    Things I liked:

I don't have the .25 origin yet. I do have the .22. I think it would be the bees knee if umarex made these in a Bullpup model like the AV Avenger. after all they share similer dimensions. I would buy one in a heart beat

    Things I would have changed:

    Make a Bullpup!

    Things I liked:

I have the Umarex Origin in both .22 and now .25 cal, they are my first venture into PCP shooting. I really like the shot count, I fill to 3500 psi and stop at 2000 psi. I'm getting 50 shots with the .22 , I have five magazines and it works out perfect! With the .25 caliber I easily get 24 shots (three magazines) at the same pressure range. I started with a hand pump and it took about 100-110 pumps to fill from 2000 psi to 3500 psi, pretty easy to fill ! I now have a knock off electric pump and it does the hard work and in the 3-4 minutes it takes to fill I have reloaded the magazines and am ready to go again!

    Things I would have changed:

The plastic cover on the stock for the fill port will tear off immediately and is hard to get back in place, I took an exacto blade and chamfered the edges of the holes in the stock and this helps.

    What others should know:

The .25 caIiber received had a low shot count, I was only getting 14-15 shots max from 3500 psi to zero! It was also filling much quicker than my .22 caliber. I suspect the "ever pressure" piston was stuck.
PA offered to take it back but I went directly to Umarex for the repair. Custom service was excellent with both Pyramyde Air and Umarex!
About two weeks later I had a replacement .25 caliber Origin and it has been flawless.

    Things I liked:

This rifle has become one of my favorites because of accuracy and light weight. It is not regulated. However, it has a feature that is usually only found on regulated guns (see Avenger) - an adjustable bolt. I use air guns at short distance target shooting in my backyard. Since I don't need much power, I adjusted the bolt to minimize the air released per shot. Since the gun has a max fill of 3625 PSI, you can get a lot of shots per fill and a quieter gun in the process. It is worth the money.

    Things I liked:

I like everything about this rifle. The stock is ergonomic and nice, the accuracy is fantastic and it has been dependable after 1.5yrs of use. I have had zero issues with the hand pump even though I do realize some have. I think it is very unfair for some to have given such a low rating based on the pump when this rating should be about the rifle. This really is a solid 4 star rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing, it has been flawless.

    What others should know:

You won't find a more accurate rifle in this price range.

    Things I liked:

Well, I may just be lucky but I am lovin this rifle & pump combo. Yes, you have to get a technique that works for you when using the pump, and yes, you have to maintain the pump per instructions but the darn thing works well. The rifle is amazing in that with relatively few pumps you can charge her up from 1500 to 3000 psi and get about 25 shots that are well placed and consistent. Bein an ole man (72) I need to rest intermittently when pumping but DANG BOY, SHE IS A SHOOTER. I have had no issues with the magazine- works well as advertised. Now, all that being said, keep in mind that this is my first PCP rifle. While experienced with springers and gas piston break barrels (really enjoy my .30 Hatsan Vortex) I was quite hesitant to venture into the PCP realm. Been fun and especially cool for quiet shooting but I admit that other than having a new experience with light weight quiet pellets I am at a loss to any advantage over a quality .22LR. Always fun to try new things though.

    Things I would have changed:

The rifle is surprisingly light, and therefore a bit difficult for me to hold steady being used to a more substantial feel, but shooting off a rest this becomes a non-issue. A single shot tray would be appreciated, as would sling swivels but not a big deal.

    What others should know:

If you are thinking of venturing into the world a PCP I can not think of a better purchase. What can I tell you? ITS A GAS ! ;-)

First pcp and it's everything I was told it was. I have other high end pcps now and l still like shooting my origin.

    Things I would have changed:

    Sling studs would be nice.

    What others should know:

If you want a great, little pcp that works like a champ- it's accurate to, get the origin.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine and loading design is terrible. Jams several times per magazine until I now have a jam I cannot clear less than 1 month after purchase. I now own a $400 paper weight.

    What others should know:

Avoid anything with this magazine design until improved.

    Things I liked:

I'm loving this rifle. The EPS system is working hard. I'm up in Alaska and it is winter. I have had this rifle out in -20 temps. I only loose 500psi in these temps. No change in POI. I'm running Crossman Premier Domed 14.3gr at around 940 to 950 FPS muzzle velocity. Shot to shot this rifle shoots with an average 2 fps deviation.

    Things I would have changed:

I would love to see this chambered in .25

    What others should know:

Buy this with the hand air pump. I already had one so I only bought the rifle.

Would have liked it to work out of the box.

