This is my first pcp rifle, and because I love this gun so much, I easily see myself purchasing several more pcp air rifles! I previously owned 2 break barrel rifles on the cheaper side, when I decided to give the Marauder a try. After sighting in the gun with less than 1 clip, I was hooked.I own the .22 version and the squirrels around my house that were terrorizing my attic, no longer exist!!!

I only wish it was easier to adjust the power, not that its hard to do, but having to remove the stock can be improved upon.

From now on I will only purchase pcp rifles. This gun made me a believer. For longer kill shots, your gonna have to adjust the velocity of the Marauder.

The packaging from PA is excellent, the accuracy, price. Action, barrel centering, baffle size, are all correct.

Not much. Well, we've all heard and know by now the stock finish is OK, but for the price...

This is the 2nd Marauder I've had. It seems that the first batches had problems with the right size baffles and the centering of the shroud on the barrel band thus giving some accuracy problems. This batch is accurate right out of the box. Quality is better. You will notice that the box do not say made in USA on the breech in the picture anymore. This is only due to some parts that are made over seas. But most of the gun is USA made and put together in the factory at Crossman/Benjamin. The barrel was a little dirty (from testing) But I cleaned it and left the factory settings, JSB RS are doing hole thru's at 30 yards, it looks like this one will be extremely accurate at longer ranges! So I guess they worked out all the small irregularities and I believe there tip top now. You can't get a better air gun for this price, the trigger, the quietness and the various tuning capabilities this Marauder offers.

The Marauder is top of the line in accuracy and noise level. So far the Marauder has shoot all pellet I have loaded accuracy.

Manual needs more infromation. (Storage, maintenance and storage pressure)

The accuracy of the Marauder is hard to believe. Out of the box,I put a Jumbo Monster in the bull, and then another right through the same hit. Makes you laugh out loud. Is it quiet? Again, you will not beleive that you are sending pellets downrange at 100 fps plus with a report that cannot be heard in the next room.

Less than 3/8 inch groups at 25 yards out of the box with the Discovery pellets. Not even broken in! JSB 18.13gr will pop a 1/4 inch red bullseye every time from 25 yds. Unbelievably quiet.

Pic/Weaver rails instead of 11mm. Better finish on pressure tube.

Get one! Pests no longer stand a chance. Bought the kit and the scope was even zero'd for the pellets that came with it. Astounded at the service.

I have several other models of varing caliber and the Marauder .25 is my first PCP. Believe me when I say "this rifle is INCREDIBLE". If you have others, they may go unused. It is everything a seasoned or novice airgun enthusiast could want. It is amazingly quiet (the only sound heard is that of the pellet hitting the target). I could barely tell if it fired since I was getting repeat hole shots at 50' (talk about accurate). If you want to fire it in the yard without disturbing the neighbors; THIS is the rifle for you!!The quality is great, well made and nicely balanced. It is also nice not having to continuously break and cock the rifle. With the .25, small game has "no chance". Best rifle for the money, and you'll thank yourself for getting one. Hits hard, very true, great trigger. You CANNOT go wrong with this beauty.

I'd like to be able to purchase a higher quality magazine; otherwise....nothing.

I would suggest getting a single shot tray for this model. The plastic magazine is somewhat "cheap" and with larger heavier pellets the spring often does not always advance all the pellets and jams are somewhat common. As you approach 2,000 psi with the hand pump, it becomes a bit tedious and strenuous to pump (a few breaks are suggested unless you're in great shape). I found it helpful to bolt the base of the pump to a 3/4'x1'x2' piece of plywood which sturdies the pump and makes it easier to control.

The packing of course, really well packaged. I am super happy that the barrel/shroud was properly placed, in the middle of the barrel band, as it should be. The accuracy was just beautiful! The action/bolt with magazine works perfectly. This is the second one in 22cal for me, I have an airgun that costs 4-times over this one, this beats the higher priced airgun in accuracy! Grant it does not have a walnut stock, but there are lots of AM stocks out there if a change is desired.And for the price of the M-Rod it is totally worth every penny.

