For a do it all air rifle, I don't think you can beat the FX lineup

Absolutely amazing! As the son of a gunsmith I have been around firearms all of my life. Due to an unfortunate event I can no longer own a firearm. I thought I was out of luck. Until an off hand search sent me to Pyramid Air. I had no idea that air guns were so capable. One of their online experts recommended the FX Impact to me and he was on the money.

Out of the box my ,25 caliber shot through 1" of plywood at 50 yards with laser precision. It only took me two adjustments of the scope to shoot a 1/2" group. I have since watched several Youtube videos and have learned that it is set to a very conservative level and has lots more power on tap. Watch some of the videos. The FX Impact is the best of the best.

The FX Impact is all that I hoped it would be. Powerful,laser accurate and most surprisingly quiet. Even though there are no baffles in the moderator, this thing is quiet. I have not found a pellet that it doesn't shoot well. Mine is .25 cal so there aren't many pellets to choose from, but I have tried about 7 different pellets. The magazine works smoothly, is easy to load and install/ remove. The balance of the gun is very even and overall it is light.

Nothing much to improve here. It would be nice if you got 2 magazines.

Whatever your normal pellet purchase, double it with this airgun. With 28 in the magazine, the pellets go away in hurry.

The FX Impact X .22 with the 700 mm with a superior barrel is awesome. If you order one, be patient. Other than that, the Impact is so freaking accurate, it's really unbelievable. The FX is also very well made, smooth action and a boat load of power. I have mine set up with 110 psi at the regulator. The power wheel set at 4 and pellet speed is consistent at 940 fps using Exact Jumbo Diablo 15.89 gr or Hades 15.89 gr. At 48', it's going through the same hole!

Nothing really. The only thing that could be better is the trigger action. The Air Arms S510 SX Xtra FAC has a lighter trigger action so maybe something in between.

You will need a (FX) chronograph for fine tuning.

Verification that rifle does not leak prior to shipment to customer.

Upon pressurizing rifle with air found two leaks. One was at the front of power plenum. Had to disassemble and replace 9x1.5mm o-ring that was damaged. Also had to make sure front of power plenum was seated as far as possible into receiver. Second o-ring is barely captured in receiver tube. Looks to be a dimensional design issue. Second leak was at the tank pressure gauge. Found this to be incomplete solder/braze joint at pressure gauge port. Fixed by peening copper tube outwards. After these two leaks were fixed rifle has held pressure.

I have never shot a more accurate PCP. At .30 caliber it is not that loud. What is loud is the sound of the impact. It is definitely not back yard friendly, unless you surround your backyard with 1/4 inch steel plating. Lol.

It would be nice if it came with pellets.

Read, read, read the manual. You do not want to lose your warranty.

One thing that I would change is the fill port. Its hard to release the quick connect.

Supremely accurate, smooth action, great shot count , high capacity magazine (23 rounds in.30 cal) smooth twist x barrel rarely needs cleaning. Its light, it has increadable tunability. Its not uncommon for mine to shoot 5 shots in a row at exact fps The addition of the power plenum allows you to shoot anything from a .177 to the newly released .35 cal with just a quick barrel, and pellet probe change.

Fill probe could be a little easier to disconnect from, but its really not that bad. Cant think of much else id want to change.

Clean the barrel before you shoot it... Don't panic if its not shooting dime size groups at 50 yards right out of the box...
You should be getting good groups right from the factory but it gets better as it breaks in. The action gets smoother the gun settles into its tune, the barrel breaks in etc. The real magic happens when you fine tune it. If you put in the time to fine tune this air gun you will be rewarded with supreme accuracy as long as you do your part, and you have a good scope...

Before i bought this i had 2 marauders in .25 cal. I really loved tbem because they were my first pcp airguns, and were way better then anything else id shot at the time, but they had poi issues.. common with that gun. Next gun i bought was a cricket in .25. No more poi shift, and way better shot count but not as accurate as id hoped it would be at long range, and heavy.
The impact has no poi shift even when taking barrel off and putting it back on, and it has unmatched accuracy when tuned.

The trigger is really good. The power is extremely adjustable, you just have to know what you are doing with it. It is super quiet.

It is a lot of money, but you get what you pay for. This gun is made incredibly well, and you will not find all the features this gun has on any other gun.

I expected this rifle to be high quality and accurate based on my research prior to my purchase. However, it has exceeded my expectations in all aspects! Also, the service from Pyramyd Air has been outstanding.

.25 600mm - Light, accurate, large magazine that is easy to load. The sidelever is smooth and takes very little effort. The case is better than most "free cases" and will work with a scope. A lot of tuning options.

Expensive The fill is so deep, it can require a screw driver to release a standard quick disconnect. They provide a different quick disconnect, but that only works for one fill device. If you have more than one fill device, add a male end on their quick disconnect and use it as an adapter for whatever you fill with. Even with the 600mm, the moderator has to be removed to put it in the case. A slightly longer (1/2") case would let it stay on.

If you add the Saber Tactical FX Impact Pump Action Kit, it solves the fill issue. There is an opening inside the trigger guard that makes the connect and disconnect of the fill easy.

This rifle is all quality from the cocking lever to the trigger pull.

A longer picatinny rail for bipod mount especially with the 700mm barrel.

With the addition of the new power plenum and interchangeable barrels it does not get any better.

With the new addition of the power plenum we now have power to spare as well as additional shot count. Also the new gauges are much more accurate then before.

This is the best platform in a pcp Airgun ever.looking forward for the new 35 cal. Barrels witch will up the games to big bore hunting.

Very thing from the gun, very smooth, I had nothing more to say because most of airgun owner know that.

Price is little bit high, if this price it should come with 580cc bottle, or extra magazine.

Quality.

The air fill location or the ease of using the air fill location. I would also change scope rail so it could move up and down from front to back so that when you mount the scope you can adjust for short or longer range without adding third party products and spending time figuring all that out.

This is not a buy and shoot gun. You will have to invest heavily in an air replacement device, as well as a riser or special scope rings. This is unfortunate as the cost on this gun is very high.

Modern tech. at it's best. 700mm barrel rifle is shorter than 400mm barrel crown!

It seems quieter than the crown.

Yes the 24 power is useful - it doubles as a spotting scope.

Love the gun, but I really haven't had enough time to settle myself down with it......, but it is coming. I am thinking slug liner, but really not sure what to expect (accuracy wise) Out of the box with 25 grain JSB's one minute of angle at 100 yards......

Only wish it came with a liner that would shoot both slugs and pellets. Otherwise, I wouldn't change a thing.....