    What others should know:

Get the 10 for 10. I had a lemon. The pump didnt work. Borrowed a pump, and the gun only went to 2300 psi before blowing steam. It was louder than a firearm. Pumped it up again and it blew steam at 2100 psi. If it had worked, and was backyard friendly, I would have kept it.

I liked this rifle. Loved the stock. A great weight. Easy to shoulder and sight. I was also attracted to the kit as a whole.

    Things I would have changed:

If it worked out of the box, I would change nothing. Maybe, open sights.

    What others should know:

Get the 10 for 10 before buying this. I got a lemon. The pump didn't work. I had a friend lend me a pump, and the rifle would only pump to 2600 psi before the safety valve blew. Shot it, and it was loud Not backyard friendly. Could be that it wasnt working right. If it had worked, and it was quieter, I would have ordered another one. Instead, I bought a Fortitude (with the 10 for 10) and a pump. Everything I wanted and cheaper.

    Things I liked:

    1. Accuracy of 5/8" to 7/8" 5 shot groups @ 50 yards and 1/4" to 3/8" groups @ 25 yards with a wide variety of pellets 2. Extremely light 3. Side cocking lever and magazine fed 4. Externally adjustable hammer spring 5. Hand pump friendly if you can call hand pumping friendly--1400 to 3600 PSI 140 pumps 6. Ever Pressure Tank (EPT) System works well and really does what Umarex advertises it to do. 7. Unlike other non-regulated guns, the velocity only increases as the reservoir pressure decreases to about 1400 PSI.

    Things I would have changed:

    1. Like many other reviews, I would like to have sling mounts. 2. Can't change the very gradual velocity increase throughout the shot string, but this can be compensated for. Used lighter pellets at higher pressure and heavier ones as the hammer spring let out more air as the reservoir pressure decreased. 3. It's a little loud, but I've asked all my neighbors if it bothered them and no one really noticed the noise. 4. Many of the negative reviews were due primarily to the defective kit pumps which should not have discredited this gun.

    What others should know:

When everyone was out of stock, I found a "refurbished" mint-grade gun online that did not include the pump and it did not disappoint. Factory hammer spring setting was -1.5 turns off max and pushed the velocity too high for my taste yielding a shot string of 45 shots from max 3600 PSI. I backed the hammer spring -3 turns off max and got 66 shots instead with a flatter shot string using varying weight pellets: JSB 13.4 from 3500 to 3400 PSI (Avg 874'/s), Crosman 14.3 HP 3400 to 2800 (Avg 872'/s), JSB 15.89 from 2800 to 2200 (Avg 878'/s), JSB 18.13 from 2200 to 1600 (Avg 875'/s = 31 Ft Lbs muzzle energy). At 25 and 50 yards all these pellets hit in the same spot which did not necessitate my having to re-zero my scope for each pellet. The EPT system does seem to settle in after a few hundred rounds, but performed well straight out of the box anyway.
I'm very pleased with this gun so I highly recommend it. Your results may vary from mine so keep tuning to get your best results.

    Things I liked:

The Umarex Origin is a very great rifle for the price and the quality is great easy loading and very smooth shooting and very accurate I'm shooting 18.3 grain pellets out to 35 yards only because I don't have enough room in my backyard and I'm shooting 21.0 grain slugs almost one on top of the other I added an adapter from Donnyfl along with a suppressor all you can hear are the mechanics of the rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing that I would change is not having to deal with a probe

I liked the looks of this rifle. Also, liked the way it felt bringing when bringing it to my shoulder.

    Things I would have changed:

Would have liked it better if the rifle and the pump worked.

    What others should know:

If you buy this, get the 10 for 10. I liked the way the rifle looked and felt. I just got a lemon. The pump didn't work. I have a friend who lent me his pump, It filled the rifle. But the rifle wouldn't pump higher than 2500 psi before the relief valve opened. And, the rifle was loud when shot. Not backyard friendly. Could be that the rifle was malfunctioning. Tried pumping it up a second time. That time the relief valve wouldn't let the rifle be pumped beyond 2000 psi. Sent it back, and ordered a Benjamin Fortitude with the 10 for 10. I would have gotten another Origin if I thought the gun could be used in my back yard. So, again, I would recommend 10 for 10 when buying.

Very accurate rifle no problem shooting hole in hole out to 30 yards and that is using 18.3 grain pellets and it's shooting HN 21.0 grain slugs the same.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice to have studs for a sling.

    What others should know:

Just so everyone knows yes I had a problem with the pump after filling the rifle 3 times but once I took the pump apart and checked the seals which were good I noticed that it lacked enough lubrication and once took care of that the pump has worked great I have another PCP rifle that I'm also using it for and filled both over a dozen times.
