Things I liked:

Well made and strong. Not too loud. Very nice stock and overall quality control.

Things I would have changed:

The front sight is fiber optic. It can break very easy and I am not sure how I would replace it. The rear sight sits so high that it is in the field of view of the scope that came with the gun. I took the stock sights off and tried sighting in the scope. It was only accurate out to 15ish yards. At 25 the best group I got was about 2 inches. This was at an indoor range with Benjamin Hunting Pellets, and Kodiak Extra Heavy, 21.14 Grains .22cal. Anything past that was very unpredictable accuracy. I decided the poor accuracy past 25 yards completely made the optic meaningless and have decided to put the irons back on. I plan on keeping this in my truck as a just for fun gun but would not recommend it for hunting anything past 25 yards. Final gripe is no sling attachments. The rifle is too heavy to make it anything more than a truck gun or a bench rest rifle. I still don't know what I am going to do if the front or rear sight break.

What others should know:

This gun would make a great rifle for a young teen who wants to hunt rabbits near the house or shoot cans but I would not expect that great of accuracy out of this rifle. If you miss, it is probably not your fault. Decent rifle for the price but keep in mind the rifle's limitations.

    Things I liked:

the looks, feel, power for target practice. This is a beautiful air rifle, slightly above my wife's Ruger Air Hawk and son's Beeman RS2 which are all very similar rifles (except the triggers). Get a gun case to keep from scratching it up. After tightening the barrel pivot bolt (remove the stock first), the rifle is VERY accurate. I am not a good shot but can get less than 1/2" groups at 15 yds. using Benjamin hollow points. They shoot slightly better in this gun than Crosman Premiers. At 25 yds., I get less than 1" groups by just guessing the elevation on the factory scope. I can get 1 1/4" groups around the bullseye at 50 yds by shooting 5" high from where the factory scope is sighted in at 15 yds. These are all with the forestock resting on a pad. After adjusting the rear trigger adjustment screw out, it has gone from bad to excellent. If you unscrew it too far, the gun discharges when taken off 'safety'. If you don't Loctite it into place, it will continue to unscrew and fall out.

    Things I would have changed:

I would put a really soft rubber recoil pad on it. The one on the gun is as hard as the wood stock and the gun has enough recoil so your shoulder knows it after a while. The hand grip is made for really big hands. I wear XL gloves and my hands seem barely big enough. The scope rings could easily come from the factory with epoxied pins to engage the grooves in the receiver where the scope mounts. I made the pin holes with a 3/16" drill bit in a drill press with the lower ring halves held in a drill press vise. I used longer Allen screws to mount the scope to the receiver. I removed the open sights. The rear one casts a big shadow in the scope view. I don't have to worry about damaging the front sight while cocking if it isn't there. The scope is 'good enough' to 50 yards for me. I don't know that I am a good enough shot to take advantage of a better scope anyway. I didn't remove any lock washers from under the front trigger adjusting screw because I like how it works now.

    What others should know:

I received this rifle from Pyramyd Air in the first week of January 2016. After fighting with the loose 'artillery hold' for weeks, I found I could get the most accuracy and tightest groups by holding the gun firmly in both hands and against my shoulder like a conventional firearm. That is not true for me using similar rifles: Ruger Air Hawk or Beeman RS2. One scope ring bolt loosened up after shooting a while. So a person needs to check them regularly. Not having shot a springer break-barrel rifle before, it took me 250-300 shots to figure things out. I learned to shoot with a Remington Junior Special .22 using an excellent single-stage one-pound pull trigger. This gun is now close to that. The only pellets this gun doesn't like so far are 7.2 gr. Daisy Precision Max and 15.4gr. H&N Sport Rabbit Magnum II. It shoots JSB Monster Diabolo 13.43gr. pellets accurately, 7.4 gr. and 7.9 gr. Crosmans and a variety of domed, pointed, and hollow point pellets around 8-10gr.

    Things I liked:

This is a great rifle for the money. I shot 30 .177 10.4 gr pellets through it, had multiple 2 to 3 pellets through the same hole. Plenty of power, shoots through 2"cardboard and another 3" of phone books behind the cardboard. This has plenty of power for small game with accurate shots. The fit and finish are comparable to higher end rifles. The checkering is lazer engraved, but very comfortable. The scope is a fixed 4x32 with removable yellow dustcap for low light, with dual aluminum rings that have single allen screw clamping. The iron sights have neon day glow points, 2 green with a orange in between. Other than being made in China, this is a dream springer, barrel and breech are resembling the RWS 34, the trigger group is a copy of the Rekord Trigger group on the HW95 and adjustable. Hefty and sturdy.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope could be a little bit better on adjustment for focus. There are times the day glo fiber optic iron sights throw a glare on the scope if not using the yellow see thru dust caps. The secondary safety reset lever does hit the scope when pushed up to reset the safety if unable to take a shot and need to put the rifle on safe. The Iron sights work but would rather have steel iron sights with a cover over the front post like the old RWS 34.

    What others should know:

This is an excellent rifle for the money, something that should hold up for a long time and passed on to future generations.

    Things I liked:

I am very happy with this air rifle. Fantastic value. I and my friends were impressed with the quality of the wood stock. I have not installed the scope that came with it and like the tru-glow open sight set up. The front sight is even protected. I found this air rifle to be quite accurate, easy to cock and in .22 it wacks our little 'air-range' targets with quite a whack.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

This is a great air rifle for the money. The stock alone is impressive with full grain wood, Remington logo and nice deep cut checkering. The tru-grow sights work very well and this is a perfect firearm teaching tool, plus it is a 'blast' to shoot, all the youths seem to love this one and at the price I don't worry about it being damaged.

    Things I liked:

This is a fantastic gun for the money. Easy to use, accurate using Beeman 12 grain hollow point pellets (I bought the .22; don't recollect if it comes in .177), and a lot of fun to shoot. For the $100 this gun cost, I do not think you could find a better gun. The break barrel is relatively easy, and the overall quality seems very high. Still breaking it in, but the first couple hundred shots have been amazing. The scope works fairly well, and the sights on the gun are nice as well. It's not too loud, so I can shoot it in my back yard without attracting a lot of attention. At fifty feet I'm consistently hitting three inch groupings...I know that a lot of you are probably used to better than that, but this is probably more a reflection of my shooting skills than the gun's accuracy. The gun itself is beautiful.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish it were made in the United States or Canada.

    What others should know:

The rubber butt plate smells rater obnoxious. That being said, this is great gun.

This replaced an old Crossman 760. His thing is fantastic, extremely accurate, and someone said its not good for anything bigger than a squirrel. Wrong, I've taken 2 garden eating rabbits both with one shot. Using Polymag hunting pellets. I paid $99 and its well worth it.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

    Things I liked:

It LOOKS like an actual hunting rifle - not some military sub-machine gun or space laser. It's comfortable, has an acceptable trigger. I would have sworn it was a nitro-piston gun, but it's just a really nice springer. Does not try to jump around or anything when shot, it's quiet, and accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

The safety - and that is a total preference thing. I am just accustomed to the safety being next to the trigger, not at the back of the receiver.

    What others should know:

It's not a match rifle or anything, but it is quite nice and shoots very well. Great for small nuisance birds and other vermin. I would not use it on anything bigger than a squirrel. Nothing "AMAZING" but nice, solid little air rifle.

    Things I liked:

The fit and finish are "vary good" and the barrel locking mechanism (spring loaded ball bearing) is solid and stable. The wood stock has good weight and with my chrono I was able to get an average of 997 FPS with Crossman 7.9 grain hollow points. My groupings were about excellent for a spring piston air rifle. Using a supported "artillery hold " I was grouping approximately one and a quarter inch groups at 50 ft indoors. results may vary due to ammo, air temp/wind and shooters ability. I would have used better match grade ammo but I'm low on supply at the moment I got the gun and couldn't wait to shoot it.

    Things I would have changed:

The finish on the stock is thin and prone to dings, but sand paper and a good premium lacquer/stain can fix that should it become too unsightly. After market or repair parts from Remington. The safty lever is a little sloppy and not a firm mechanical or positive click when placing it on

    What others should know:

The rifle has a firm cocking effort and heavier grain pellets are no problem for the high power of this low cost rifle. It's rear sight is good and the adjustments are crisp. A scope for this rifle is a must as it's rang is impressive.
