Everything, its vary light, accurate and fun to shoot. I also own the airbag co2. I purchased both of these pistols for my young grandchildren to use in my backyard range. Not having to struggle with a single-stroke pneumatic or a spring-piston pistol made our time at the range alot more fun.
Things I would have changed:Not a thing!
What others should know:When using the Mag be careful not to double load the brech. I have had it happen to me. Using the single tray ellimates this problem.

Dont listen to the Negative Reviews. This Bandits Fantastic. I originally bought my .22 bandit In 2019. The first one they sent was the newer stippled grip design. The moderator threads were slightly off and It was clipping pellets. Removed moderator and was perfect. At the time Pyramyd couldnt just send me another moderator when I asked. After using it loud and getting worried about neighbors, I sent it back. Unfortunately they didnt have another New .22 In stock. Waited a month, said screw it, bought a refurbished .22 for around $130. That one came with the original blockier bigger grip, No prob. Also ordered Diana Stormrider barrel band for about $8 from here at pyramyd. The bandit came and was In perfect condition. Shot it a few times and loved It. Wasnt pellet fussy. Crosman HP, rws, jsb's, others, 1 inch at 35yd plenty of power, gets 2 mags (14) at 2900-3000psi. If you tinker with It and Tune It, It outshoots my buddys $600 pcp pistols
Things I would have changed:For $179 or $130 refurb, This Is a STEAL. After shooting mine a couple times I knew I could Improve It. It wasnt bad especially for under $200 but the bolt, trigger, safety was not up to my standards. Slight tightness/grittiness. So I stripped It all down, polished the trigger, safety, Bolt, hammer, burnished hammer tube with graphite powder, Polished transfer port in receiver and transfer port In barrel because a couple burrs were present, Inspected Barrel Crown, was fine, cleaned barrel, added Moly to Trigger and bolt. Added Diana Stormrider Rifle Barrel Band. Now Its phenomenal!! Sooo smooth. The trigger, safety, bolt, hammer, Just glides like Ice, cycles beautiful. Its even more accurate than before. With JSB Exact Jumbo Diabolo 15.89 Grains, It stacks pellets and clover leafs at 35yds on a bag. Dont hesitate to buy this bandit. Pyramyd was Great, and they ended up shipping me the moderator I needed for the first one a month later lol. Now I have an extra one lol.
What others should know:I pondered adding a regulator. My bandit gets 2 mags (14 shots) at 30 yards B4 needing 2 fill. The altaros reg Is a good choice. However, It noticably decreases volume In the tiny 50cc Airtube. Unless the reg Is turned quite far down, the decrease In volume negates any Increase In shots off the reg, decreases shot count to about 8. If you turn reg down, you gain about 3-4 shots to your total. (total of 17-18) For me, because I hunt/pest, Id rather have my first few shots running hot then add the reg which drops those first few down, adds consistency and gains a few shots on the back end at slower FPS. Although Its not a real German Diana, Its fantastic and with a little tinkering Its absolutely amazing! Its made By Snowpeak In china, as Is the Outlaw-which Is superb, The scout, Stormrider, chaser. Snowpeak makes numerous models that are great quality and value. They also Sell the Bandit As the Artemis PP800. The Diana chaser stock, barrel can be fitted to this bandit to make a carbine

Its accurate and hand pump friendly. It stock is also interchangeable with the Chaser rifle to make a great carbine. The Chaser rifle barrel also is interchangeable to make a Bandit rifle. The Chaser fits in the Bandit wood stock to make a nice "Airbug" like pistol. This interchangeability adds function to the Bandit PCP.
Things I would have changed:Offer the Bandit with a stock and rifle barrel kit like the chaser.
What others should know:This is a great for small game hunting within 30 yards and it has sufficient power for the task. I get 14 accurate un-regulated shots with the .22 bandit before I refill. It's easy to refill with a hand pump. The Bandit is not pellet fussy. I get excellent consistency with a variety of pellets in the 14 - 18 grain range. Although I can count of the expensive ammo to shoot tight groups, my Bandit shoots the less-expensive ammo very well too.