Folks, I know a lot people tune these all over the place, I suggest you use it with factory settings 1st., find the pellet it likes to spit out, (remember each barrel is different), don't pay attention to what others use!! try 10-15 types of pellets, and you'll find a special pellet that probably has not been mentioned out there by the masses. Here's a new one, I haven't yet heard of for the Marauder, the JSB RS, believe you me, I was totally surprised too!!! I tried 13 types of pellets! It likes about 4 types of pellets, but the RS was one pellet hole width, as they say, pellet over pellet, obviously the very best in this gun! And this was at 25 yards, We'll see how it does at the 50 yard mark?? So remember find a light pellet, and a heavy pellet that your barrel likes, for different shooting situations, like windy days. If that task is completed, your home free with this air rifle. I highly recommend this one. Sweet spot for this one is 2700psi-1100psi. Hope this helps a tad, happy hunting!!:):)

Quiet beyond my imagination. The first shot i took I thought the gun was broken except for the hole in the target. I'm very happy with accuracy as well. I'm shooting a 4" steel plate at 120 meters no complaints from me.

JUST BUY IT! Save up your money and buy it. I promise you will not regret it! I was a springer guy before this don't was your time and money. I see no reason to ever buy another pellet gun. I also did the combo deal that pyramid offers well worth it and look for coupons I saved $120 at the end of purchase. That made me feel even better about purchase.

My Marauder is about a year and a half old. Shooting off a Harris Bipod at twenty five yards. I have gotten dime size groups. My Marauder is in 25 cal.

So good I just bought another 25 cal. My Marauder collection started with the 17 cal. It is so accurate, I bought a 25 cal. Then a P-ROD. All bought from the best airgun store in the America. PYRAMYDAIR

I really like the bolt action, it gives you that second shoot if needed.

Nice quiet weapon that has excellent kill power and accuracy. At 30 yds will go thru 1 side of a 30 gallon oil drum with jsb exact diablos. It will not penetrate with the heavy Eunjin pointed ammo as close as 20 yards. Velocity is too low with the heavy pellets even with full charge. Have had it operational now for 2 weeks and have gone thru 750 rounds. Lots of fun.

I would like an indicator to tell whether a round has been chambered. You can easily load 2 pellets without knowing.

When I charged to 3000psi using nitrogen the Benjamin destroyer pellets were pathetic as accuracy goes. About a 2 inch group at 25 yards. I switched to the jsb exact king diablo's and could put 8 shots in less than 1/2 inch, most thru the same hole.

Very nice shooting gun. Very quiet almost to quiet like it does not have any power. Shoots very accurately form 20 yards that is all the farther I have in my driveway. It is a fine gun and well worth the money.

The barrel shroud just seams a little flimsy. the magazines hard to load at first. Because pellets want to get stuck as you drop them in.I filled them down a little with a drill bit just enough to make it easier for pellets to drop in. I would like a faster way to reload magazines also.

Accurate, powerful, quiet, good trigger, no recoil, 8 round mag, raised cheek pad. A lot of people complain about the weight of this gun but I was actually surprised how light it was from what I was expecting. This gun seems fairly light to me but I guess I'm used to heavy shotguns and rifles.

Bland stock and bluing on shroud. The ONLY thing that I don't like about this gun. I'm sure there are other nicer stocks for this gun you can buy but to me its not a big deal.

