I could not be any happier with my purchase of my Ten Point Crossbow!! Went out today and shot a ten point whitetail with it! You guys are awesome!

Made some difference in terms of dampening the sound, not as significant as I had hoped but every little bit helps. Not as adjustable as I had expected. Arms are set back as far as possible and still makes contact with the cables, not adjustable for fit. Also, seems that the rubber covers sit just a little high for the cable but I have not noticed any impact on firing.

I was shooting my bow 80 yards with a 4 in pattern on my first day shooting it. Arrows flew straight.

Made in China?? Tried installing these and found the holes were the rods go in to be egg shaped or half machined. This is causing excessive up and down play and makes it difficult to get it lined up with the string slot. One of the rods needs to be sanded down, it's to long and touches the string. After contacting Tenpoint, to my surprise I was told there all like that." just tighten the set screws and they wont be sloppy"

EASY to install and my Invader X4 does seem to be quieter than without them

Not sure how many decibels quieter it is???? Can't really notice a difference. It does have less vibration. Easy to install. Took less than 5 minutes.

Overall a good product. I found the T15 torx wrench provided to be less than ideal (too small) for driving the self tapping screws. Fortunately I had a T15 bit that I used in my drill motor to easily install the screws. In addition, one of the dampener rods was too long causing the string to be deflected in the static position. A few seconds on the sanding disc resolved the issue. Haven't had an opportunity to shoot the bow so I can't speak to the effectiveness of the dampening system.

I just installed the new Wicked Ridge string dampening system on my wife and my crossbows, it was very easy and well thought out design. I have not shot my crossbow yet but the way the dampener installed I'm sure it will work like it's supposed to so if you want a string dampening system for your Wicked Ridge Invader X4 this is a very well made product that should help with string noise.
