Accurate and pretty much a dead on replica of the Glock 17. Very accurate , shooting pretty much to point of aim with tight groups.
Things I would have changed:An absolute disgrace for Umarex to offer this in a blister pack. I threw mine out and placed the pistol in a Glock hard case. These are found on eBay for $15 shipped. A decent box would add even less to the price. I would have preferred a blowback Glock 19, and Umarex is negligent if they dont offer a model 26 or 43
What others should know:Right now for becoming familiar with a Glock pistol or using an air pistol for understudy practice, this is as good as it gets

Good finish and looks and feels somewhat like the real one
Things I would have changed:If you pull the trigger slowly like you do in marksman shooting the pellet comes rolling out of the barrel which is embarrassing! Jams up a lot. Looks good but functionality is a disaster! Accuracy very low. I was hoping to use it for practising target shooting but it does not work for that.

I like the look of this pistol, It is very close to the original G17.
Things I would have changed:The trigger was ridiculously hard, If the manufacturer would polish the sear just a little it would make for a nice trigger.. I'm no worried about the warranty so I made my own modifications by polishing the sear to my liking and also lowered the rear sight hight and alignment so I can get that perfect shot on the red center of my target.. I don't suggest you do this yourself, I do my own Gunsmithing so I know what needs to be done.
What others should know:The pistol works functions great with minor modifications...
CO2's last about 4 mags full and the cylinder loading is awesome as opposed to others, the BB's load up nicely but individually, none speed loading..

At first the gun worked great but I’m my second time putting in co2 and using it many problems with chambering and co2 wasn’t cycling the firing pin just clicked and sometimes it gets jammed for no reason and mag can get stuck inside the magwell. When I bought this Glock 17 gen 3 I hald also bought the beretta Apx blowback and I must admit it’s like 40 bucks cheaper just as nice and runs way better for sure but I wouldn’t waste 100 bucks on this BB gun

I like that my purchase of the glock17, so closely resembles the actual pistol and it allows for me to safely practice as such.
Things I would have changed:I would wish that I could get more time through the co2. Although it gets me about 80-85 shots. It cuts the FPS by the 3rd round, which is about which is about 55 shots
What others should know:Its a great purchase, it's not a toy treat it as if it's a real gun bot bb's. It's alot of fun for skill practicing.

Look, feel, weight (with loaded magazine in) is very good compared to real gen 3 G17. Even trigger pull with no BBs in inserted magazine in magazine well, feels good. (but with a huge caveat to be discussed in the: Things I would change section). Fits my Blackhawk Serpa level 2 retention holster perfect. Feel of a draw out of this holster is spot on to the real thing.
Things I would have changed:If you are looking for a training gun with realistic partial trigger reset for quick follow up shots, this is *not* the gun you are looking for. Trigger pull with BBs in magazine changes as a BB has to stage from magazine to chamber, which happens *only on a full travel trigger pull*, and because its doing this, trigger is janky feeling. If you do a partial pull on the trigger like you would for a quick double tap (like with a real G17), the gun will release compressed air and action will cycle, but no BB comes out. At first I thought I could not hit a target to save my life on follow-up shots, because I *only* do partial reset trigger pulls with a real G17. I did not realize no BB was staging because I was not using full trigger travel on follow-up shots. Doing a partial reset feels good, almost like the real thing. Air comes out, action cycles, but no BB shoots. In fact, if you tilt the gun down after, it will roll out of the barrel.
What others should know:You will not become a Jerry Miculek practicing with this gun. 1st draw from holster is good, other than that, fuh-ged-about-it.

