    Things I liked:

Gret rifle. Hardy and lightweight just like the 1022 it copies. It has nice fiber optic light pipe on the fron sight tht compliments the rear notch iron sights. I scoped mine and shot a couple of caterpillars off a leaf at about 20 feet, no kidding, it's that good. Best value for the price unless you wanna be a heavy hitter nd invest in hundreds of $$ for the .22's that need a scuba tank or something. The monte carlo stock makes it easy to level up for shots and the cheap spare mags are a must if you really want to enjoy this gun. I love the way the mag box drops and it is easy to maintain.

    Things I would have changed:

I have no issues with the little whipper snapper. It is well designed for what you get and pay for.

    What others should know:

Scope it. The $$ you save on this baby should put into getting good heavy ammo, lots of CO2 and a gun case to keep it in. You will be keeping this gun for a long time if you look after it well. Crossman has a winner here. Kudos!

Fun little snapper. Light, easy to shoot, and change clips. 12 shots fast as you want to.

    Things I would have changed:

    I wouldn't change anything. I bought two.

    What others should know:

Buy extra clips 4.99 for a three pack. you will get about 45 strong shots before power begins to drop.

    Things I liked:

It is a Crosman, made right here at home in the USA. The firing mechanism is really cool in that this rifle is actually a double action revolver, and it works extremely well. I grew up loving Crosman air guns, which were always a step above the Daisy's, although I had a Daisy Model 95 Woodstock that was pretty darn good. The Crosmans just always had a better product in my opinion, and more innovative designs. I thought the 1077 would be cheesy, but even with all of the plastic it is a well made, light weight, and awesome plinker for the small price of $65 bucks.

    Things I would have changed:

Crosman would do well to make the 1077 be able to hold an 88 gram Air Source tank in the forearm, rather than the add on Rube Goldberg thing available at the present time. They could massage the forearm a bit and presto!....no more big tank hanging out in the breeze.

    What others should know:

Mine came with the rear sight tilted to the right. It was a little twisted from the factory. I had to remove it and tweak it back with pliers and needlenose pliers. It's perfect now. The double action trigger pull is easy to deal with but it's a little odd at first, but the trigger travels back a ways at first and then you can feel where the trigger is at the point where the squeeze is short with a clean break.. All in all this is good old Crosman USA quality at a stupidly low price. Get the extra pellet cylinders (they call it a "speed loading kit") and an extra magazine because since the rifle itself is so cheap you can afford them! I'd like to also say that Pyramyd Air is my favorite air gun vendor. Thanks Pyramyd.

    Things I liked:

Fun gun.wife likes the --push safety off and fire away--operation.i like the accuracy and a lot easier to shoot accurately because of no movement when you fire.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe a metal scope mount but with such light recoil perhaps it's not required

    What others should know:

I've owned pump guns and breakbarrels but i'm going to stay with the CO2 from here on.It may cost more per round to shoot CO2 but the heartburn of using the other two makes it worth the extra cost.

    Things I liked:

This is an update to my first review( also the first review of this 1077 Combo). I've now had many chances to shoot this rifle in warm summer temps, and it is even more accurate. Also, I was having a problem getting the Centerpoint 4x32 focused so that both the crosshairs and the bullseye were in sharp focus at the same time.I bought a nice Leapers 3x9 airgun scope with adjustable objective, and this scope did the trick! It is also allowing me to get maximum accuracy out of the gun. The guns taste in pellets has changed somewhat. It now loves the RWS Hobby wadcutters along with the Crosman Premier wadcutters and hollow points. It does great with Beeman Laser Sports, and, for a cheap pellet, Beeman #1230 pellets do pretty well too. These look just like the Beeman Silver Bears only with a coating apparently. The trigger is much better with the shooting of many pellets too. I have never had a jam or failure to feed a pellet, with the exception of the possible skipping of one pellet in the clip if I let off on the trigger after say, a squeeze that took me to 75% through the trigger cycle-and then letting off on the trigger. To aoid this, I keep a bit of pressure on the trigger and take a few breathes, and then continue the squeeze. The trigger operates in stages, but the final stage is predictable and actually fairly precise, again, allowing me to get some very nice groups.

