Accuracy. High shot count (on low power setting 112 shots). Compact. Light weight. Inexpensive.
Things I would have changed:Maybe make the barrel shorter.
What others should know:I own many airguns (Brocock sniper HR, Marauder field target, Edgun Leishy, Marauder pistol/carbine, kral puncher breaker, BSA SE, etc), and this is one of the best values among my 30 airguns. I mainly shoot paper targets at 20 yards, and in .177, it is extremely accurate ,and I can get .33 inch holes easily over 10 shots. I set my carbine to the lowest power yesterday and was able to get over 110 shots!!!!!!! There aren't very many airgun reviews on YouTube about this gun so I thought I would share my experience. It is an awesome gun!

The stock is a piece of art. Absolutely beautiful!
Things I would have changed:The rest of the gun. I purchased mine in a .25 cal as a factory "refurbished" because that is what was available. It came with a bent barrel. I took it out of the gun, rolled it on a flat surface and it is Bent like an old bar room pool cue. The regulator shoots jsb diablo exact 25.39 grains between 683 to 730fps. Most are near 700 but it is not reliable. Some rounds hit high, some low. The trigger got so loose after one charge of air that it wouldn't fire. Took it apart and nearly every nut and bolt in this thing was loose. I adjusted the trigger light to my liking and put a drop of blue loctite on every thing I could. Despite all this, I have got a few good groups at short distance, 25 yds, when the regulator operates correctly, and some pretty poor one's when it doesn't. I have a hard time believing Diana did anything except put a stock and their name on it. As far as a factory refurbish, this gun went there twice? I bet it didn't.
What others should know:I am a competitive shooter, and did not purchase this for that purpose. I did not expect my skyhawk to perform like my Impact. I bought it for under 100yd plinking and pesting. I am going to replace the regulator, $115, and eventually have a barrel made, $300 or so. This gun has great potential but my inexpensive plinker is now anything but inexpensive. I won't buy another Diana rebranded product. I am keeping this one because by the time I had the time to use it, it was too late to return it. Diana, DO something to earn my money. I could've bought this spa gun much cheaper elsewhere and fixed the stuff you claimed YOU would. As far as P.A. goes, you sent me a gun with a visibly bent barrel. Did this go back to the factory or just opened and checked for scratches?

Weight, precision, style, price, comfort
Things I would have changed:The magazine, very bad ... and the butt behind a lot of volume and unnecessary weight ... I would do it behind type FX Wildcat or another ... a lot of wood back doing unnecessary weight ... and lever I advanced type FX ... those 3 things I would change without increasing raw material and price ... Diana's engineers ... Think ...
What others should know:The Magazin is very delicate. EYE

Excellent quality and workmanship. Features were above expectations, just barely under my FX. pyramid Air is my choice to order from for all of my air gun needs.
Things I would have changed:Very poorly designed magazines. Loading pellets skirt first is frustrating, takes a very steady hand.
What others should know:Very compact, excellent Italian stock is the best I have in my collection. I love that this rifle is regulated and my detachable 3 x 12 x 50 scope fits in the included case.

Accuracy, shots per fill, powerful and not too Pellet fussy.Looks good.Fits in the free case with scope mounted.
Things I would have changed:The magazines could be better.Should be like the marauders mags.
What others should know:This is a very nice gun.It seems to be like a lottery but I think most of the problems were with .25 caliber.I have a .177 and its hoot.Accurate at 67 yards,50,40,25,I hit my cowbell at 123 yards with JSB 13.43s and it also shoots Crosman 10.5s very well which is half the cost of JSB and you can usually get them locally at a store.50-55 shots per fill.
JSB 13.43 @856 fps. Crosman 10.5 @920 fps
RWS meisterkugeln 7.0 1006 fps
Ive posted a couple videos on the tube already with it in case anyone dont believe. Freak eye.

