I've had an Athlon Midas Tac on my DMR AR-15 platform for a few years...it's an incredible scope for the price point. I liked it so much, I bought another Midas Tac for my Bergara B-14R.

I like the sharpness and it's reliable. I use it for hunting prairie dogs (rats) and it's clarity makes it easy to see those far off rats.

My first impression was that this scope is just well built. Everything feels sturdy, which is just a big deal to me. The turrets are tactile, and smooth adjustments have just enough tension. The glass is crazy clear for the money. When I first got it and zoomed in, I could read license plates easily at more than 1000 yards. Edge to edge clarity is awesome and shooting in the 500-600 yard range just gets boring with this scope. The reticle is fine at lower magnification, but perfect at higher, which is perfect for ffp in my opinion. Holds zero, no POI shifts through adjustments, and low light gathering is incredible for long range hunting. I wish is that it was a little lighter, but hey, it's a well built long range scope. I also wish it came with a sunshade. Other than that, just about perfect, especially for the price.

Awesome scope with clear glass, and smooth adjustments. I put it on a 6.5 creedmore for hunting/target shooting and could not be happier.

Amazing quality for the price. I'm definitely a convert to Athlon. Glass quality is top notch. Loving it on my 22LR Long range build.

Have two of them and regularly shoot out to 1000. Can get a little blurred out at long distance with a setting sun...but even the big boys do sometimes. Exceptional for the money

I spent a few hours with the scope over the weekend. Got her dialed in and started testing the tracking, it was dead on every time. The fit and finish is flawless. The zero stop system is top notch. The turrets feel awesome. Crisp, clear image even after dusk. I honestly can't say enough good about this scope!

I've been issued lots of expensive glass mounted on expensive rifles and I have to say my Tikka 6.5cdm with the Athlon MIDAS is the best out of the box combination I've ever had. Never wanted a 6.5 as I've always been a .30cal kind of guy. Tikka is a great rifle but its full capability is hard to recognize without a great scope. This is it !!!! Radical box test on the scope and four 3 shot groups that most people will never get in their life. I'm ordering a 2nd one ASAP

Great scope. Clear glass all the way to 24 power and tracks really well.

These optics are a bit of a hidden gem, similar to how Vortex came on to the scene. Nobody knew the name, but everyone who owned the merchandise raved about it. These are fantastic optics, and worth every penny. If the manufacturer will stand behind their optics with incredible customer service, I believe we have a winner with Athlon!

For the price it's really good affordable package.

Good scope for the money. I have the 4-16x44, and the glass is a little better for me than my Vortex HST in the 4-16x44. The zero stop is easy to set and does not pass zero and doesnt involve shims to keep track of. Tracking seems spot on so far and I like the capped windage turret for a field application. I do find the eye box and parallax adjustment to be a bit more finicky than my HST, but overall great scope.

super product at this price point! great clarity at all but the highest level of zoom, where very slight cloudiness shows up. The super impressive thing is the accuracy of the tracking, it is absolutely spot on when turning in elevation or windage on the turrets!

Lite weight, firm audible clicks, easy to set elevation stop.

Reticle is useless at less than 8 X, TOO THIN. Defeats the purpose of having a First Focal Plane scope if you can't see the stadia to hold off. Does not stay in focus throughout Magnification range. At least at 10 M . Replace the coin slot elevation and windage turret rezero screws something that can be loosened with out tools.

If you want to use stadia to hold off go with a second focal plane.Wish I Had.
