Like many FX airgun models, the Crown series can be changed to suit the user in a wide variety of ways. One of the most appealing is their ability to quickly and easily switch between various calibers. These Caliber Change Kits allow you to do just that! If you bought a Crown in .22 caliber, and now you want a .30 caliber gun, all you need is the Caliber Change Kit and a magazine (sold separately.) No longer do you need multiple guns to accomplish your airgunning goals. One gun and a few of these kits are all you need!
The Superlight STX barrel upgrade, which weighs in around a half-pound lighter than the original STX barrels, uses a newly engineered and imagined barrel housing to hold the STX liner. The liner is no longer housed in a long steel tube, but rather is now placed in a very sturdy barrel attachment section that results in a more rigid barrel. Including an STX barrel liner, shroud and pellet probe, these Caliber-Change Kits are easy to install by the end-user. They do require some alterations to your rifles settings, but this can be easily achieved thanks to the various external power adjustments that are standard on the Crown series.

Shoots very accurate with heavy pellets. shoots lite pellets ok also. Have a bunch of 177 cal pellets but using this barrel with the crown those tins will dwindle soon. Got me back to shooting 177 cal again and also holds its own against my Kral pitbull in accuracy and shot count.
Things I would have changed:Other than the cost to add on extras, nothing
What others should know:You will have to adjust your port and turn the power wheel down. I was getting super sonic with 9 and 10 grain pellets (1110 fps). At 1000 fps I get good accuracy with this barrel. Shoots all types of pellets including the JSB 16 grains and the Rabbit Magnums. One other thing is the barrel only has a (P) side and no (S) side. Make sure you line the barrel up and make sure it goes all the way down, otherwise pellets will hang up in the barrel and you will have to re-move barrel and use a cleaning rod to push them out which is a pain. Overall I would recommend buying the barrel instead of another gun in 177 cal.
