Even though they are slugs, need more per container. 125 at least up to 150 or reduce the price.

Haven't had a chance to shoot any game with them but just from shooting them at targets and seeing the exit hole they make/leave, I'm sure deer won't stand a chance. At 55 yrds they grouped great and my avg fps was 920. I will buy these in 4 pks so that way 1 pk is free. Helps make up for the price. I'm not really a slug shooter, just wanted to try them and I would suggest them to air gunners if you plan to shoot slugs.

Not much. My first shot out of a 20 shot group was a 12 o'clock center. After that they were totally inconsistent. At 25 yards from a bench rest, 16 grouped to 2 inches. Three shots were bad flyers 4 inches off center. One really bad flyer at 5 inches off center.

FX needs to test and tune their ammo in their rifles. My owners manual says they test with JSB and my experience with JSB in my FX rifle is excellent. However, it speaks volumes when you support your competitor's product over your own and my test above makes you want to scratch your head.

The packaging is nice and you would think it would keep the slugs in perfect shape. Not so much, I could tell by looking at them that they weren't all perfect. That may account for the flyers I had. However, for a hunting slug in an air rifle there needs to be a confidence and consistency level. I would never take these slugs into the field because 5 inches could either be a total miss or an injuring shot that does not totally dispatch the game. 5 inches... Sorry.

This is a great slug that works great in my Impact. It fits with no problems. It has allot of knock down power. The expansion of the slug helps to knock down any game you are shooting.

They cycle well outta the magazine. I'm in love! I won't use anything else in this rifle.

This is the most accurate slug out of my 700mm .30 Impact M3, and I tried 13 different slugs in the 44 to 54gr range from all the major manufacturers. The FX slugs have all been in good condition with almost no rejects to date. They are right around 1MOA out to 200 yards for me.

If you factor in the Pyramyd buy 3 get 1 free pricing, these are the second cheapest .30 slugs out there and only slightly more expensive than the cheapest options. If you have an FX, try a pack of these first so you know if you are wasting time with other slugs. My M3 is stock (no slug power kit add-ons) and I'm shooting them in the (current) standard 1:22 superior barrel. Final reg at 150 bar, hammer setting at 4.5 minus 3 clicks on the micro adjuster, valve wide open, speed 957 fps. They could potentially tighten up even more at higher speeds but I don't want to go higher on the reg and lose shot count. Also, if you are shooting a .30 FX, you need to know what twist rate your barrel is. FX has changed the twist rates on .30 superior barrels a few times so you can't just go by name, you need to measure it.

Overall nice slug. They come in a nice individual holder.

Yeah a little expensive.

Not has accurate as standard domed style pellets. But I have had confirmed dispatches of rock chucks out to 80 yards with my FX Crown MK II.

My experience is bad, they are too small to use in a Hatsan MOD130QE - they slide right down the barrel and even when I was careful they weren't accurate and caused a lot of smoke. Might be good for PCP gun with tighter barrel...

They are accurate...They hit very very hard...much harder than my JSB Match 44.75grn pellets. I like that because they are a Hybrid Slug, I don't have to change my pellet barrel to a slug barrel... once I get the new data on these slugs, from my FX Radar, I just enter the data into my Strelox Pro ballistic app, it's easy peasy, and then I can go back and forth from pellets to slugs and visa- versa!

At this price point for only 100, I would have thought they would have been a little cleaner in the hollow point...I am finding lead debris and filings inside!

I ordered 8 boxes, and only one slug was damaged flat at the tip... I like the box they come in keeping each one separate helping in damage control. They are definitely more stable over 100-150 yards with a 7-10 MPH wind. I have an FX Impact MKII .30cal with a 700mm barrel shooting at 905 fps. Make sure that you have a safe backstop as these pellets (like most pellets) will go straight through your quarry and ricochet off at an angle! I have taken 64-87 yards headshots on Coyote, Crows, squirrels, and pigeons and they are all pass-throughs!

Price is something that we all like to see improve. But realistically a light and heavy version of each of their hybrid pellets would be nice.

I have only used these in PCP type air guns and don't know what springers would do.