It's a lovely parts kit. Diana quality; really a nicely made piece. The left bolt really makes sense. About 3-4 mags at good power from such a small cyilider isn't bad. No powerhouse, but sufficient for potting squirrels at ethical ranges. Or pot rats, if you wish. If you are looking for a flat shot string, add a regulator. There's a lot of curve in the shot string off the shelf.
Things I would have changed:The grip is utterly ghastly. but that sent me down a rabbit hole to fix the situation. For another $100, you can go full AR mini-carbine on this honey, and it makes a light (under 3 lbs no optics) deadly accurate little tactical rifle that just looks sweet. With the stock compressed, it's tiny. Even with a bipod, it's a relative feather.
What others should know:I was disappointed initually, but with the add-ons, it's really about as much fun as you can have with your pants on

It was an inexpensive entry into the world of PCP. With the right pellets it is accurate.
Things I would have changed:I'd make the stock more like the one on my Diana Air bug. Finger grooves are too sharp. I'll be sanding things down. Better to have more wood that not enough though.
What others should know:I added a regulator set at 130 bar. It reduces volume greatly. I was getting 8 shots before my velocities dropped. First 8 663-666, then 633, 624 using 14g Meisterkugeln. I turned down the pressure slightly and am looking forward to next week at the club when I can use my buds FX crono to see if I have it dialed in. JSB Exact Jumbo 15.89 were making a ragged hold at 50 feet using a cheap red dot over a sand bag. I'm very happy with that.
For what it cost, it is performing above its pay grade.

I really like the Diana Bandit pcp pistol. It's my first time buying a Pcp air gun. I was a little skeptical, but I am very satisfied with my purchase. The Bandit is very accurate with the red dot sight that I added. I have not used the open iron sights on this pistol. The grip is rather large, but fits my hand fine. The accuracy is very good for a pistol. Only problems I've had are of my own unsteadiness with a pistol. I like the 7 round magazine! This was one of the reasons that I purchased this air gun. Very good for pest control in my back yard, squirrels Beware!
Things I would have changed:I would like to see a shoulder stock that could be used without changing out the original pistol grip. The air cylinder Guage is rather hard to read. The front iron sights should be more prominent, possibly a different color than the rear open sight.
What others should know:I bought this pcp pistol because of the price. It was the most affordable pcp pistol that I had found, yet it is very accurate and Iam very satisfied with my purchase. I am not sure if the iron sights accuracy of this pistol, since I purchased a red dot sight and haven't used the original iron sights.

I got the .22 version. The gun itself is great value for the money. Fairly accurate and pretty hard hitting,(Went through a 3/4" piece of plywood after 4 or 5 shots!) Love the magazine too, first airgun I have with this feature.
Things I would have changed:The only thing I don't like about this gun like is the grip. Seems made for a person with really long , skinny fingers, whereas mine are short and fat! However I took the old rotary grinder and Dremel tool to it, and after a few hours it now fits my hands perfectly, looks much better too as I rounded all the square edges and reshaped some parts of it.
What others should know:You might have to patch some drywall if you shoot this thing indoors with only a piece of 3/4" ply as a backing - ask me how I know!!

Price, build quality, new grip style. Also now includes a cover that spins around the fill port hole. Its A plastic sleeve that rotates around the end of the air cylinder that will keep dirt out of the fill port. Overall I think Diana stepped up the build quality. I read a lot of bad reviews about bad crowns, bad transfer ports with burrs, leads with burrs. Mine in perfect everywhere and is extremely accurate out of the box. These new Bandits coming out seem to be what the gun should have been from the beginning. For $180 its an Amazing bargain. I got the .22 version for backyard plinking and pest control. Love it
Things I would have changed:Really wish Airguns would just switch to a picatinny rail instead of dovetail. I mounted a reflex sight but youre forced to use a dovetail to picatinny riser. Adds unnecessary weight and height to you setup.
What others should know:The mew upgrades and quality control to this new bandit is spot on I feel. Zero complaints here. Great deal I feel at the $180 price tag. Thanks Pyramyd!
