    Things I liked:

the most accurate air gun i have ever had! well worth the money! it is crazy quite, and at 25 yards i have no problem putting pellet on pellet with cheap cross man pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

    a bit heavy

    What others should know:

if you are into accuracy dont waste your money on cheaper guns! just save up and get this one. I tried everything from benjamin Nitro trail to XL and nothing comes close.

    Things I liked:

The gun is well built shoots well everything is working great the only thing that I would change is the stock I did buy an aftermarket lighter stock synthetic stock. It is rumored to be AN option in the future Crosman needs to go ahead and release the synthetic stock version.

    Things I would have changed:

    Offer the synthetic stock version.

    What others should know:

The 25 caliber really has a lot of knockdown power for Pellet gun and is accurate to quite long distances even though the bullet is going fairly slow.

    Things I liked:

Hard hitting and super accurate. It is also very quite.

    Things I would have changed:

Plastic mag.It wore out after a hundred rounds or so. Also wished it liked more pellets, only found two diffrent one it liked.JSB kings and uenjin 43.2

    What others should know:

I purchaced the .25 and it is a hard hitter.Had a hard time finding a suitable backstop. It also uses a lot of air,but i also cranked it all the way up and put a 10lbs hammer spring in.

    Things I liked:

Great value. It took me a while to decide which PCP rifle I was going to buy and decided that the Marauder offered the best value. The shrouded barrel is very effective at dampening the sound of this great rifle. When shoot inside it sounds like a loud hand clap. Shoot outside, it's slightly louder than the pellet hitting a piece of plywood.

    Things I would have changed:

This rifle is fairly heavy and the stock seems a bit too big but that's something that one can get used to. The Marauder does have a pinging sound when fired but can be dampened with a simple mod.

    What others should know:

My initial concern with buying my first PCP rifle were the reviews where people say how difficult it is to pressurize. It wasn't that bad. I bought a used AirForce pump and had no problems pressurizing to the max 3,000 psi. The initial fill took a while but it only takes a few deliberate pumps to top it off after 30 shots. I'm ~5'5", 135LBS There a several accessories that can be easily found for this rifle such as extended reservoirs and shroud extensions. There are also plenty of modifications people have done over the years.

    Things I liked:

Well" what can I say about the Marauder that has not been said? Quiet, Powerful, & Accurate! All True! Mine is not pellet fussy- It likes heavy pellets of any kind 16-21 grains... No problems with my rifle either; I've turned it up & down, no modifications to it, just shoot it! It is what it is- A good base priced PCP...!

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing at all... WITH THAT SAID LETS MOVE ON TO SOMETHING THAT IS NOT TALKED ABOUT ENOUGH..."AIR SUPPLY" I bought the rifle & pump combo- I must say that pumping from 0-3000psi almost gave me a heart attack! And shooting from 3000psi to 2000psi goes quick if your shooting heavy pellets with your Marauder turned up 1/2 to a full turn on the power adjustment setting. So you must get a reliable Air Supply to rally enjoy your shooting! There's no cheap solution, a Aluminum scuba tank is cheap enough; "new or used" but not high enough pressure to do any good in filling your rifle- Remember that pressure is more important than the Cubic Foot a tank holds!

    What others should know:

(continude from above) So what's out there? Many cheap used aluminum tanks that must be inspected and certified before filling, Carbon Fiber Tanks that are expensive, and Compressors which are more expensive! I bought a new Aluminum tank not know anything about them. Again new or used is not the issue Pressure is the issue simply put a 3000psi tank is not enough pressure! As soon as the pressure in your rifle equalizes with the pressure in your tank your done and back to the scuba shop you go; I had a guy who would fill my tank a little past 3000psi (most shops wont) this made a big difference in how much shooting I would get and how fast I'd run back to the shop to refill my tank. A 4500psi Steal tank is expensive New and hard to find used. The 4500psi Carbon Fiber Tank is the way to go! A 88 CUBIC FOOT, 4500PSI, CARBON FIBER TANK- WILL COST MORE THAN YOUR MARAUDER ITSELF! Small CFTs such as the guppy" are 4500psi rated and will serve you better than a 3000psi aluminum, 90 cubic foot tank. The guppy is about $400 bucks- ya see these additions ain't cheap! Buy a compressor is great if you've got the money the latest models cost about $1000 to get into. (Thats not a shop model) If you love this sport like I do and plan to shoot for years to come, A CARBON FIBER TANK IS THE WAY TO GO!

Very powerful very quiet This gun has twice the energy as my old school ten pump Benjamin 22 cal This gun is amazingly quiet This gun shoots holes through 9/16 inch thick plywood The trigger is very sensitive and grouping is tight

    Things I would have changed:

why charge for single shot tray i had to order separate why so much money for a small plastic accessory that everyone will want.the single shot tray should come with the rifle. Where are the 30.caliber marauder rifles sold pyramid air does not have 30 cal marauder

this is a awesome pellet rifle tremendous power Fully silenced get one before they are outlawed

    Things I liked:

The accuracy! I made one hole for the first two shots I took @ 25 yds. Still accurate to 1" @ 50 yds. Very quiet. I shoot all kinds of firearms, but i think this is my favorite! Ammo's cheap and available, little cleaning required, and potent enough for small game. Why

    Things I would have changed:

It's heavy. Thus far, only shot it from a bench. I'll take it to the field next week.