    Things I would have changed:

I now believe I would have been better off to just buy the rifle with no scope, and then to have bought the Leapers 3x9 airgun scope, or another scope with adjustable objective, or maybe even a red dot scope.

    What others should know:

To see how many "good" shots per CO2 cartridge in warmer weather, I loaded a new CO2 cartridge, dry fired one shot, and then started shooting groups from a rest. I took maybe 30 seconds at least per shot. I shot five shot groups at ten yards, and got some very nice groups. I kept a close count of shots fired. At shot #44, it dropped a bit. I took one more shot just to verify that the previous one wasn't a "flyer", and it wasn't. The 45th shot dropped even more, and I was running low on CO2. So, at least in warm weather, I seem to be able to get 43 good, consistent shots before the pellets begin dropping off in power. I wouldn't mind getting a QB78 Deluxe, but from what I've read, my 1077 is at least as accurate and cheaper, and its a Crosman. The QB78 though is all metal.

    Things I liked:

It brings the fun back to shooting an air gun. And the light weight makes it easy for junior marksmen. Over the years I've snobbed my way up through various Beeman, RWS, FWB, etc., / springers, PCP, etc. This rifle makes me feel like a kid again, waiting for the body to shed 40 years.

    What others should know:

It shot a little to the right so I went downrange and moved the target to the right to compensate and fired again. It still shot to the right, so I moved the target again---shot---same result. What am I doing wrong? (snicker)

    Things I liked:

lightwieght ,super accuracy with open sight on a quick reflex on a small game,12 round rotary magazine,it nice that its real cheap gun to buy,1 co2 get me 55 power shot and 3 more dying shot it (means low on air),the best is the quick FOLLOW UP on rabbit(double tap) you could spray the rabbit or squirrel with pellet and it doesnt hurt that THERES NO RECOIL,AND LESS NOISE THAN A BREAK BARREL,i now use RWS HYPER MAX becusssss it can genrate to 800 (fpss) with penetration capabilities and accuracy,,both of them combined means a deadlier effect on a varmint problem, anything over 1000 fps shooting ammo wil create a sound barrier(crack noise) thats why these rifle is perfect for this job....

    Things I would have changed:

nothing but maybe increase load on the magazine coz its fun shooting it...

    What others should know:

it comes wiht 1 magazine so buy more, and sure the co2 is press all the way so yo wont lose air and shots

Lightweight and repeater make this very easy to use.Great for setting targets up and not have to mess with single pellet loading.Enough power for me anyway. For this price its perfect.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

At first time testing out this rifle got over 40 shots a cylinder c02.After that a noticable decrease in velocity.Still very good for 1 c02.Gamo PBA raptors and Berreta sabot flat nose pellets turn this rifle into a Powerfull /high velocity rapid fire shooter,Cool,,,and fun to use on my days off.

    Things I liked:

Repeater action is perfect!!12 rounds/ one right after the other.Light weight is great for carrying without fatigue.Sure it is plastic but very durable and good for wet weather usage. Is also upgradeable to larger c02.But i am keeping this one as it came, gets over 40 shots per cylinder and is good enough for me.All shots when first tested were on the dot/no mis-fires either.A drop or two of pellgun oil in pellet containers before loading mag lets em' fire perfect also.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing.but if or when a .22 version comes along ,i will probably buy.

    What others should know:

This rifle is Outstanding with Gamo PBA Raptors.625 fps is the rating Crosman did with a middle weight pellet.Raptors are lighter and harder metal alloy which penetrated clear through a heavy metal can(both sides,at 25 feet.Beeman hollow points are good for use also. And Crosman pointed field pellets work great also for short range targets.I also tried Beretta flat nose yellow plastic sabot type .177's and these are "explosive" in penetration of targets i set up at 15 feet. This is one very quiet rifle when sooting. At first when i shot it i didnt think it had much power but after checking targets,it does ,enough for me any way.Very nice rifle by Crosman ,i gota give it a 5 on all ratings.I've owned crosman air guns in past and to this day they are still #1 with me .Just a little maintenance once in a while and dont abuse and they will last a lifetime.