The Diana Skyhawk is a beautiful bull pup and the Italian made Manelli stock is a high quality work of art. The regulator in my 25cal gun is extremely consistent with an extreme spread of only 7fps over 36 shots from a 3400psi fill and falling off the regulator around 1250psi.
Things I would have changed:I think Diana should have better quality control over the barrels used in the Skyhawk. And you have to do some trigger work as well to get a crisp break at 1lb 5oz.
What others should know:I received my gun & it was pellet fussy only shooting JSB Kings, king heavy & Predator polymags grouping them about 2 inches at 30yds. Ive done barrel work before so I would see if I could correct the issues. I removed my barrel and the crown and feed ramp were chattered from factory milling. I used a bullet shaped felt polishing attachment for dremel tools & soaked a piece of 600 grit wet or dry high quality automotive sandpaper until soft to form over the point of the bullet shaped felt and BY HAND without any dremel tool I polished my barrels crown & feed ramp to a mirror finish. I pushed a pellet thru my barrel with a small Dow rod and noticed some scratches on the pellet that shouldn't be there. I then took my patch worm and run about 15 patches with denatured alcohol thru the barrel until clean. I then used auto polishing compound and run 6 tight patches thru opposite of pellet travel and 12 with pellet travel and cleaned the barrel out again. Now it shoots 1/2in groups at 60yds.

I really like the laminate stock. Trigger breaks at 2lbs 1 ounce. 25 cal would not group with any pellets, single shot or in the magazine ( JSB, H&N, and GTO) . The baffles were in bad shape, and were being clipped & bent by pellets. However after replacing the baffles with delrin ones ( same dimensions and length without the angle) , and extending the barrel shroud by 3.5" with appropriate baffles and spacers, & settling on GTO 16.54 Alloy Pellets, consistency is acceptable (sub 1\2" groups @ 20 yards). The only other pellet that seems to be friendly is the H&N 19.91 FTT. I've purchased a Huma regulator, yet have not installed it as of yet. I really have had a hate / love relationship with this little air rifle. I don't really understand the balance that is in the current setup other than the oldest rule in the book, "it works " and with the GTO 16.54 Alloys, it's really turned into a very reliable fun tool. Just don't expect out of the box performance.
Things I would have changed:Better Baffles. Higher quality regulator. Quality control from the factory.

This gun is beautiful with very nice fit and finish. Now that I have worked on it a bit, it is very accurate. I must have won the barrel lottery. If my rifle, in out of the box condition, shot as well as it does now, I would rate it a FIVE. It holds air forever, no leaks. The trigger on my gun was quite satisfactory out of the box, but I lightened it a bit. I use the single shot loading tray a lot as it is very convenient. I love the safety....non automatic. I get pleasure just from picking this gun up. It is a keeper. It is very quiet.
Things I would have changed:This rifle needs the inspect/tweak that the factory rep at SHOT 2019 assured me was being done by Germans in the German factory. Both muzzle and breech required lapping for burrs. The connector pin securing the operating lever promptly fell out. The magazines required disassembly and careful reaming/polishing the sharp edges of the cylinders. The magazines work nicely now, but they are still tricky to load. You need good lighting while loading to see the cylinder alignment. The manual for this gun is worthless. There is zero info on the trigger, and not near enough on the magazine. These obstacles are readily fixable with instructions on YouTube.
What others should know:This is a beautiful, reliable accurate rifle that is near and dear to my heart. The price is very reasonable. It is my first Bullpup and I love it.

This is a great gun for the money. Shoots inside a dime at 50 yards It likes jsb 25.39 grain shooting at 780 fps, jsb 33.95 grain shooting at 690 fps and h & n sport baracuda 30.86 grain shooting at 730 fps. It is backyard friendly .Trigger is not match grade but can be adjustable to one's liking .Mine is 1lb 10oz pull. With Hawke scope and utg bipod it is around 9 lbs
Things I would have changed:It takes getting used to loading the mag after that you are good to go.
What others should know:Make sure you pull the cocking lever all the way back till you hear the click before the first time you fill the gun or else the air will go through the barrel.

The weight and how it feels in your hands. It's very easy to shoot offhand and although it has a little weight, it's just enough to make it feel good in your hands. The gun is accurate, it looks good, it feels good and it makes me want to show it off. I have shot it out to 45 yards with 5 yards in a dime. At 25 yds the gun is putting pellets in the same hole, literally. I aim at the hole I just shot and put a full clip in that very same hole.
Things I would have changed:The case it's comes in is decent but it's not designed so that you can change it to fit with the scope attached.
What others should know:I have read other reviews and honestly I can't see the complaints that people are griping about. I like this gun so much I also bought it in the Walnut in .177. I have the .25 in Laminate. Both are very accurate. I have only shot them out to 45 yard but they both can do 5 rounds in a dime at 45 yds. They both get good shot counts and seriously they are both amazing, I will say I'm not crazy about the walnut stock, some of the pictures are prettier in pictures and mine is just plain. The Laminate is awesome. If I could have seen the gun on display and chose the one with the stock I like then the walnut may not be so bad otherwise.
