Scope and mounts!

I thought that it had open sights, does not! Mounted the Gamo scope with mount that came with it. Tried to sight in with laser bore sight, ran out of adjustment! Only option is different scope or rings! As far as accuracy have no idea at this point!

Very accurate with 1.5 inch groups out to 35 yards. Kills squirrels at that range. The rifle is quiet

This rifle has a CAT trigger that is supposed to be adjustable, however, there is no movement in either adjustment screw. The trigger feels soft to me but its nothing major, I'll get used to it.

Great gun for the money. Extremely accurate, at least to 30 to 100 yards (range I was shooting) I did not have to make any adjustments to the scope just right out of the box(which is excellent considering the price of the gun) just set it to 9x power and drilled whatever I was aiming at. No adjustments had to be made to the scope just aimed dead center. Only time I had to finally adjust the scope was to dial it in with heavier pellets or the wind and that is very easy to do. Shot 20 rounds into a dime size hole(only my pinky would fit into it) granted only at 40 yards but still, great gun for the money. I would order some extra clips

For <$200 (coupons) you can't beat this gun. Accuraye as heck, strong power and pretty darn quiet!

New scope should improve accuracy.

Need to reduce the scope to butt distance. Really doesn't fit anyone.

Haven't had much time to shoot because the crosshairs and target were consistently blurry so I bought a new scope. The remaining problem is the distance from the scope to the rifle butt is about 12in. You have to be a giraffe to get a full field of view thru the scope. The scope to rifle butt on my regular guns is more like 9 in. Definitely uncomfortable to shoot. Since then I notice the scope on the older Whisper came with the same scope and the crosshairs and target are much clearer so I believe I started with a defective scope. Want to return it and exchange it for an identical scope. Planning to stay with the new scope due to the AO.

Rifle is high quality and well made. Very comfortable to shoot and is light. Accurate right out of the box. 10 round magazine is a game changer in the area a of air rifles.

I would incorporate iron sights on the gun in addition to the scope. A higher quality scope in addition would be a plus as there are numerous negative comments about it.

For the money it is unbeatable in its offerings of quality, dependability and value.

Gamo Swarm Maxxim 10 shot GEN2 When I got this rifle unboxed it reminded me of something like an elephant gun just because of the big barrel and the length of the gun! But it's not at all oversized. I love the weight, the low profile and length of this air rifle. It feels good in your hands. It is only 46 inches overall length and it's 5.5 lbs. The fluted barrel gives it a nice look as well, I like where the safety is located in front of the 3 stage trigger. This rifle has a lot of firepower while being pin point accurate. Pyramid Air has the price on this air rifle at an affordable price. I think this will be my new go to rifle I'm really impressed at the quality of this air gun and the fact that it came with a decent 3-9-40mm scope. I don't think you would be disappointed if you was to buy this rifle. I bought this one in .177caliber and I'm already thinking about buying my next Gamo rifle in the .22 magnum.

I have the scope back as far as it will let me go. There is a pin on the bottom of this scope that goes into a hole on the dovetail rail (it's part of their Recoil Reducing Rail) so the scope doesn't get jarred around from recoil. The scope covers won't fit correctly as for the scope sits so close to the 10shot magazine mechanism keeping it from fitting correctly. Not a huge deal breaker though as mine when not in use will be stored away from any dust or debri to be on it. You can always get a different scope.

This is a great air rifle at a very reasonable price, and its very accurate. Just remember the scope is so close to the magazine mechanism you can't put the scope covers on unless you buy a shorter one. The scope that comes with it is 12.5 inches long so you could get one at 12" and the covers would fit with no problem.

Order an extra pellet magazine or two to avoid reloading pellets every ten shots.

Love the 10 round magazine! After puttting the scope on and sighting in this thing is super accurate shooting 1 inch or smaller groups at 20 yards. The adjustable two stage trigger is awesome.

I have bought 3 different break barrels and this Gamo definetly is my favorite.

Hard hitting and enjoyed the auto loading feature. Quite and fairly accurate.

Safety needs to set itself on after each cock. Safety is too close to the trigger.

The auto loader or something up in that area broke after 400 rounds, 2 days. Ended up sending it back and haven't decided what we want. We would have ranked it higher had it not flew apart
