This is my second pump and the quality of this one is excellent.It's a smooth easy to use pump,that comes with extra rebuild kits is a bonus.If you use a pump for your pcp gun this pump does make it alittle easier,I'm a fairly small guy (5" 2" and 145 pounds) but its no trouble getting my marauder to 3000 psi

The only thing at all might be that the pump will heat up alittle, but if you take your time and let it cool down every now and then it,s really no problem.

Robust, well made, does the job.

it is what it is, meaning compressing air at that pressure takes a lot of travel for a small amount of yield.

Had to use two wrenches to attach hose to pump, need to plan for final position of stainless tube portion of hose so it is not directed down below pump base but to the side or up when fully tightened.

NOTHING ; THE PUMP I ORDERED WAS JUNK. MADE IN CHINA AND IT LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN SOLD BEFORE AND RETURNED.

It's a terrible product with few redeeming features. I liked the idea of being able to pump to 4500 psi but I wish I would have just bought a scba tank instead.

Mine arrived broken and with missing pieces. The hose leaks and which is poor considering this is an hpa product. The instructions are terrible. The design is terrible and requires that you hunch over to use the pump which is a recipe for back pain. It would be worse if you are tall. I'm only 5' 10" . Mine doesn't stand up on it's own because the feet are bent upwards. I don't know if it is meant to be like that but either way, it's poor. Pyramid air should start doing some quality checks before they send out these pumps or use their weight to insist that the manufacturers do a little quality control. This is lazy and Pyramid Air's return policy is losing it's comfort. Too many items arrive broken for my taste.

You can buy a used 30 min or 45 min 4500 psi fire fighter tank with 5-10 years of service life left for $150 and an adapter to get air to you gun for $90. I bought this because I couldn't be bothered waiting for a hydro test. That was a mistake. I don't know if the air Venturi is worse than the other brands but judging by the reviews, I doubt it. I can't imagine anyone being happy with a pump long term.

The pressure meter exploded in oil mess. The pump never reach the 3000 psi level. Is a fake product.

Never buy this cheap product

The foldable legs are pretty cool. They make for easy transport/storage and, despite their anemic appearance, are robust. But the overall thing that makes this hand pump bad-ass is the 4500 PSI rating! I have a 90 ci carbon fiber tank that I intend on filling with the pump. It'll be slow going, but sometimes, I all the time in the world.

I may have to turn in my man card for this, but an instruction manual would be nice.

Go get one. And take advantage of the promo codes Pyramydair gives out in their emails. That's what tipped the scale for me in buying this pump.

This is a step up from the Benjamin pump for only $20 more... gauge is accurate, and hose is longer. I live at 8,000 feet where the air is thinner... it is like pumping up a car tire... not too bad, a bit of a workout but your muscles will develop and after a week it becomes easier. My Marauder .25 shoots 8 shots starting at 2900 psi and drops to 2400 psi, then I pump about 8 easy pumps to charge the hose, and then 35 harder pumps to get it back up to 2900 psi, and reload the 8 shot clip, and the rifle is ready to go again. This pump works so well that it would be pointless to buy a scuba tank, or any auxillary pressure tank unless you intended to shoot hundred rounds at a match.

Don't be afraid of the bad reviews talking about how hard it is to pump up the airgun... they must be really out of shape. Both this pump and my Marauder were well worth the money for my Prarrie Dog infestation... my rural neighbors can't hear the gun, and I don't have to worry about a .25 cal pellet going a half mile like a rimfire .22...

Quality look and feel. I like that I can pump my 90 Cu Inch tank to 4500 PSI (not easy but def. possible). Ability to quickly release air as compared to my other pump.

The grips are a little uncomfortable when you are really pushing hard..I put a rag over them after 4K PSI.

I wish I would have bought this pump first..should be the only pump I will need. Other pumps only go to 3600 or 4000 PSI..this one goes to 4,500 (at least). But you need to be a big person or a really strong person to get this all the way to 4500 PSI on bigger tanks.

the folding feet is a plus for storing, the pump works well, no problems, it pumped the walther dominator from 2700psi to 4500 psi in about 35-40 pumps, assembly was easy, just be careful not to cross thread the fittings and don't over tighten them.

The guage is in front so you can see it while you pump, comes with spare parts, Good length hose.

Make the hose more flexible so i can fill my rifle from the ground with out feeling like im putting it at to much of an angle.

I bought this for my Sumatra. This pump hooks up to the fill prob that comes with the rifle but the prob itself is a total joke! couldnt get mine to work at all. You must buy the Air Venturi Male Quickchange Adapter to put on the Sumatra than this pump works great. 2000 to 3000 takes me around 130 pumps. Im 5.9 170 lbs and this is no problem to pump.

Compact, looks well made, but pump failed to function properly.

Spend the extra money for a Hill Pump

At lease, the factory should have installed some connections to the pump body. The one I have, and tried to install the hose connection - because air kept leaking and I might have over tightened - the thread in the pump body stripped.

Get the Hill instead ( may be)

The pump body is made of soft metal. Watch out for stripping the thread when install the connection bolt.

It works very well so far and it was on sale for 179.00.

A larger, heavier footplate fastened securely on all pumps, not just this one. Come on, think about the physics for a second...

It's still a workout and a guaranteed backache to charge your gun.

Mine didn't work right from the start. Support doesn't exist on Saturday other than to set up a return. Very disappointed.

How easy it fills my gun not much effort at all, and it's fills fast.

solid built nice foot platform, the thing i liked most, the foster fitting fits my marauder, after recieving this pump i read the instructions and noticed they sent enough spare parts for several overhalls but not to worried yet i started on my new marauder at 600 psi and comenced to pumping, 50 pumps at a time and letting the pump cool and me take a brake 150 pumps later i was at 2000 psi not too bad for a 200 lb out of shape man, believe it or not i had a buddy of mine take over and took less than 50 more pumps to achieve 2800 psi. so there you have it , spend 600 bucks on a tank witch i will in the near future or for 200 sweat it out like we do and enjoy your pcp air guns, even after shooting a couple of clips through the marauder it doesnt take much to top the g6 off for some more fun.

once above 2000 psi take your time slow down and listen for the air to enter your gun at the down stroke. and another thing be sure to give the pump plenty of time to recover at top and bottom strokes to cool the pump and to cycle the air in the pump chaimbers

Pump is built very stout. Heavy. Seems like it will last a long time.

Pump does not come with very good instructions. I assembled mine by looking at the pictures. Assembly instructions are basically just a view of major pump parts. Illastrations are very small.

This pump is heavy and seems like it will last for many years. I am pretty new to PCP air guns and it too 117 pumps to get my Benjamin Discovery to 2000 psi. Pretty labor intensive just to shoot. Glad to have the pump but I must say pumping will be hard to do in the hunting blind.

Very good high quality pump that works good and gets the job done with a moderate level of effort.

The plastic bag containing rebuild parts was torn at the bottom and missing some parts. I called Stacy and told her about it on 02/17/15 she said they didn't have any spare parts at the time but she is working on getting me the parts.