    Things I liked:

The gun is very accurate. I bought it to teach my boys the basics of shooting before we hit the M4s. Their ages are 14, 7, and 4. Believe it or not but the 4 year old could pull the trigger using 2 fingers. He can hit the spinner targets about 5 times out of one clip. I think that says a lot aobut this rifle. It is very versatile and a great deal. It is not too loud and it packs more power than I thought it would.

    Things I would have changed:

I think for what you are buying it doesn't need anyhting changed.

Perfect gun for target shooting!Repeater function is great for non-stop shooting.Light weight is also good for less fatigue or even aiming without problems .

    Things I would have changed:

nothing. If a .22 version comes out ,,i probably buy at a heart beat.

    What others should know:

The most velocity i noticed was from a Gamo PBA pellet. And a Beeman hollow point worked well also ,they almost nearly split a metal can in half from 15 feet after about 25 shots.Low noise when shot but, power is very good.satisfied ,thanks Pyramyd air.

    Things I liked:

This is one cool /easy to use air rifle by Crosman.Has more power than expected. When first tested a few miles out of city i noticed it was very quiet/low noise. And now i think this air gun is low enough in noise to use in my back yard without allerting neighbors or frightening pets .I basically wanted it for target shooting and this rifle was more than expected .Easy to use and can be upgraded with larger co2 kit.Lighweight and great design by Crosman.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing.I thought the hollow stock would be cheap .It actually is very durable plastic and makes the weight lower and easier to handle,Very good weather resistant.Probably use some good plastic preserver (Armor all) to keep it in Top notch condition. If or when a .22 model appears i will buy it.

    What others should know:

First 12 round clip i tested was Gamo master point ,And they worked fair on penetrating through a metal food container. But not even entry holes because Gamo master points pancake when hit then leave a ripping hole.Second 12 rounds were Gamo PBA raptor,WOW these went through metal can and 1/4 way through small phone book with almost perfect holes on can.Expensive pellet but, works perfect in this rifle.3rd & 4th clip i used Beeman silver bear high impact hollow points. This is a very good pellet also and had no problem going through metal containers.15 feet was distance i did test from and once i mount my scope soon, i want to try at 30 foot range.Over all this rifle is perfect for target shooting, as for hunting, that i havent done.

    Things I liked:

This airgun is a great value, I had no problem w/the synthetic stock, it is well done and a joy to hold. The trigger is easy to get used to, after you play with the tab a few times as B>B> suggested the let off becomes predictable. My scope didn't come w/the gun so I mounted my Leapers bug buster and what a combo this makes, a real hole driller. In order to use the lens caps, I had to remove the rear sight., Oh yes

    Things I would have changed:

Can't think of a thing, For the price this is a bargain , the open sights are great, the accuracy is top notch and on top of all this it is a repeater, you won't have any bulging muscles.

    What others should know:

A couple of times the gun did not eject the pellet from the clip, I think it was the speed loader it might have cocked the pellet off a little on pressing it into the clip, otherwise it works great. Anyone interested in purchasing a 1077 should read and download B.B. Pelletier's blog it is gospel. I'm still using Crosman competitions & Premiers in 7.9 Wadcutters. Well satisified!

    Things I liked:

Purchased ten of these. Price is great. Very accurate. I had to return/exchange one rifle out of ten due to the fact that it consistently shot about 2 inches high at 40 feet even with max correction in rear site. It was 1 inch groups but high. Had to sight in the ten we got for the Cub Scout pack but that was easy enough. Liked the speed loaders, get extra clips.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger pull is a bit much for 1st and 2nd graders, (Tiger and Wolf Cub Scouts). This caused a lot of jams between pellet, clip and barrel. It works like a revolver as one previous poster stated. I put 250+ pellets through 10 different rifles and did not have a single issue. Older boys 3rd grade and up did not have an issue with the trigger. Just explain to them that if they pull the trigger half way then release it they are skipping a pellet. Rear site adjustment is easy but crude. Click adjustment would be a major improvement.