Very realistic in looks, weight and performance. Comfortable to shoot. Very good sights. Pretty close replica of a real Glock 17. Although Blowback is partial, the feel is realistic. Accuracy was better than I expected. Performance was excellent. Good value for the price.
Things I would have changed:Full blowback would have been better for realism, instead of partial. The ability to load multliple BBs into the breach before shooting was distressing. Once you begin pulling the trigger you need to follow through. Relaxing the trigger and beginning another pull to shoot will result in a second BB loading up and shooting with the first BB loaded. Trigger is rough to pull (not smooth). A full field-takedown feature would have been nice. Otherwise, there is'nt anything else I would have changed.
What others should know:The most important point that drove me to make the purchase of this Glock is that Umarex's Gen 3 model is the only model of the Glock they produce that was advertized at 365 fps out of the box. The only comparison I had was my Air Venturi ISSC M22, which handles more comfortably. All the other models so far of the Umarex Glock shoot at about 320 fps. The sights on the G17 are very visible with a white dot on the front sight and the rear sight notch is bracketed in white. This is a significant improvement in aiming accuracy. Performance was very good: Using Black Diamond BBs best performance was: Hi=403 fps, Lo=373 fps, Average=381.8 fps, SD=10.1 fps. Of the 4 Glocks offered by Umarex, I would recommend this one on performance alone. I currently am on the waiting list for the Gen 5, which is a belt fed pellet pistol similar to my Sig Sauer P320. The Gen 5 promises to be the best of the Umarex Glock line IMHO.

I purchased this for a friend so that we could practice our techniques. Very realistic blow back, very nice feel, and looks pretty darn awesome!
Things I would have changed:Not much.
What others should know:Remember to release the spring after adding BBs to the magazine. Without that you will not be pushing BBs into the chamber. We initially thought there was a defect, that was not the case. The defect was us!

Over all feel is pretty good. With the magazine in the weight is not too far off.
Things I would have changed:Trigger is terrible, which is nor uncommon on semi-auto air guns but I had hoped, being a licensed product it, would be better. Finish is not great, the flashing at the parting lines from the mold for the body are much larger and rougher than on a Glock. The worst part was it DOES NOT FIT A GLOCK HOLSTER. The slide is .5mm (.02 in) wider than a Glock slide (26mm vs. 25.5). That doesn't sound like a lot but it will not holster in a CompTac holster for a Glock 17 & 34 without loosening. The slide pushes out of battery and the trigger guard will only seat if you jam it in hard which messes up the retention for a comparable draw. With the holster loosened all the way up, it almost works OK but then a real Glock has no retention.
What others should know:Would have preferred pellet over bb but I see there is a pellet version coming out at the end of the year. One of the reasons I went with it even though it was bb, was because I thought I could just swap it and a Glock back and forth in the holsters I already have.
I would return it if I had kept the packaging.

The gun is just like the real thing. It is so fun to shoot. The trigger is a bit ruff, i think it may get better with use.
Things I would have changed:I think the manual safety should be located somewhere other tha where it is, because if you put a laser or a light on the rail you can't use the safety.
What others should know:I think the spare magazines are a bit over priced.

I like the look and weight of this gun. The controls are very similar to the actual firearm. It shoots decently, not any better or worse than other replica guns I have. I haven't had any issues with its function.
Things I would have changed:The trigger. The reset is too long, and the pull is too clunky. The trigger is it's biggest problem. I don't enjoy shooting the gun because of it. I wanted to use this to practice with, but it just is too different from the real one.
What others should know:I don't mind the CO2 in the magazine, but it makes it expensive if you want to keep spare magazines. Also it would be nice to be able to keep a tool for the CO2 in the gun, so you don't have to keep track of an allen wrench.

It is a decent analogue for a real Glock and it was fairly accurate.
Things I would have changed:The trigger pull is heavy and there is a semi common issue of the spring for the firing pin failing, which causes the firing pin to get stuck out and stop you from inserting the magazine unless the slide is locked back. For me, this issue led to my firing pin breaking, making the gun unusable.
What others should know:If you do end up with a broken part, you will not be able to find replacement parts online from any 3rd party seller. All search results automatically direct you to the airsoft Glock 17 that Umarex also sells.
