The JTS Airacuda PCP Air Rifle is an attractive and functional airgun with desirable features and thoughtful design at an affordable price. Capable of reaching velocities of 920 FPS in .22 and 900 FPS in .25, it has the necessary power and accuracy for pest control, plinking, or small-game hunting.

An adjustable feature not typically seen at this price point is the power adjuster knob that lets shooters vary the power of each shot, which is helpful for customizing the performance for specific pellets and uses. This airgun uses a 10-round metal magazine and can get up to 40 shots per fill, so shooters spend more time shooting and less time filling and reloading.

The JTS Airacuda features a solid wood stock with laser-engraved checkering on the grip and forearm for a reliable hold, in addition to a textured rubber buttpad to enhance comfort and control. The end of the air reservoir has a male Foster quick-disconnect fill fitting for convenience, and the underside has an integrated manometer to help monitor the reservoir fill pressure.

In order to help achieve accurate shots, this air rifle includes an all-metal Picatinny optics rail to give solid support to a scope. In addition, the sidelever provides convenient operation, and the shrouded barrel results in shots that are quieter than otherwise expected.

To get a wood stock air gun with adjustable power for effective pest control, small-game hunting, and plinking for a budget-friendly price, buy a JTS Airacuda PCP Air Rifle from Pyramyd AIR today.

Things I liked:

The gun is awesome for the price you can’t ask for better

Things I would have changed:

Nothing it is a great gun

What others should know:

My pressure gauge was bad and pyramid air wanted me to send the gun back I found a gauge from a Friend and it worked it would be nice if pyramid air carried replacement parts

Things I liked:

Well built, accurate and quiet. A pleasure to shoot.

Things I would have changed:

Tripod and sling mounts.

What others should know:

I got the .25 specifically to tackle raccoons and it fits the bill. Not as much a gun for “plinking” unless you are sitting on air because you have 20 good shots; Which is fine because it this is more of a tool you dial in and bring out to check or do it’s job.

Things I liked:

Customer Service was great. Got My Order and everything was smooth. I mounted a Scope and went right to shooting it. Very Accurate! And Quiet right from the Start. I was shooting JTS 18.1 Pellets. They really flew great! Look at the other Budget PCP's. Look at the Flimsy unreliable Magazines. The reviews on many are receiving lower ratings for this reason. The JTS Mags are Metal! Have not had a failure yet. I have probably shot close to 600 pellets since I got it a week ago. Great Rifle!

Things I would have changed:

Make the Barrel a couple inches longer and instead of a Female 1/20 thread change it to a Male Version. I had to buy an adapter in order to put a Suppressor on it. So when you buy a suppressor, you have to spend an extra $50 for the adapter.

What others should know:

If one wants to shoot Crosman HP's to save money on pellets, just turn the power down to #3 when fully charged. Then when you get down to about 2000 PSI on the gauge, turn it back up to #4. At least that's what I have found with My Rifle. The 14.3 Pellets didn't work well at Higher Velocities. "At least in My Rifle. Get one and Have Fun! The Rifle is Wood, and Metal! No Tuppaware Plastic on it!

  • Perry from USA asked:

I have 3 Aircuda 2 Max and I Aircuda all three are backyard friendly, I have many expensive guns and I will take the Aircuda over all of them!!

    • JRG from USA answered:

seems like you are just happy, and it's not a question!

  • Michael from USA asked:

Is the regular .22 backyard quiet? Understand moderators causing issues reported on all airgun sites! Has the frame flex been fixed, I see adapters for stock being used? Credit card waiting...

    • Douglas from USA answered:

I have both caliberz in this airgun.im professional and have my own U Tube channel with good reviews. Haven't done one on this one yet but will get to it ASAP. This rifle has a power wheel for different power levels. I shoot mine on number 2 setting low and then #3 when pesting hunting etc. on these levels you can expect only a light ping from the power plant inside the action only and then a decent smack of the target your shooting. I would recommend shooting a soft target like wooden with a paper target attached on it etc. not a steel target. Homemade wooden. If you are concerned. They're as quiet as a high end rifle with the high end rifle having an expensive suppressor on! No joke. you'll be fine as long as you do the above mentioned. The #2 or 3 power wheel setting. These rifles are laser beam accurate and will shoot as good as an high end piece will out to 80 yards! I do pesting birds and other things with mine. It is a sub MOA rifle. On lower settings just use lighter pellets. Accuracy trumps out a mess of power every time! See the UK guys shoot on U Tube!. It's my kinda style. Professional. These rifles come with two all metal magazines no plastic junk! I recommend blue loc tite glue from Walmarts or whatever store put on the stock bolt wood stock to the action. It's near center underneath the rifle( stock bolt) only. It backs out when shooting but won't after glued. That's only thing about it. You do not need a suppressor! Check all bolts and screws go over them. Also check the male fill port filling plug where you fill it with air. Make sure it's screwed in good but not too real tight. .25 cal is quieter than .22 they come with a decent manual. Get the 10 for 10 testing with you're purchase from P.A it helps a lot for working properly and your new purchase will come with testing papers on the rifle! It helps.Hope this helps! I don't think you'll be disappointed! Try one. Ed Snippin Man UTube channel here signing out. Piece!

    • Matthew from USA answered:

Depends on your neighbors probably. I live in a suburb 40'x90' back yard. I shoot into a trap almost daily and have never had an issue. My unscientific guess is the pellet smacking the trap makes more noise than the rifle.

    • Derrick from USA answered:

It’s definitely backyard friendly. I also was concerned about the noise level but after shooting this .22cal, I won’t be needing a moderator at all.

  • Don from USA asked:

How many magazines are included with this rifle? I heard some say two, but couldn't find this in the specs.

    • Douglas from USA answered:

This is Ed Snippin Man UTube channel here. They're supposed to come with two! Both mine came with two in the factory box! Try one, I don't think you'll be disappointed! The magazines are all metal easy to load! No plastic junk! Hope this helps.

    • Russel from USA answered:

      Two came with mine.

    • Adam from USA answered:

      One.
