The Hawke Vantage 30 WA 6-24x50 IR SF 10x Half Mil Scope utilizes the H2 optics system, featuring clear and bright 11 layer fully multi-coated lenses that provide a wide field of view and 3.5" eye relief. The Vantage performs well even in low light because of its reticle with multiple levels of red or green illumination, and uses a 30mm aluminum mono-tube and a 50mm objective lens.
The exposed locking turrets adjust for windage and elevation in a range of 20 MRAD, using 1/10 MRAD clicks, and the scope features a fast focus eyebell. The lenses yield an excellent sight picture even in adverse weather and lighting situations and are waterproof, shockproof, fog proof, and nitrogen purged.
The second focal plane (SFP) half mil reticle features a fully floating reticle and etched glass, with features that make rangefinding easy. It has accurate spacing at the 10x magnification setting, with dots that are .75 MOA (approximately .22 mil) in diameter and hashes that are 1 MOA (approximately .3 mil) wide every .5 mil. Starting at 5 mil, there are hollow posts that are .5 mil wide with segments 1 mil long, and the first segment is divided into .2 mil sections to facilitate determining the range to objects.

Things I would have changed:Nice to have a darker reticle
What others should know:Bought this scope in March 2023 never used it. Went to sight in on my Seneca recluse 357 and the elevation will not track. Yes my fault for not trying it sooner. But should still work!!
