Take Advantage
If you love hunting with a crossbow and you’re looking for a way to take advantage of every drop of daylight given then you may want to read this blog and find out more about these optics.
When you dive into these optics manuals, one of the first things you’ll read is “The X-Factor is designed, engineered, and built to maximize the hunt!” Some would look at this optic and say “Nah, that minimizes the hunt and it’s cheating!” While others would say “If you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying!” Let me make something clear! I’m not here to take sides. One thing I know about people, (hunters included) we’re all different and that’s okay!
Not For Me!
If maximizing your hunt is to press your skill level, relying minimally or next to not at all, on any technology that’s okay! I’m confident you’re not the only one however, that doesn’t make you the only right hunter/hunters. I hope you’re not persuaded to change a thing and even share the sport with others in such a sense that they would enjoy it the same way you do. Know the word share is a kind and invitational word and not one of force and manipulation.
By now I’m sure you’re wondering what another hunter may consider maximizing their hunt means. Whether you take the Wicked Ridge Fury 410 De-Cock RangeMaster Crossbow or the Killer Instinct Lethal 405HD Crossbow there are visual limits.
With a traditional crossbow scope, at dusk and dawn it can be near impossible to see until well after legal shooting time and the intended game may have already made their way by. I’ve been in a situation where I could see the silhouette of a whitetail buck but couldn’t see the crosshairs good enough to take a confident shot. Of course, he lived to see another day.
Technology, Yes Or No?

The BUK OPS X-Factor Range Finding Crossbow Scope
- Range finding crossbow scope
- Picatinny mount
- Speed Dial FPS Reticle
- 20-100 yard reticle marks
- Green/Red reticle
- Automatic angle compensation
- 100 yard target range
- Up to 1,200 yard reflective range
- Batteries: 1 CR2 (not included); 1 CR1632 (not included)
The X-factor has a few advantages over a traditional crossbow scope, no need to guestimate the distance or carry an additional rangefinder! It’s built in and can range the animal by the push of a button, therefore giving you the ability to choose what aim point to use out of the 20-100 yard reticle marks.
No more, I see the animal but I can’t see my reticle because these have the illuminated red or green options. In addition it gives automatic angle compensation, a 1,200 yard reflective range, and finally in the case you need to make adjustments to your speed such as, change arrow weights, the scope is equipped with a Speed Dial FPS reticle.
If that’s not your idea of maximizing your hunt maybe this one is.
The Cycloptic-X Primetime Crossbow Scope

- 1.39″ HD viewfinder
- Manual focus

Primetime!
If you’re a hunter then you know what “Primetime” means. If not, it’s okay. Hey seasoned hunter, stop rolling your eyes, we all get to start somewhere. If you know something and someone else doesn’t don’t look down your nose at them, take the time to teach them, otherwise you’re the problem! Back to primetime! It’s the most active time for the game you’re hunting. Generally that’s dusk and dawn seeped in low light.
The Cycloptic-X Primetime is a digital optic that manipulates the light using it’s color vision for the hunters’ advantage, therefore extending your ability to see during the low light and most active time. Another way it maximized the hunt is through the video recording capabilities so your “fish” stories aren’t “fish” stories anymore!
That’s Okay!
Whatever maximizing the hunt means to you within legal means, I’m all for it! You hunt the way you hunt, I’ll hunt the way I hunt and I guarantee there will always be people who join in on both sides of the coin, and like I said earlier, THAT’S OKAY!
