    Things I liked:

This air rifle is really amazing. After sighting it in I am able to get 1 inch groups at 25 yards consistently. Had a couple of buddies come over to see the rifle and they shot very tight groups as well. Other than the cocking being pretty extreme it is an awesome rifle to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Highly recommend this rifle if you are wanting a powerful pellet gun, this one fits the bill.

    Things I liked:

This is the second gamo swarm magnum both have broken the pin that loads the pellets into the breach would not recommend this air rifle cant even shoot enough pellets to sight either rifle in before the pins broke

    Things I would have changed:

Make the loading pin out of metal

    What others should know:

Poor engineering and no quality control there is a major issue with this loading mechanism

    Things I liked:

    Almost Everything!

    Things I would have changed:

The huge (oversized) sound suppressor on the barrel

    What others should know:

With it's 10 shot flawless magazine laying flat to accommodate the open sights, extremely light weight, durable synthetic, very comfortable stock, super accuratecy , extreme power and over all good looks, this gen2 Gamo Magnum is the ultimate . 177 (self contained power) air rifle!
Technical note: 4 days after I received my .177 gen2 Gamo Magnum.. I removed the useless (unsightly huge silencer) & replaced it with a tall iron open sight.
Now the overall (compact carbine) length is only 43" because the actual barrel is only 15" without goofy the "can".... NOW I LOVE IT!

powerful, the stock and cheekweld fit great

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

The cocking effort is so hard it isn't fun to shoot for long periods of time. I figured I'd get used to it but given other guns that require less effort, this one isn't going to get as much use because of that.

    Things I liked:

I really love this air rifle! It's aa beast!

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine that came with it does not advance each shot properly but it's just a bad mag because I bought two spares which both function properly. I need to ask Pyramid if they would please send me a replacement for the one that's defective.

    What others should know:

This is a very enjoyable rifle to shoot. I'm finding very good accuracy using the inexpensive Crosman 14.3 grain hollow points. The rifle takes some grunt to cock. I have the Swarm Maxxim as well which I can cock with one hand. The Magnum definitely requires both hands.

    Things I liked:

Not had this .22 gen 2 magnum very long, this is a heads up, make sure your pellets are a snug fit in mag I was using some .22 PDGs for break in period, they have a skinny waist and flop around and recoil made them pop up and foul clip, now using Crosman 14.3 domed much better, not broke in yet to cold, Only 3 stars for accuracy, still breaking in and waiting for another scope, the open sights are great the PDGs work great in my bone collector so good for single shot systems

    Things I would have changed:

Better scope or no scope nuff said

    What others should know:

This is a beast to cock

    Things I liked:

Light, less than 8lbs with a 12oz scope and the stock mounts, (Leupold 3-9x33 EFR Freedom scope). Open sights, (rear), made of metal and work well.Good trigger, and can easily be made better. A must for a very light hold, (artillery hold), holding the gun for long distances. I have not tested a lot of pellets yet, but I can tell already it loves the JSB 18.13 gr. with easy 1" groups at 40 yards, (my first 5 shots with that pellet). Also shot over 500 JSB 15.89gr domes and Hades pellets shoot well, but not as good as the 18.13 pellet. Over 27fpe, competes with a lot of PCP .22 cal. guns. Barrel locks up very well. Zero side to side movement, and just a very little bit of up and down movement that is hard to feel. It snaps shut like it is some kind of cam action. The 10 shot mag should go down in history as one of the best advancements of the break barrel gun. As a quality engineer, this gun is very good quality. Much better than my .30 cal. springer.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to be able remove the entire magazine assembly easily so I can clean the barrel more easily. But I do have to research that more. I don't understand why anybody would say a springer has a lot of recoil. Nobody ever got a bruised shoulder from a springer air gun. I don't need a big thick butt plate for a springer, as I barely touch it to my shoulder when shooting. But I do need better eye relief for the scope. I will make my own thin butt plate and get my eye about .75" closer to the scope so I have full view at the higher powers of the scope with out forcing my head in a unnatural forward position.

