Raise the price, Like when tator tots first came out no one purchased...Cheap can't be good, right?

So much written already about this pistol. It is a direct copy of the German made design at fraction of the cost. Made in China so the quality control of the machined parts ,maybe "hit or miss". I have seen a You-Tube video of disassembly of a brand new pistol being "gone over". I did not do that, I will wait to see how it hold out, because seal grease and labor are cheap as dirt. It is modern wonder what China can make and market a quality items like this to the U.S at this price point. This horse has been beat death in reviews ( it has a great trigger, cocks a tad hard, has nice sights, quirky to load, feels good, we all know that by now) Shop local? Only place I could find was at PyramydAir and that's ok. I feel good to support the videos parts reviewsknowlege and the staff. I will just shop here from now on.

Price! Very accurate right out of the package. Nice size and weight. Good training pistol before someone shoots a centerfire pistol. The trigger is very light so watch it till you've shot it a few times. The sights are good also.

Remove the rail on top, it bothers when you cock the pistol since you have to push on it to close. Also an easier way to get a pellet in the barrel, but you do get better at that the more you do it. Pointed pellets work best for me.

Buy one. Some of the cheapest fun you can find.

Accuracy I'm no Olympic shooter, but the accuracy of this gun is outstanding. With it's preferred pellets (it likes more than one) I can get sub 1" groups at 10 yards off hand all day long with few flyers. When I stabilize my self against something, I can get .5" groups at 10 yards with a couple of the pellets. Reliable I have not had any malfunctions that weren't my fault. Likes Multiple Pellet Models I have shot 8 different pellet models through this gun and it likes all of them for the most part. Crosman Premier Match Grade, 3 flavors of H&N wads, JSB Match Middle, RWS Meister and R-10 all shot well. It really likes the JSB Match Middle, the Meister 7.0, theR-10 7.0, and the H&N Finale 7.87.

For $30, I can't say I would change much, though I might take the sharp edge off the scope rail. I have to shoot with a glove on my left hand to keep from tearing my hand up while cocking it.

Clean the barrel really well with some solvent before you shoot it. You wouldn't believe the oily junk I got out of there. Accuracy wasn't great until I cleaned the barrel. Also, watch the pin on the rear site as it tries to works its way loose over a shooting session. No big deal, just check it periodically and flush it back up.

It's a blast to shoot I totally love it I'm averaging 413fps and at 15 yards it stacks pellet on pellet amazing for 30 dollars you can't go wrong it has a really good trigger beeman knocked it out of the park

Price, quality and very accurate. A lot of fun to shoot and has the weight and feel of the real McCoy. Very consistent 425 FPS.

Hard to cock but it's a good safety feature for my grand sons.

Accurate, easy to pump (vs springer), powerful (for a single pump), low noise, low price.

Because of the demand I put on this gun the seals need to be replaced often

I was forced due to an injury to switch from right hand shooter to the left-hand. This gun allows me to economically fire over 100 rounds with good accuracy at every practice session. Although it slightly lighter than my conventional gun it has a good feel and is a tremendous asset in retraining me. It was so good that my son just began shooting a handgun and I gave him mine original P 17 for him to start learning. My only regret is that the one I gave him was an older model that was slightly heavier.

I have been waiting for a gun like this and for price of $30, how is anyone going to top it? By making it faster , by making it a .22, and a .25, and then entering into the rifles with the same technology. And I love the recoilless discharge.

The safety, is exactly what it says. It's not in an easy place for righties, therefore prevents accidental discharge. I would prefer a right hand safety release. In the future, when they increase the power, I would like to see it in a .22, a .25, and into the rifles, because it is recoilless.

It can't be overstated, I highly recommend it.

I recieved the Beeman P17 today and after unpacking it and doing a very through inspection. I took it out for a bit of a test run. I used the Gammo round lead balls for the first 5 shots and was very impressed with how accurate this little single shot is using open sights. The next round was using the H&N spike .177 pellets. Although they were just as accurate as the round balls were. (distance from me to target was 10 feet) The gammo lead balls seemed to hit much harder than the pellets. The gammo lead balls went about halfway thru a 1/2' piece of plywood wear as the pellets simply dented the plywood and fell to the ground. As to the power of the P17 I'm quite happy with it. This little gem meets all my expections and its far better than it should be for the price. I will be trying out a few different pellets with it to see if I can get a bit more out of it as far as hitting power goes. However for right now the Gammo round lead balls have my vote.

For single shot back yard plinker it can't be beat. I believe it would quite the deterent to rodents at close range. It is a very good value for the money.

$29.99 What! Can't go wrong, that's like free...almost. It's sturdy, accurate and the trigger is excellent, very light and smooth trigger out of the box. Feels good when aiming it, not too lite, not too heavy. It's a better looking gun in person, the photo doesn't do justice to this gun. If you want an inexpensive plinker, this is the it.

Nothing really for the price.

When I first got it, I though it would not take air in, but my fault. I just wasn't opening it all the way firm enough. I put on a Rubber Tactical Grip Sleeve for a nice tacticool look. Fun gun, accuracy and trigger is way above it's pay grade.

Trigger is the best you will feel on anything under $100 and this is $29.99. The accuracy is amazing, at 15 yds it was all in one hole. On moving targets its a blast to shoot. This is not a heavy pistol by any means.

I would change the safety location to be accessible with one hand. Others have stated the cocking effort is too hard. For a young one learning to shoot this will be too hard to cock but for an adult you should have no issue. The loading can be easier but once you get the technique down I can shoot a round every 5 seconds or so.

If you want a backyard/garage pistol...hell even a 10m air pistol this is a great tool to learn on and have some fun.

I love being able to sit down and plink with this pellet pistol for hours on end without having to change co2 cartridges or pump the gun more than once.

The front post sight is a little tall. My front sight broke so i cut it down to the bottom of the rings. Now it shoots more accurate.

Its a 10-15 yard gun. Not too accurate ,but if you find the right pellets it can shoot to 20 yards accurately. So far i've killed 2 squirrels and pest birds like small crows at 10 yards.

Looks and feels solid, but...

Loading magazine is a pain, bbs will not drop in unless you hold mag nearly vertical, which causes a big mess on the floor. First cartridge shot great.. next four leaked down after seal issue.

Expected better quality from Beeman, as I have several of their springers.

Pellet loading is a pain. A magazine on this one would be great.

This air gun shoots well, the trigger pull is decent and it feel good in my hand. You can't beat the performance for the price.

It does take some effort to cock it and loading a pellet is a little tricky, but not too bad.