Wow! I've owned a lot of pellet guns over the years but none have been as accurate or hard hitting as this beast! With JSB 18g EJH, AA 18g DFH & Beeman 14.66g FTS I get one hole less than dime size at 20 yards! When sighting in the gun I literally made a line straight up and down going below the bull to the bull as I adjusted my elevation. I used roughly a 1" board to put my targets on with the board leaning up against a shed. Well after a couple shots in the same hole the pellets went through the board and proceeded to go through the shed all the way into the wood in the back of the shed after hitting things inside!!! I could not believe what I saw. This was at 20 yards and all the other pellet guns I've had only made it about half way through the same board. Sighted in slightly high at 20 yards had a house sparrow in a flicker birdhouse sticking out the hole at 32 yards. Put crosshairs right on him pellet hit home and went completely through him and almost went through the back of the 1" thick wood of the birdhouse! Recovered him only to see the extreme damage that was created my lord this gun is powerful. I only fill mine to 2,500psi stock and have not messed with the power settings but then again why in earth would I want to? Safe to say I will probably never shoot another spring gun again. This is an incredible gun and no doubt it's expensive but if you have the cash put it on this puppy!

This is an excellent PCP for the money! Tons of fun, accurate enough to shoot 2" groups at 85 yards right out of the box (if you are careful) and very easy to shoot and maintain. Pretty quiet - probably lowest in the modestly priced, reasonably high power PCPs. And made in USA! If you haven't bought your first PCP yet, here it is.

This gun is a no-brainer in this price range, but there are some easy and inexpensive things that Crosman should fix in future releases. It's a shame that Crosman has not yet fixed the hammer bounce problem. There is an after market debouncer product and by simply installing the same product at manufacturing time it would take the gun to another level - easily worth a modest bump in price. They could also do a better job on the crown consistency to improve longer range accuracy. The trigger is very good for a rifle in this price range, but it could be a bit lighter. Again, for the money this is all knit picking.

The 22 cal shoots JSB Jumbo Heavy 18.1 gr at about 815 fps making about 27 fpe after dialing up the power just a bit. I tried about 10 other pellets that did very well at 30 and 50- yards, but the accuracy for the other pellets did not come close to the JSB heavies at the longer distances. 815 fps is about all you can get out of the gun without doing some work on it. Trying to get more just sprays air, increases noise and drops the accuracy and shot count. Out of the box it was shooting more like 770 fps with the JSB heavies which did not work well AT ALL for accuracy past about 70 yards. At 815 fps average (805 to 825 from 2500 PSI to 2200 PSI = 15 shots) you can get groups of about 0.5" to 0.75" at 50 yards and 2" to 2.5" at 100 yards if you are careful. A pure hold all the way through the shot is important at range. For comparison, to cut the 100 yard accuracy in half (on a good day) you are 3X to 4X the price. I ordered the hammer de-bounce and will install it this weekend and update my review afterwards. According to Ted's Holdover, the de-bouncer adds another 10-20 fps and about doubles the accurate shot count. Can't wait to try it because the gun is already fantastic for this level. I'm going to by the 25 cal too. If all you want to do is shoot 50 yards and under with less than 1" groups, you can shoot many different pellets right out of the box and get about 40 to 50 good shots per fill without any of the above hassles.

Everything, this is the best shooting air rifle I have ever shot and the magazine has worked flawlessly so far.

It would be nice if the magazine did not extend above the barrel. This makes it necessary to mount optics a little higher than I normally like but hey it sure don't affect the accuracy.

My father and I have both the .22 and the .25 caliber marauders and we have more fun shooting these than any of our other many guns.

Simply one of the best for the money!! From the trigger pull to accuracy the Marauder is a great pellet gun. Out of the box, scope mounted and sighted in, 10 rounds within 1/8 inch grouping at 20 yrds. Once I put the chrony on it, I was able to see why the Marauder was so accurate, very little StDev on the FPS. From 3000 psi to 2500 psi I had only a variance of .5FPS for 10 rounds.

this is a great rifle very easy to tune and mine likes alot of different pellets. I have got one hole groups at thirty five yards using crow mag and preditor pellets

I would like to see a metal magizine and a cheeper fill tank .carbon fiber tanks are about 675.00 new or you can get a used one for about 300.00.

great rifle much cheaper the some of the uk models and the thing just smacks the target it will shoot through a 3/4 inck piece of marine grade plywood.