    What others should know:

After you clean the barrel, make sure you get all the grime off the breech face before you lock up the barrel, (why I need the mag assembly off, for easier cleaning). If you do not clean the oil/grime off the breech face, the high air pressure will work the grime around the o-ring sleeve and allow air to pass around the o-ring sleeve, causing your fps to jump all over the place and your accuracy to be terrible. If you know how to hold a springer, (basically, don't touch it), and you have a good scope and a good pellet like the 18.13gr. JSB, shot through a clean barrel, you should be able to do head shots on small game to 80 yards or more. With everything sealed well, I have measured over 900fps with a 15.89gr. pellet. Eat your hearts out PCP owners.

    Things I liked:

Powerful using crosman 14.3 grain hollow points from wally mart. The new mag works great and as designed. For those that don't use scopes the open sights are very good.

    Things I would have changed:

The first thing you will notice is the cocking effort wow 50 plus pounds easy , not for someone with a small build. It will take 3 men and a boy to cock it.The rear of the stock is hollow but it is very pointabe and comfortable.Weight is close to to 8 pounds unscoped.Persoatly i never use the Gamo scopes so i installed a UTG 3X12X44MM compact scope , zeroed in 5 rounds no drama.I think an extra mag would be more welcome and leave the scope behind. I bought mine on 7-30-20 only have 4 mags though it at this time mostly because of all the fires in California. It is a magnum in every sense of the word. Gamo should include more than one magazine. Would rather have an extra mag than the scope.

    What others should know:

Im glad i waited for the new magnum. Since i have the Maxxim in .177 i always thought would buy the 22 version but held off. Extra magazines are available from Gamo at 17.95. Planning on trying some JSB 18.13 grain i know it has more than enough power to push them.Recoil is not bad for a gun this powerful.

    Things I liked:

10 round clip is awesome in 177 decent price. Very light. Spain mfg. But it's a buy.

    Things I would have changed:

Cracks when firing...but goes with the power at 1200 fps in 177 leadl...making back yard firing noisy...but goes with the power so I like it

    What others should know:

Hard cocking....butch up you'll get use to it. Recommended as a buy to get that second shot when that rodent gets away bc you had to look away to reload in a reg springer. Would like an option for a match grade barrel. But seems to shoot good

    Things I liked:

The gun was fine, powerful, worked as it should

    Things I would have changed:

The optics are worthless, they don't adjust, simply tighten on the rifle, why even put it on....

    What others should know:

The gun is fine, would just need a different optic if your concerned with distance sighting. The problem I had was returning it for another rifle. They wouldn't print me a return label, so I had to send it back myself. It was $53 to return the gun box and $60 to return the gun case box....so $113 return postage....do the math.

    Things I liked:

Being able to buy products from somewhere else. I had to buy TWO of these air rifles before I actually got the Gen2, and even then, NOBODY had(has) even a single 22 cal pellet magazine to put in it. Using the SINGLE magazine that came with the rifle, the entire suppressor FLEW out of the end of the barrel with the first shot. Replaced and gluing did nothing; the suppressor FLEW OUT AGAIN. It just isn't going back into this rifle. $750.00 for two guns and neither one is a functional Gen2. (Caveat Emptor)

    Things I would have changed:

GAMO's reliability when promising you one thing then sending you the last copy of their old version. Unbusinesslike to be sure. I will NEVER buy a single solitary GAMO product again. I just don't have the money to waste

    What others should know:

I'm out nearly $1,000.00 and I STILL don't have a properly functioning 22 caliber GAMO Swarm Magnum Gen2. An issue because LASER sights won't function behind the vertical magazines of Gen One.

    Things I liked:

Powerful long range and pinpoint accuracy with the right pellets. Mine does really well with .22 H&N Hornets, and nearly as good with Premier Domed & Hollow Point. New Gen2 mag prevents double loading, can also uses the other gen2 10x mag from Swarm Fusion, etc (without double load prevention). Have iron sights fitted if you want to shoot without scope.

    Things I would have changed:

Perhaps different linkage design for less cocking effort? It is a truly 50lbs cocking effort, although it seems to get smoother and a bit lighter as the rifle is broken in., or you're getting used to it. The recoil is insanely strong. Getting a magnum rated scope and/or a zero recoil mount is a must. Your scope is garranteed to have a very short life without those.

    What others should know:

Mine got a bad barrel droop, have to shim rear-end of scope to not using too much elevation on the scope itself. Also the pistol grip cover is snap-fitted, removable and have enough room for a spare mag, if you want to.
