Colt SAA Pellet Nickel Reviews

I bought the Nickel version. The gun looks great. It has a good trigger and it's very accurate. There are a good amount of shots per CO2 cartridge and it has good power. The 8.2 grain pellets that I used hit at point of aim. This could be used as a practice tool for cowboy action shooters. It should last for years with proper care.

Nothing on the Nickel version. I would like to see a blued version made with the same markings as the Nickle version.

The box is really cool.

The fit and finish was very good. The weight was very close to the original SAA. The way you load it was very nice to the original. Over all I'm extremely happy with this Colt peacemaker pellet revolver and enjoy plinking with it.

I would love to see a nice set of wood grips on it.

Authenticity plus the weight and feel is perfect, especially for practice with a quick draw holster rig. In addition the price of ammo (pellets) compared to real 45 cal. ammo is perfect for practice shooting at targets.

Only thing is the hammer does not close all the way, ( but this does not effect how the gun performs.

Make sure to get extra cartridges, you use them quickly .

This gun cannot be missing from your collection, perfect finish, good shots and super accurate.

I love my new Colt Nickel SAA Pellet Revolver. The heft of it as well as the fit & finish is without flaw. I bought the faux wooden grips which sets off the beauty of this gun.

I'm just being a bit petty here, but the removal of the grip to install the CO2 cartridge is a challenge. Lastly, the trigger is a bit gritty, but I'm learning where it breaks pretty well.

This gun is a welcome addition to my collection and my 1st Old West gun. It's a beauty, that's for sure.

This is the second Colt saa co2 Ive purchased I really like the looks and feel when handling. The finish on the this pistol is Top noch. Wonderful for all us ole time western fans.

With mine I get around 50 good shots, I was expecting to get more. Get some extra cartridges.

I was very pleased with the gun. The gun had good weight and it had a lot of punch when it was fired. I like the style of the gun and over all the gun itself was excellent. How fast the order came to me was really good.

This gun is built well, has a great feel, is made of metal and to top it all off it is very accurate! I purchased the pellet gun version and it has a rifled barrel which I am sure helps with the accuracy. I enjoy shooting it, my sons enjoy shooting it and all my grand kids love shooting it!

I wish the handles were not plastic but I do not know how you would put the CO 2 cartridge in there any other way. Really nice gun

I like this gun, it looks good, feels good, fun to shoot and well built, but I received one that was not at all accurate. Otherwise I would have given it all 5 stars. I sent it back to Pyramid Air and they sent a replacement, I should have it in September, hopefully this one will be a 5 star gun.

If possible adjust the hammer so it is at a full rest.

The fit and finish on this colt was second to none. I was very surprised when opening the box to find something of this quality at this price point. After loading the pellets into the supplied realistic nickel shells ,I went to my target area to try it out. It was very easy to line up my target and hit it immediately. This is very accurate at 25 yrds. Love this Colt!!

Supply extra shells, as this takes time to reload if you don't have a handful of spares.

Buy this accurate representation of Colt Peacemaker. You won't be sorry. Finest I have purchased so far. My favorite gun. I even like this better that my regular firearms as it causes no neighbor anxiety.

I have both a colt 45 and a schofield #3 if manufacturers could make that in a rifled barrel that would be nice !

Beautiful gun, excellent craftsmanship, great trigger pull, nice little pop.

Something is wrong with this gun. I honestly expected more from a pellet gun with a rifled barrel, but this gun shoots all over the place. I get better accuracy from my smoothbore BB pistol. The gun shoots 2-3 inches to the left from 20 feet and no real grouping whatsoever, and there is usually one or two wild shots that are 4-5 inches off target. This is bench shooting, too. I'm wondering if there is a cylinder that is not lining up with the barrel well enough.

The accuracy of this gun is a limiting factor on what you want to do with this gun.

Has look and feel and weight/balance of an actual SAA. Is quite accurate for a plinker. Fairly quiet. Lots of fun with this one! Loading/unloading using cartridges, loading gate, and hammer at half-cock just like the real deal. Hammer has several clicks on cocking, just like the real deal.

Sights on original SAAs are poor. Notch in rear and width of blade are both narrow and notch is shallow. I got the nickel plated version and sun glint makes it difficult to see and get lined up. This is one thing that Umarex should not have copied so closely. I painted back of front sight bright orange (fingernail Polish) and that helps, but does not alleviate the issue. Sights set up for target hold (shoots about one inch high at 20 feet.) Lateral point of aim right on the money.

Beautiful finish. Weight and balance very close to the real thing. I also like the fact that the wrench for the CO2 is a part of the grip.
