    Things I liked:

Decent sights single action trigger is very good, good power and good use of co2, 10 round pellet magazine

    Things I would have changed:

the double action is finicky about fully releasing the trigger - a least mine is - and often doesnt revolve properly. Not as smooth as the original 357 crosman, cheaper build than the original. Drop the bb magazine, only holds 6, whats the point - would rather have two 10 shot pellet mags.

    What others should know:

Its a fun airgun for plinking at around 15 yards to 20 yards and closer.

    Things I liked:

It's big and I like big pistols. Also, it was fairly accurate out of the box, however, I find the sights kind of narrow - nothing I wouldn't get used to though. It's pretty powerful, while not being very loud. The clips are easy to load and I haven't had a fail yet. In a pinch, easy to load, nice out-of-the-box accuracy and some power to boot - in an affordable package.

    Things I would have changed:

The grip panels. I have large hands, but they still feel exceedingly bulky and, well, ungainly. It doesn't help that I want to wrap my hand securely around the grip. The hook that holds the barrel-and-clip part; it could be sturdier. That's pretty minor though.

    What others should know:

Remove the grips and use a piece of cloth/whatever. It feels better that way - or you could go to the lengths of having custom grips made. Lead pellets will be stuck in the barrel at about the last 10-15 shots BE WARNED and have some sort of ramrod nearby - or use steel BBs. It's also louder with steel BBs. Oh, and don't ever slam it closed. The hook that holds the barrel part in place can and will loosen if abused.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy is very good up to about 30 feet with a 2" to 3" grouping, it feels good in the hand, and I like the ease of reloading.

    Things I would have changed:

The part that holds the break-barrel in place should be built a little sturdier, but if you don't abuse it then this gun will last a long time, I have had mine for some years.

    What others should know:

    Excellent value for the price.

    Rating 1.01.0 1.0

    Things I liked:

I like the size, it fits my hands like a true revolver would. The single and double action is smooth as butter.

    Things I would have changed:

The accuracy on my gun is horrid, 12" groups at 20 feet with crosman pointed pellets. With bb's it's not even worth telling. The rifling is fine and the velocity is where it's supposed to be so maybe it's just bad, I guess that happens.

    What others should know:

It is mostly plastic and isn't super sturdy and as I mentioned mine is inaccurate. Thought other reviews say different so take it with a pinch of salt.

    Things I liked:

Good fun gun, cheap enough, diggin the power

    Things I would have changed:

Loud, quite big, would love interchangeable barrels, a 4 or 2.5 inch barrel would blow my mind, i'd pay any money for one of those

    What others should know:

    Things I liked:

    Accuracy, power, adjustable sights.

    Things I would have changed:

The faux design in the clip that doesn't align with pattern on the pistol.

    What others should know:

I have had two of these pistols. The first one lasted from when I was in junior high school until I was in my 30s. The second is still shooting well. I will admit I take it out only sporadically. The more recent pistol isn't made quite at well as the first one I had, but it is still serviceable. This gun is quite accurate and packs a decent punch. Having adjustable sites is fantastic. The option for a 10 shot clip, beyond the 6 shot stock clip, is very helpful. You have to keep in mind that it is a pistol, not a rifle. While the range is shorter it is still ok for small game or pests. This pistol has a break action barrel, after a while the mechanism that holds the barrel closed can wear out. There is a push to release and close button, you should make sure to fully push the button not just swing the barrel open and closed. That said the pistol did last quite a while, probably through a bit of mishandling while I was a kid. I have had some really bad bb or pellet pistols; this one is pretty darn good, especially at the price. I honestly wish I could find an automatic looking pistol that performs as well as this.

    Things I liked:

This pistol is just plain fun to shoot. It may not be as accurate as my Beeman P17, but it holds 10 pellets and shoots them (when it's warm outside) just as fast as I can squeese the trigger. When I'm plinking like that, superb accuracy isn't my top priority. It's also a good option when I'm letting my 9 year old shoot with me-- he can focus on shooting/accuracy and isn't turned off by difficulties with pumping up a pneumatic.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

I've been impressed with the number of shots I get per CO2 cartridge. On a recent 60 degree day I was able to get at least 70 shots at nearly full-strength.

    Things I liked:

I Have had this gun for about eight weeks now and so far I am very pleased with the accuracy and functionality of this gun. It performs just as good if now better than the more expensive than the Smith & Dan Wesson's. It does what it say it does.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing because it would increase the price of the gun.

    What others should know:

    Great Value and Performance.

