical to H&N barracuda but almost a nickel cheaper per shot. beeman crow magnums have horrible accuracy because the flat nose makes them tumble. they rip through the paper sideways almost every shot and youll never get your scope dialed with them because they fly so randomly. the eunjin extra heavy pellets are what i would recommend for bigger game. they fit very tight in the bore and group about an inch high compared to the kodiaks, probably due to increased velocity from retaining more gas pressure. they also splatter and deform more than the kodiak's so they'll inflict more damage. but they are spendy.

    Things I liked:

    Powerful. Handsome stock.

    Things I would have changed:

Very loud, even after being fully broken in with 500 pellets. Rifle is very, very hard to shoot accurately. You need an artillery hold with a very consistent grip, or your groups will be wildly off (even from a bench).

    What others should know:

Watch the accompanying PA video. If you want something that's going to be fun and easy to shoot, this isn't it. If you just want the most bang out there, this is the gun for you.

    Rating 2.02.0 2.0

    Things I liked:

Powerful gun. PA is a great company and am happy with their customer service.

    Things I would have changed:

I have found this to be a difficult gun to shoot accurately. After much trial and error, I've found that an artillary hold is crucial, as the gun will shoot all over the place if you actually put the butt of the rifle firmly onto your shoulder. As others have stated, the trigger gives you no indication of when its about to break. You just try to pull back progressively and smoothly until the bang surprises you. It's also quite loud - not sure I'll be able to use it in my backyard.

    What others should know:

If you want a backyard pest control rifle that's easy to shoot out of the box, this isn't it. If you are patient and don't mind the weight, trigger, noise, and challenge to shoot accurately, then you will have a powerful airgun. I would personally have traded 100 fps for a better overall package.

    Things I liked:

I have the XL 1100. It is definitely an adult gun. Heavy but well balanced. Tons of knock down power in .22 and .25cal. I am getting fantastic groupings with several pellets: Predator Polymag, JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy, Beeman Kodiak, Beeman FTS Copper, Beeman Kodiak Copper,Crosman Premier Domed. (3) 5 shot groups at 25yd avg. .237" and at 50 yds .578" with JSB Jumbo.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much other than include a tube of Crosman Silicone Chamber Oil with a new gun and a option without the scope for a lower price. Everyone pretty much knows the trigger is not match grade so I won't beat that dead horse.

    What others should know:

These were done at local rifle range, outdoors, with calm winds at 90F (32C)and 29.94" and relative humidity of 63%. As most know, this gun is very sensitive to the hold technique. The lighter the hold the better. A couple recommendations to people who may be new to airguns. I always put 100 rounds or more through a springer ( or gas piston ) before I mount the scope and begin the sighting process. I hear of too many people taking a gun right out of the box and mounting a scope, not cleaning the bore, and expecting it to hold tight groupings instantly. You wouldn't expect Nolan Ryan to get on the mound without warming up and throwing a no-hitter would you? I did replace my factory trigger with the aftermarket one everybody pretty much knows about. It made a BIG difference in trigger pull, which affects accuracy. Practice the artillery hold a ton. LIGHT LIGHT LIGHT TOUCH!!! Lightly touch the trigger with the tip of your finger and pull slowly and evenly. For my gun the cocking effort became easier at about 40 shots. This will vary. The accuracy also improved in mine at @ 40 shots. Again, your results may vary. Report (sound) is now slightly less than when fired the 1st time. I would recommend a shooting stick if you are to use this hunting squirrels or birds. I am shooting with a UTG (Leapers) 4-16x40AO scope. I have not had any problems with the scope, gun combo. One thing you can do with the stock, is hydro-coat it in camouflage. Gives it a whole new look.

    Things I liked:

Power, accuracy, and quietness (for a magnum springer)?

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger. The stock unit was creepy and heavy with crude adjustments. I'd give it 5 stars easily if it had a good trigger from the factory. This trigger is an insult to an otherwise fine rifle.

    What others should know:

Get a good trigger for this rifle to realize it's full accuracy potential. I installed a GTX Gen II which made a huge difference. This is a big, long, powerful rifle that requires more energy than you may expect to cock. The rifle also performs much better with an artillary hold. If using a rest, it must be right in front of the trigger guard or accuracy will suffer. That's just part of using a springer (even a gas piston one). The gun requires a certain technique (light grip - artillary hold) for good performance. But - once you get the technique down, this is a very powerful (easily shoots through a 1 inch board at 25 yards) and accurate (1 hole groups at 25 yards with Crosman Premier HPs) rifle. If you want a magnum springer - this is it.

    Things I liked:

Ive owned this rifle for a few months now. always been a fan of benjamin as i grew up with this brand. so i wanted something that would knock down anything from a chipmunk to a woodchuck. i very much like the weight, the feel, and the ergonomics of this rifle. its about the same size and weight as an m24. just feels solid. the 25cal pellet does some damage down range for sure.

    Things I would have changed:

the trigger takes some commitment when pulling. long draw which i do not like. i'm not a fan of the trigger as many others arent. i'm also having a hard time with accuracy. i'm hitting within a 6in radius at 60 yards which is insufficient for me. i've tried about 6 different pellets and have had no luck with consistency beyond the heavier the pellets, the more accurate they are. i'm not too happy in that aspect. i also cant tell if its that split second lag when u pull the trigger and the piston is released that sets the muzzle slightly off target.

    What others should know:

all in all i'm moderately happy with the gun. i will say that this thing has ended three woodchucks from 60 yards. hard impact at that range as well. if anyone else knows a good pellet to use in the 25cal model it'd be much appreciated. all in all this is a great gun. just a few small details to hash out n she'd be perfect. i'm happy with the sale

This is my first adult air rifle. I've hunted alot and I liked the feel of this rifle. It is adult sized.

    Things I would have changed:

The one thing most people say is the scope and the trigger. The trigger is a bit heavy but that can be adjusted abit according to the manual. The scope was zeroed-in easily but now appears abit off. So the jury is out on the scope. Time will tell.

    What others should know:

Overall I would give this rifle and scope combo a solid B or B+ rating. I do like the nitro piston power.

still not broken in the barrel but the accuracy is impressive in spite of the recoil. Sound is also high but possibly due to the low weight ammo and un-broken in piston and barrel. need to wait and see but still a great gun with lots of power.

    Things I would have changed:
