    Things I liked:

i like the laser and light combo but did not use it very much. Gun is quite powerful putting quite a large dent in a dime at 25yd it will kill any thing that is in my back yard. I have no more squirrels or rabits due to this

    Things I would have changed:

more support on the receiver would make the gun last longer which they have done if u buy a new model

    What others should know:

I only shot mine about 1200 times till one day the damn thing snapped in half on me because i had the old version without the bottom brace and different receiver cap. Also do not use pba ammo it sucks at acurracy even though it is faster you dont need more velocity the gun is quite fast I only ONLY use gamo rocket ammo it is a heavy ammo with a copper bead in the tip

    Things I liked:

Solid gun. Accurate to about 50 yards. When shooting in a darker area, the lite actually will work at a distance for picking out eyes on "varmints". Not too heavy, but heavy enough to offer good stability.

    Things I would have changed:

A bit noisy when shooting. Might like to see something a bit more quiet. Would like to have seen the scope on raised rings and open sights beneath. The pressure switch for the laser went bad about 1 hour into use. Just replaced it with the switch that came on it and it works fine. With the scope sighted in, don't need it anyway.

    What others should know:

Overall a very good gun and value. Bought this for pest control in an industrial facility. Guys that have other brands actually prefer the Varmint Hunter over their personal guns.

    Things I liked:

compaired to other airguns i have owned in the passed the varmint hunter has a very good feel about it. The weight of the rifle is formitable and it has an incredibly realistic recoil. I would find this rifle to be a perfect gun for target practise in suburbia. The power of this gun was surprising for the price at point blank with the light pba ammo (crap only good for short range) it went 2/3 the way threw a 2x4 and at about 10 yards threw a racoon. At close range it is very good at taking care of all those unwanted pest around the house the laser was easy to sight in and is great for close range.

    Things I would have changed:

the scope is crap the flashlight is poitless and the triger has a very slow action to it

    What others should know:

this gun is anything but a toy dont buy it for a child. if your an avid shooter u better start workin out cause this thing is a pain to cock. all in all its not a bad buy in my eyes

    Things I liked:

Power, Looks, Is quite accurate once you get the scope zeroed in. I can hit something consistently from 75 yards away. Laser sight is easy to adjust to the cross hairs too. Flash light is pretty powerful for its size but I don't see myself using it often.

    Things I would have changed:

Manuals, pressure switches. The gun I have is the fluted barrel version. Comes with pressure switches which I consider useless, but the gun did come with on off buttons on the laser and flashlight which I like. The manual for the scope is actually wrong which would probably solve most peoples scope problems. The elevation is actually on the side and the windage is on top. not visa versa. I found this out after actually looking at the knobs, which have text saying left-----> on the top and up-----> on the side knob.

    What others should know:

The gun is pretty loud and I'd suggest taking it to a range if your ieven in a suburban area and don't have a few acres. The barrel is incased in a polymer like plastic material so the actual barrel itself is not fluted. The barrel inside the plastic is about an inch and a quarter in diameter. This gun is incredibly powerful, and can ricochet all over the place when shooting at different targets. So be careful. I'd also suggest using a heavier pellet such as the beeman kodiaks to lower the fps. The pba pellets loose accuracy after about 40 yards due to there light weight but they do rocket out of this gun.

    Things I liked:

Great amount of power for a break style gun. Accurate at 40 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

The light is useless -- it only projects about 15 yards. It would be nice if they could require less force to pump the rifle, but still retain the power.

    What others should know:

Overall a solid airgun and great value.