    Things I liked:

This gun is powerful and accurate. It keeps me in practice for my regular handguns during the winter and costs less to shoot. I have not tried any laser sights on this yet but the adjustable sights are very accurate. I wuould have given this a 5 star rating except for the problems I had with the BB cartridge. (see below)

    Things I would have changed:

I kept having problems with the bb cartridge. BB's kept falling out of the cartridge. Then I remembered the H&N round lead balls that I had purchased before for another gun. I tried these and they fit perfectly in the cartridge and also seem to have more power. These are the 4.45 8.2 grain and I have no problems with these in this weapon.

    What others should know:

I don't know if you are supposed to use the lead balls in this gun but I have had no problems and have had improved accuracy using these

    Things I liked:

Nice feel in the hand; great, and consistent shooter; I get a good 70-80 shots from one CO2 cartridge at around 70-degree ambient temperature in my indoor range.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe a little softer spring under the barrel-to-frame latch. I practically need to stand on the release button in order to open the gun for reloading.

    What others should know:

Buy a couple extra packs of pellet-clips, many cans of pellets, and get the 40-unit boxes of CO2 cartridges, 'cause this is a really fun gun to shoot. Take a fine file and deburr the barrel-frame latch, and slightly round off the top corners of the latch, itself. The latch is steel, and the latch retainer is part of the barrel assembly which is plastic. If not deburred, the sharp steel chews pretty hard into the plastic, and may eventually allow a loose hook-up between barrel and frame. If I had had one of these when I was a kid, my home county would have sunken from the weight of expended pellets. Like I said... this is a FUN to shoot gun.:-)

The weight feels good, over all it feels great to hold.

    Things I would have changed:

I would upgrade the hammer and guts of it, they are just not up to par.

    What others should know:

After about 50 feet the aim is way off.

    Things I liked:

Fully adjustable rear sights, double/single action, looks impressive rather than toyish. Great for plinking/target shooting. The pellet chamber is excellent, but pellets will pop out a bit if stored in it for longer than 2 days.

    Things I would have changed:

The grips are low quality- you can feel them flex and hear them creak when you grip the gun.

    What others should know:

The BB chamber doesn't seem to work. You shouldn't shoot this gun at or below 40 degrees Fahrenheit/4.44 Celsius. The gun is something like half plastic, but most of that plastic is well done/nice.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

This is a great value and the gun really feels great in the hand. I'm a revolver guy at heart and this really fills that void better than most models can. This has quickly become a favorite with the kids. The double action trigger pull isn't too heavy for them like some of the other guns they've tried. I bought it to shoot pellets out of but I've quickly changed to preferring the 6 shot BB clips. These are much easier and quicker to load and just as accurate. Don't get me wrong, the pellet clips are fun too and offer 10 shots. But there is nothing like a classic 6 shooter when you are talking about a revolver. I just wish someone would make a colt 1873 replica again.

    Things I would have changed:

The grips seem prone to breakage because they are only held on with some thin plastic clips. I haven't had any problems with them but time will tell. Everything else is great.

    What others should know:

Be sure to buy additional pellet and BB clips. You aren't going to want to put this thing down. I get about 70 good shots from a CO2 cartridge which is perfect for the amount of shooting I do.

    Things I liked:

This pistol is a 10 shot pellet repeater vs. 8 or 6 shots from most of the other brands. As far as I know this is the exact same gun as crosmans 357 model. Except it has an upper and lower rail to add a red dot and or a laser sight. This is why I chose the vigilante over the 357 model. Cause I'm a red dot/scope junkie. If I have a gun with a rail on it 9/10 times it has either a red dot or scope mounted on it. This pistol has a rifled barrel, and there for excellent accuracy. From a bench rest at 50' I've shot 10 shot groups as small as 1.25" using crosman destroyers, or crosman premier hollow points. Great for plinking soda cans up to 60' or so. I get 70 full power shots from one co2 cartridge. The single action is really smooth, and easy to stay on target. For a $55.00 pistol, what's not to like!

    Things I would have changed:

The double action of this pistol isn't the smoothest, but again for a $55 dollar gun, you really can't complain. I shoot mostly single action anyway for the better accuracy.

    What others should know:

A heck of a lot cheaper than shooting .38spl. or .357mags all day. (.22lr. even) If your a real life revolver shooter, like myself. This pistol is a no brainer. Buy it you'll like it! Don't forget to buy an extra 3pk. of ten round clips for $5.95. There worth every penny. DON'T TREAD ON ME!
