I am very happy with this gun. After about 75 shots the gun was broke in. It is powerful and Accurate. The service from Pyramydair was good. I selected the 10 for 10 service and felt confident when the gun arrived everything would be good, and it was. Nice product and service.
Things I would have changed:None
What others should know:This gun is a fun shooter.

I liked the look and feel of this pistol, and the rotary magazines.
Things I would have changed:Unfortunately, some plastic parts that rotate the magazines break or wear out very quickly. The magazines and the mechanism to rotate them should be metal! While mine was fairly accurate, a fully adjustable rear sight would have been nice.
What others should know:A friend and I each bought one of these at the same time, and had the same failure within a few days of each other a few weeks after purchase. I could not recommend this pellet/bb pistol unless Crosman updates the design with metal parts in critical areas. Definitely not worth what I paid for it! I believe that a replacement would have failed in the same way in a similarly short time.

The way it feels and handles.
Things I would have changed:Like to have it work.
What others should know:After two months I had trouble piercing the cartridge, and when I did it pressure dropped very quickly. Very poor accuracy.Did not fire all pellets because the magazine did not consistently line up with the barrel. I do not recommend purchasing this pistol.

Good looks. Comfortable grip. Adjustable rear sight. Accessory rail. Powerful (on double action only).
Things I would have changed:The trigger pull on double action is way too hard. My hand starts to shake after just a few shots, making accuracy impossible. On single action the trigger pull is very good, but the pellet velocity is unacceptably low, probably less than 200 fps, but my gun may be defective.
What others should know:I'm returning this gun and asking Pyramyd to send a replacement ONLY if the replacement can achieve the advertised pellet velocity of 400 fps on double action.

The Crosman Iceman shooting 5gr lead free wadcutter pellets is accurate enough to produce 1 inch groups at 7 meters. Having an adjustable rear sight is a real plus. With minor modifications it comfortable to shoot and has a reasonably light trigger especially when shooting single action.
Things I would have changed:Out of the box the Crosman Iceman misfired 4 out of 8 times or worst. I was about ready to return it when I noticed the misfired pellets remaining in the clip had marks on their faces from striking the left side of the barrel preventing them from exiting the clip. With this clue I was able to identify two plastic halves of the shroud assembly (ICM-100) were separating just enough to allow the barrel to move out of alignment with the clip. Some warranty voiding disassembly, careful application of Crazy Glue, and reassembly without the shroud spring (106-021) fixed the problem. I left out the shroud spring since the interlock provided enough up force to raise the shroud assembly and makes it easier to close and latch. With a significantly more reliable performance I focused on improving the pistol's ergonomics by rounding edges on the right side of the trigger guard and flattening out the sharp curve to the trigger end. Lastly, I removed the safety guard from the right side.
What others should know:When I took apart the shroud assembly I noticed Crosman is relying of a friction fit of studs or pins on one half of the shroud into sockets on the other half to hold things together. Each of the sockets had failed with a single lengthwise crack. This suggests design design defect as the root cause of the problem I experienced.

A 1008 by any other Name, would be called an "IceMan", But seriously, even though you can't get over how similar the two shooters are, The "IceMan" comes out on top in terms of weight, and Performance,It fires w/ a little more Authority, and is definitely more Accurate, Shot count remains about the same. As with it's similar counter-part, I found that in Lead it's favourite pellet was the Crosman Premier Super Point, In Alloy, I found the *New* Winchester "Max Velocity" pellets https://www.pyramydair.com/product/winchester-maximum-velocity-pellets-177-cal-4-32-grains-domed-lead?p=1171 to come out on top over H&N FTT's & Baracuda's
Things I would have changed:A bit better on the Polymer that's used would be a Beautiful added "Touch", and I'm sure the "Tech" boy's can bring this shooter closer to the 495 fps mark!, and as alway's,,,,,A .22 shooter of this model would be a Fantastic offering,,,,,C'Mon Crosman, Boldly Go where No-One has gone(since the Daisy 622X anyways), and put out a Multi-Shot Co2 Pistol in .22!!!!!(Other than the 2240).
What others should know:A Decent "Backyard" Plinker that'll bring you some fun on the days when you just can't go out. Cheer's Andy.

Very light in my hand, good power with a new CO2 cartridge. Not sure about accuracy yet, need to do a lot more test firing to be sure. I think I'm learning that heavy ammo is pretty much always more accurate, just ened to find the right weight and style for a particular gun.

Things I would have changed:smaller frame, this is large and bulky

A nice gun for plinking in the garden. Shoots best with bbs or crosman pellets, they need to be light. I tried shooting Remington tyrants and they would not fire well. I have put 2500 rounds through the gun. If you want an accurate target pistol dont bother with the iceman, however if you just want to shoot cans in the garden its great fun. After 5 mags the power drops, I tend to change the bulb after 6 mags.
Things I would have changed:Shame it doesnt have fibre optic sites like the beeman P17. I have had a few misfires where the breach opens and the mag flies at you. Plastic mags and mechanism also wear causing mis fires, however 2500 rounds ,not sure what the life expectancy is of the mag and mechanism. Also the safety catch is a bit odd. Power is very low in cold weather. Shooting with bbs you wont have a problem with misfires. Wear safety glasses as bbs do tend to ricochet and mags self eject into your face when the pellet misfires.
What others should know:You get what you pay for, in the uk I paid 79 pound for the kit I. Sure they are way cheaper in the USA. Good fun gun. The neatest you will get to shooting semi automatics in the uk is a co2 pistol.
