This is my second crossbow. Replace a older missions 360 and it's like daylight and dark deference in the two. Love the cocking system and the ability to de-cock. The Oracle X scope is a game changer also. Looked at the Ravin R 500 also but when I shoot both deceied to go with the tenpoint 505.

I do not usually write reviews but wanted to express my thoughts on the Nitro 505. The accuracy is lacking at yardages 35 and above. I wish the trigger was adjustable.

Tenpoint crossbows are top notch,it has the speed,power and accuracy I’ve been wanting in a crossbow,you will want the best target you can get because this beast will bury your bolts.

very fast and accurate, a little heavier than I would like but worth it for the extra speed. Rangefinding scope really takes the guess work out of it

The bow is great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the raised cheek plate on top of the the stock is held on by some kind of tape and it always moves around and has to be reset . I’m guessing sometime the tape will stop sticking all together.