    What others should know:

Get 2pc scope rings. I mistakenly bought a 1 pc scope mount for ease and rigidity. It works, but don't recommend it.

    Things I liked:

This is only the 4th air gun I have owned but have been shooting them since the early 60's and this is my first PCP, and my first in .25 cal. I was very impressed with the quality of this gun and the flexibility of the power and trigger adjustments makes it exceptional. I wanted an air rifle for plinking and controlling pests in my garden and the accuracy of my current air rifle just wasn't consistent. I also have neighbors fairly close and was concerned about the noise. This rifle fit the bill perfectly. Right out of the box (and with an inexpensive scope I had laying around) I was shooting dime size groups using Benjamin Destroyer pellets at 25 yards. The rifle is also even quieter than I expected, the pellet hitting a paper target makes more noise than the rifle. I have put only about 250 pellets through this gun but so far I feel that for the money this has to be the best value out there.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    Things I liked:

Great gun for the price. Well made and functions as advertised. The .25 cal which I purchased is far more powerful than any of the .22 RWS 54 or the .20 RX-1. That .25 pellet makes one impressive hole in any target.Just look at the size of these pellets and compare them to the other two calibers mentioned above. This gun is accurate and fun to shoot - whether you are just plinking or hunting. This gun is quiet so you won't disturb you neighbors.

    Things I would have changed:

More shots per fill would be nice. Maybe an extra 8 shot clip made of metal.

    What others should know:

Keep in mind this caliber take a lot of air for each shot. I get around 16 shots per fill (2900 to 2100 psi)as per factory settings. The sweet spot for this gun seem to be around the 2600 to 2400 psi with the velocity around 860 fps with the JSB Exact Jumbo. I tried the HDD unit in this gun and it did not make any difference to the number of shots per fill or the consistence of the velocities with each shot. The HDD will make your gun less smooth in the cocking although I tried graphite lube to make it smooth as possible. If somebody had better luck with the HDD I sure would like to know. If you sight in for 40 yds and use a standard mil dot scope with JSB's you'll be within 1 inch from 10 yds to 40 and 4 dots low on 100 yds. The energy remaining for this 25 cal. at a 100 yds will be about 18 ft# which is what most high power non PCP's have at the muzzle. Great gun for the money - you won't be disappointed.

    Things I liked:

I love the fact that this air rifle doesn't feel like a toy, it actually feels like a real rifle and feels very well put together. Accuracy is great on this rifle normally you would have to pay $1,000+ for an airgun with this kind of accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

If it isn't broke don't fix it.

    What others should know:

If you don't have a scuba tank setup be prepared to get a work out from pumping this thing up.

    Things I liked:

Price for one and accuracy for the other. I must have gotten one of the best Ben had to offer. I have shot 10 shot 1 - 1 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards. Its not the barrel its the pellets that have thrown off my accuracy. Not sure I will ever get that again but I will surely try.

    Things I would have changed:

Send the right sized wrench to make hammer spring adjustments. The one that came with it was to small. Put lock tight on the bolt cocking screw as min loosens and needs to be tightened or cocking becomes difficult.

    What others should know:

For some reason before I degassed the gun I would get about 40 shots from 3000 psi to 2000 psi and after I only get about 30. Also the degassing tool got stuck and I had to really pull on it to get it out. The tool had a bard on it so i smoothed out the edge and it is fine now. Still a very nice pcp. I also recommend The Hill pump. Better quality and has a lifetime warranty. It also has a moister filter on it which the Ben pump does not have. Only down side to the pump is its almost $300 instead of $180.

    Things I liked:

Made in the USA. Good quality, good workmanship. Functions smooth, Easy on the pocket with the rewards of a much more expensive air gun.

    Things I would have changed:

nothing jumps out yet, maybe a little easier pump for us old guys.

    What others should know:

My 25 cal M-rod had become my go to gun for critters, replacing my trusted 22lr. Second trip out, I bagged a Ground Squirrel at 103yds. I'm looking forward for a pump that is a little easier to pump to full charge (3000 psi) as a compressor is not in the picture.

    Things I liked:

Out of the box my .25 caliber Marauder was exceptionally accurate. My trigger and power setting were spot on from the factory. Fit and finish is excellent and the weight is well balanced. I highly recommend getting Benjamin's carbon fiber tank for refilling the rifle. The Predator Polymag pellets were used to initially set up my scope and they proved to group very tight out to 55 yards. This is a great hunting rifle. While not a whisper when firing the .25 caliber is reasonably quiet and there is no recoil to speak of. This is just a great rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Offhand I can't think of a thing I would change on this gun except perhaps the overall weight. I'm not sure where Benjamin could make changes to create a lighter rifle. I'd hate to give up the wood stock.

    What others should know:

I highly recommend a good sling for field use. While well balanced it is not a light rifle. I was considering the .22 caliber Marauder. While I'm sure it's a fine gun as well for hunting purposes I feel the .25 caliber is the way to go. In the field I use a shooting stick, or a bipod depending on my hunting situation. This is a serious hunting rifle for furry critters up to raccoon size. I'm going to take it on a coyote hunt this spring. A well placed head shot should work. The rifle is accurate enough to pull it off.
