Crosman AK1 Full-Auto Reviews

It feels amazing, looks amazing. Shoots straight, and actually fairly hard for a full auto replica. Lots of rails, sturdy. And it's so cheap for all the stuff you get! Just worthwhile no matter how you look at it.

Small things, like the stock folding having a catch so it didn't move much when folded, being a bit easier to disassemble, and being a bit less prone to jams. I am not sure why, but sometimes it jams after firing in full auto in short bursts, even with fresh CO2. It however is just fixed by pulling the charging handle back and letting it go, which is honestly kinda cool.

The set comes with a small allen key to remove the rear iron sight and with a speedloader. So, the BB speedloader isn't very good, but it's definitely mandatory. Since the follower has a little notch where you can rest it at the very base, using the included "adapter" is just clunky and not necessary, remove it for easier use. It also feels a bit flimsy, so I'd rather use the Barra speed loader sold here in PyramydAir. The front muzzle can be removed and you can use other attachments, but honestly it works fairly well at reducing the noise a bit.

Like the selection of full auto or semi-auto mode for shooting. Was able to mount a scope on the top.

Change the magazine round from 28 to 50 or 75 rounds if possible. The two co2 cartridges do take up some of that space so it may not be possible to make it a 75-round magazine.

Like the feel and look of a real AK gun.

The loading of the CO2 cartridges was a joke. I went through 10 of them before I could get them to seat without losing all the air.

Allen wrench is to short runs into the bottom of the clip while trying to tighten. I think the Allen screws need a concave to center up the cartridge.

I'm not a big fan of the mag design, especially since mine leaks out of box, but the airgun itself has a nice ROF and accuracy. Worth buying but don't be like me and realize the mag is garbage after the exchange date ends, lol.

This is a very authentic rifle! Weight, action and feel of a real weapon. I love it having four rails for adding additional scope, light, etc. I use this for practice with the reel weapon. Highly recommend!

This is a solid full auto BB gun that ranks up with the very best. So much fun to shoot. However there are some things lacking compared to the DPMS.

We need a 300 round resevoir mag for this gun too! Scale factor does not come close to the DPMS. You cannot field strip

Sort of an AK. The folding stock is a nice touch, and the milspec tube accepts other stocks. Accuracy is not good. The sights will not adjust to POI, so I put an old Sightmark red dot on it.

It would increase the value, to me at least, if it could be taken down like a real AK. The Umarex Uzi is an example that should be simple to follow. Crosman did such a good job on their AR DMPS, I was hoping they would do the same on this.

It weighs 8 libs & looks & feels & fires almost like real.

If you get a BB stuck in the spring it's easy to fix.

Get one or two extra magazines.
It looks so real I would advise never taking it out the house unless you are in the country.

Obviously I like the fully automatic feature. I like all the rail options.

The first thing I would change is the folding stock on the back should come off if so desired.

Very tight grouping even in fully auto, I like this gun and I have fun with it.

This rifle is extremely well built. Very tough.. Has some heft to it, but is comfortable in the firing position. Folding stock, quad rail, and is accurate.

A Velcro hold system for butt stock, or magnetic.

Very accurate for a smooth bore .177 caliber.

It would be great to have a clip with 4 co2s and 100 rounds. Probably be a long mag. Would also be nice to have the same gun in the classic AK-47 style.

Well worth the money. Was surprised at how well the gun was built. Had no problem removing the magazine as some have reported. Well pleased.

Would be nice to have a higher capacity magazine although 28 rounds are sufficient. Would like to have a AK-47 that looks like an original AK.

A good value and fun to shoot. Be aware of where safety selector is positioned. Pyramid had the best price and service was great. Great value all around.

Fill and looks like an AK47. The magazine has a close fill of loaded 47 mag . The sites remind me of the AK . It works great I have put close to 1500 bbs.

Make sure you place oil on the top of co2 tube.

Not too much wrong with this Air Rifle. Possibly a rare earth magnet to hold the folding stock folded.??

I originally bought the AK1 Full Auto in the beginning of December 2020 and the mag fitting was absolutely impossible. I promptly returned it for full refund.

This edition has no mag issues at all and the plastic molding detailing seems to be of a better quality.
It shoots solid and is almost too much fun and spot on accurate.
