Knobs and dials are smooth, glass is beyond clear. Excellent scope

The APRS6 reticle is good on the tiny group shooting paper and the long range steel. The glass is very good. Especially at this price point. Just really pretty good edge to edge and all magnifications. The turrets and parallax adjustment are tight and well made and seem spot on, so far.

Nice clear glass with crisp edges. I got the MOA model, the subtensions are right on the money. Turret adjustments are positive. Zero stop is super easy to set. Confirmed tracking and adjustment increments to 1200yd. Parallax adjustment is smooth and the marked yardages are very close. Performance is in line with optics well above its price point. I found no POI difference between magnification settings. All in all a great scope!

The 5-25 Midas TAC is a fantastic scope for competing in NRL22 matches. Image quality is great, especially with the responsive parallax and detailed reticle. Clicks are positive and the zero stop works great. I have no complaints about this scope.

Fantastic optics, incredibly clear glass, first focal plane, and a fantastic price. I have had no problems with losing zero after knocking the scope around on my way in or out of the woods.

Mounted this on a CZ Varmint Pro .22 Clarity is excellent. The adjustments are smooth and precise.

Easy to use as a target scope for long range 22rimfire shooting. Easy to see mirage, good parallax adjustment, finicky eyebox at 24, but at 20 its wonderful.

For the price this scope has and the features and quality I have observed, there are very few if any optics that can beat it dollar for dollar. The glass is very, very good, turret adjustments for elevation and windage are audible, crisp and tactile, side parallax adjustment is extremely convenient and accurate. As I am not a huge fan of the Xmas tree reticles, so I was extremely pleased with this scope being available with a milrad. I truly love this optic. I have been a Made in the USA guy for decades, so I was somewhat reticent about taking the plunge on a non USA built scope. I have no regrets. The scope is utilized in .22 rimfire distance shooting and has been a huge asset for me. Highly recommended.

I have used this scope on everything from a 22 to a 338 Lapua!! It tracks perfect every time, and I have made shots out to a mile on Steele and On animals out to 1000+ yards phenomenal scope

This scope is built to perfection, with plenty of elevation to get you passed 1000yds. The MOA Retical is perfect and is in FFP, and illuminated

This is a very high quality scope. I put it on a 22LR I plan on using for NRL22. The scope clicks are positive, easy to adjust and the reticle is crisp. This scope punches well above its weight class. Very happy.

Excellent glass glass and tracking. Repeatable zero. Side by side with Razor Gen II, hard to see any difference in glass to 18x. Small chromatic aberration at 20-24x. Eye relief good, eyebox forgiving. Mounted on 7mm rem mag, zeroed in 11 rds, then rang steel from 200 to 1223yrds. Immediately dialed back to zero (using zero stop on elevation and mechanical on wind age... three rds sub moa in bullseye at 100yds (zero target). Parallax nob a little tight, but manageable. Distances for parallax were on as marked. Solid product, Athlon!

Glass is extremely clear and has a ton of internal adjustment. None of the extra fancy nonsense that cost extra. If you are looking for a simple work horse scope this is the scope for you

This is my first experience with Athlon Optics. I own high end optics from several premium brands, but I decided to try an Athlon FFP scope to mount on a new 22 caliber PCP air rifle to simplify drops at longer distances. I may not have tried an Athlon if not for the pro pricing on ExpertVoice. I don't see a lot of difference in this scope and the Zeiss scopes I have on my 7mm and 6.5 CM rifles for the price difference. Turret adjustment and the scope's zero stop have been impressive. It is hard to find a FFP scope with an MOA reticle option. Most of my scopes are MOA and I don't want to go back and forth between MOA and MIL to avoid confusion. The scope is a little heavy, but not excessive for this size of scope. The only negative I can say so far, although I really like the reticle on higher settings(10x or greater), it is extremely fine on lower magnification. This can make it hard to see in low light situations or if your eyesight is not as strong as it once was.

This is just an initial review based on mounting the scope up to my rifle. (Howa 1500 7mm mag) The scope appears well made and the HD glass is extremely clear. The reticle is etched in the glass and also extremely clear. The turrets are smooth with good, positive stops. Obviously a trip to the range is in order for a better evaluation. All in all though, I am impressed with the out of the box quality.

I bought the Midas TAC 5-25x56 to go on a 6.5 Grendel build. I read and watched several reviews and everything was mostly positive. I was still a bit skeptical with the price point but decided if it didn't work for what I needed on the 6.5 I would just use it on my CZ-457 and would be super overkill. I have now been using the Midas TAC and all I can say is wow! Glass is clean and clear, MOA hash marks are easy to read and are spot on. There is more MOA adjustment than my SIG Tango6, everything tracks perfectly and the zero stop is easy to set and solid. I love that the windage is capped because I never touch my windage and normally only use holdover. My only issue is that on 25x the eye relief is pretty small but not really a big problem. I will be ordering another one shortly in a 30mm tube to use on my CZ.

I have used this scope on my NRL22 open rifle and it currently is sitting on a mid-to-long range 308. Very tactile turrets, nice reticle. Hard to beat a 5-25 zoom range optic!

Great value, great product. Very clear and crisp picture. Tracks true with no issues so far.
