This kit enhances the base air rifle by adding a CenterPoint 4-16x40 AO Rifle Scope with 1" tube and illuminated TAG-style reticle and Picatinny rings, in addition to a Benjamin Premium Air Rifle Sling with two swivels. It's ideal for hunting and pesting because of the combination of the sling's portability, the scope's accuracy, and the air rifle's rapid follow-up shots.
The Benjamin Marauder Semi-Auto PCP Air Rifle with synthetic stock is an eagerly-awaited additional option for the well-received SAM, the semi-automatic version of their top-of-the-line air rifle. It's designed from Benjamin's popular Field and Target platform, and although it bears a strong resemblance to the classic Marauder airguns, it has a brand new interior with enhanced parts that enable semi-auto functionality.
This new version features a synthetic stock that weighs less than the hardwood stock version, while maintaining the same reliable operation and features. The air rifle's 10-shot magazine was designed with the goal of nearly consistently avoiding jams, and it includes a regulator that yields stable velocities across large shot strings, plus a hammer spring screw that adjusts the power level.
Testing reveals that the average shooter can expect a cyclic rate of about 300 rounds per minute, depending on how fast they can pull the trigger, which makes for fast follow-up shots. The air rifle comes set from the factory at a power level that yields about 50-60 shots at approximately 900 FPS and 22 FPE, but is capable of 30-40 shots at up to 950 FPS and 28 FPE at maximum power.
The fully-shrouded barrel produces shots that are quieter than expected, and the rubber recoil pad provides a comfortable hold. The Picatinny optics rail easily accommodates a scope, and the adjustable trigger aids accuracy.

I recently received my BN SAM PCP rifle. Out of the box endless problems with magazines getting ruined from the hammer hitting them wrong. I have 5 clips/magazines all 5 ruined in less than 24hrs Endless jams. Very disappointing. Trying to return this thing now and get something that works. Looks like hammer hits on top of the hole instead of square in it Sometimes almost impossible to pull back and cock it.
Things I would have changed:Metal clips, better quality control . A video of instructions from the makers maybe a qr code on their very tiny basic 3 page manual.
What others should know:Clips load weird and many of the how to (you tube) videos dont apply to this model .
