Larger Co2 attachment option like a but stock,would make a great carbine

pretty light weight.very easy to use.fairly well built.fairly accurate.co2 lasts alot longer than i expected.puts a smile on everyones face that has shot it.a very nice bb gun for the price, money well spent.the 2 button release for the co2 is a very nice feature.

would have liked it to shoot more than 6 bb's on burst.

seeing that it is co2, accuracy and overall performance is at best in the beginning thru half of new cartriges,after that accuracy diminishes pretty quick,but alot of that has to do with the ambient temp.70-80 degrees is best,cooler than that you seem to get the problems i have mentioned earlier.be prepared to go thru alot of bb's because this gun is alot of fun to shoot!

This is an update on my 2nd Steel Storm. It gave up the ghost yesterday. I was so dissappionted. This gun was so fun to shoot.

Obviously there are a few bugs still to be worked out of this particular product. If anyone knows what the problem is, please tell me. It did the same thing this time as last. It will fire once, remain cocked but will not fire again. I hope to discover it is something simple. If anyone knows of this problem please contact me. Either make a note on this review or thru Facebook (William Davis in Irving Texas).

I value reliability a great deal because I shoot so much. My first Steel Storm lasted for, I am sure 20-30,000 shots. This second one, not near as many. If I ever have reason to believe Umarex gets the bugs out I will RUSH to the Pyramyd site for another one.

This airgun is awsome!!! Real fun to shoot and very accurate with red dot and laser. Prepare to have extra bb's and CO2 as you will go through them quickly in burst mode. I have been getting 5 magazines (150 shots) in single fire mode and 10 magazines (300 shots) in burst mode with each pair of CO2 cartridges. Use Crosman Pellgun oil on every CO2 cartridge. Be careful not to accidentily hit the CO2 release button and waste air.

The six shot burst is guite neat.

The gun is a bit large but fun to shoot. I wish the gun fed from the 300 round hopper instead of the 30 round magazine. The magazine does not fill very easily. It takes a lot of shaking to get the BB's to go in from the hopper.

I suspect many of the people who have had seal problems shoot the gun too fast. At excessive fire rates the expanding CO2 is probably freezing the o rings causing them to deteriorate rapidly. I have found the accuracy to be fine for a BB gun. You just have to hold back and not fire too fast and freeze the O-rings. I also put pelgun oil on the CO2 cartridges before inserting them to keep the O-rings supple.

I like almost everything about this pistol,except for the sights (please see the anything else part),they seem to be just stuck on the gun for really no reason,absolutely useless. Other wise,this thing is awesome. I am 60 years old,and I will freely admit that I love this "BB" gun!.

The sights. One more thing,I would change it to real full auto,the 6 round burst is great,but,this gun is advertised as "FULL AUTO',it is not,it is limited to the 6 round burst mode or single shot Semi-auto.

As I also own one of the outstanding Crosman M4-177 rifles,and I was not using the picatinny sight system,that rifle has a nice scope instead of iron sights,I decided to try the M-4 sights on this pistol,results?,they not only look killer,but I now have fully adjustable sights on my Umarex!. The sight system works beautifuly on this pistol.Try it,you will love the result!.

I purchased this on a whim and decided it was a lot of fun. I have never owned a bb gun that had a burst option and it is a lot of fun. It seems to be pretty accurate. I love it enough that I have purchased other guns from umarex to feed the addiction.

I would love is this thing had a larger air supply or the ability to use a larger air supply. That's why purchasing the bulk air system from this site has become top priority for upgrading my storm.

This thing is great. I am not an expert but I can say this thing does everything I possibly could want it to do for the price range it is in.

This gun is a really great one for the price , coolest bb gun i think ever created.

More accurate than I expected in the 20 ft range. Very fun to shoot. Everyone I've let shoot the thing starts giggling.

Bigger CO2 supply. You're just getting started and you're done. I'm definitely looking into a paintball tank adaptor.

BBs bounce! I've had more ricochets than I care to experience. Accuracy starts dropping off quickly as you deplete your CO2 pressure. After 100 shots on a CO2 load the accuracy starts falling off quickly. After 1000 shots so far I've had no leaking or other negative experiences.

This thing is by far the most fun back yard plinking gun I've ever gotten my hands on! The accuracy is much better than I expected- It's been a bad time to be an empty can around my place ever since the Steel Storm arrived!

This gun is a lot louder than I expected it to be, but it's not a detriment in any way. The only changes I would make are aesthetic. A barrel extension/dummy suppressor would look really cool and some kind of a skeleton stock that attached to the rail would be a nice addition- However, stealth and precision shooting was probably not on the designer's mind...

Buy lots of CO2 and bb's- And make sure you have plenty of targets lined up- It's really easy to go through a box of 15 powerlets in a hurry... It's just that much fun to shoot! Everyone who sees this thing in action wants to try it out- Even my neighbor's wife who says she doesn't like guns thought it was a blast!

The price, the 6 shot burst, the tactical rails, the power, the many mods that can be done and it's super accurate for a smooth bore BB Gun!

I would make the seals better for the CO2 because they tend to start leaking pretty easy so you don't want to store a CO2 cartridge in it for very long. I would also make it more metal because it feels very toyish because of the plastic and last but not least, I would give it a folding stock

This SMG is tons of fun! Out of 2 fresh CO2 cartridges, you get 300 rounds of BB's through this thing when firing in 6 shot burst. I don't know in single shot, because when I'm shooting it, I get tired of single shot real fast. Also my gun has malfunctioned and turned in to fully auto on it's own with no mods done, but I'm not complaining, because that made it even more fun!

Better quality control on the co2 magazine. Mine leaks when I first recieved it. This seem to be a common problem with this gun. After contacting Umarex and got a new magazine. It works perfectly.

Better get lots of bb and co2 for this gun because you can go through them in no time. Mine can get 215 strong shot per 2 co2 canisters.