    What others should know:

This rifle is just a little long for 1st and 2nd graders. We only got good air from a 12g cartridge for three clips, 36 pellets due to the fact that the younger boys would just keep pulling the trigger after they had shot 12 shots. It would be a very nice feature if the clip rotation would stop when it was empty.

    Things I liked:

I had this gun for years now and shot thousands of pellets with it. The gun is very confortable, light weigt and of course you have that 12 shot clip ...taktaktaktaktaktaktaktaktaktaktaktak... and its empty just love it. Very easy to sight down to the target and just so accurate (touch a quarter 20 yards away standing position) and it can take impacts and hits and drops and... it still works like a charm

    Things I would have changed:

The rear sight: you cant adjust for windage(actually you can but with a screw driver you have to loose a screw adjust and tigh it back.. not too fast and accurate besides you might not be able to sight it back to zero so just leave the factory setting) and the elevation adjust is there but in 4 or 5 clics (its like a slide of little steps) not for precision tuning and it quite hard to get the sight back down.......So: I would have enjoyed a fully adjustable rear sight

    What others should know:

Well there s a rail for a scope but has to be with high base or the rear sight will keep you from fixing it on (the front part of the scope can interrfere with it). Anyway... its just such a fun pellet rifle worth a 100 bucks

    Things I liked:

Light weight, accurate, easy to handle. The 12 shot clip makes casual shooting fun.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger was a little tricky to get used to as it pushs the clip forward each time to fire. At first not happy with it as I could never tell whether the clip was advancing or not. Took a little time to get used to.

    What others should know:

Over all the gun turned out to be a lot of fun to shoot. Accurate and easy to handle for casual plinking and fun shooting. I don't hunt so the power is just fine. The 12 shot clip once used to turned out to make it fun by not reloading each time. Not a labor intensive gun so us weaklings can have fun shooting when ever we want. I am glad I didn't get the larger CO2 tank. Don't have a lot of time to shoot and it gets about 40 shots per powerlet which is fine. Over all a fun gun to have to just have fun shooting.

    Things I liked:

I love crosman products. accuracy is dead on, weight (with 12g co2) is nice and light, draws to the shoulder fairly good my size at 5'9", multi-shot, upgradeable powersource, materials are great for outdoors. i actually like the magazine/rotary clip combo. day-glow front sight.

    Things I would have changed:

This gun is PERFECT as it is, but if i want to get picky: make in .22 and somehow allow for longer pellets in the mag/rotarary clip combo or allow for single loading. i prefer peep sights over blades for the rear and shrouds over the front sight.

    What others should know:

I did buy the airsource upgrade and love it, however, it does add significant weight to the gun, changes the center of gravity/balance, and alters your grip, though i actually like it now that i can use the upgrade as a very sturdy front grip.. the airsource upgrade has a turn off valve so u can take it off and insert a 12g without losing all ur co2 in the airsource. STOP complaining about this guns trigger; it is a revolver and works just like it should. IMO this trigger works much better when you have a smooth, intentional pull. if you hesitate that when the action of the trigger begins to affect accuracy. hole in hole shots are not uncommon at 60ft from prone/supported position. this gun like many different types of ammo, though it does seem to prefer 1. Crosman premiers 2. Bearcubs.

Styling, light weight, accuracy, POWER, POWER, POWER, quiet, semi auto, 12 round clips, fiber optic sights, 6 clips(72 shots) per co2 cartridge, etc. etc. etc. What's not to like???? I LOVE IT!!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Do an upgraded model in addition to this using the synthetic polymer with more heft. Yes, it would be more money but this gun is so good that nicer materials would give it more credibility.

    What others should know:

For the price this is a must have. A great step up from the Red Ryder which I've been using in the back yard for plinking plastic soda bottles. Has the low noise of a cap pistol with the impact of a much higher priced gun. The most noise I create is the pellet WHACKING horizons plastic bottles. No kickback so accuracy is primo. No need for a scope. Buy plenty of clips because this one is fun to shoot.
