The realism!

Can't think of anything that I would would change if I could.

I haven't had to time to test the accuracy Yet. The craftsmanship and attention to detail makes me not even want to shoot it! It's amazing and worth every last dollar!

The finish on this gun is flawless and very attractive. Also the Colt logo in the handle is eye catching and sets this pistol off. I love the weight and feel of this revolver and it is accurate to boot! A definite must addition to any collector and shooter.

With a gun this nice they could make an addition of real wood grips.

I've got a real nice collection of many of the PyramydAir pistol and this is definitely one that stands out. You can't miss with the quality and price of this Colt Python Chrome.

Positively gorgeous chrome finish on this revolver. I have the blue one, now I have both. They shoot really well for BB guns and they invite a real pride of ownership built into them by Umarex/Colt that is hard to pass up. They really have some heft to them being they both weigh almost 3 lbs. each. I once owned both nickel and blued Python .357's at one time. Now the real thing is really cost prohibitive on today's market. Bravo to Umarex for even deciding to market such a beautiful airgun.

I suppose Umarex had their reasons for the pistol having so much play in the cylinder and the cylinder latch, but it is the same on the blue one also. By far it is not a rickety problem but allows for certain firing tolerances that allow it to fire BB's so accurately. The brown grips are OK, but I wish Umarex would have come out with a wood (style) grips just like they are on the real Python.

This is really a gem in the field of air pistols. something that inspires pride of ownership, but performs in the spirit of competition.

The construction of this revolver is solid and the weight and heft is one of the best in representing the real Python. Shooting is easy and fun and accuracy is the best of any of the seven C02 pistols that I own. I would not hesitate to pick up this revolver when I need the most accurate in my collection. Sights are adjustable and make accuracy easy. Shells load easily and slide in and out of the chambers effortlessly. Simulating a real Python is what makes this item so much fun. This is by far, my favorite target pistol. I love the chrome finish.

The few things I would change are minor. I would improve the swing-in latch that locks the cylinder into the frame. Messing with the frame is not quite what it should be and sometimes takes a little fiddling with. The slide release is a major part of this problem. There is far too much play in the latch. I would also change the grip. It is a little bulky but is not objectionable.

This is a heavy pistol, as is the real Python. Holding and shooting takes some getting used to but then, it is a realistic replica and matches the weight with the original it is modeled after. You should also know that shooting this pistol is addictive. It is just plain great fun to use.

Looks almost authentic... the grip makes it look fake.

I'd make the grip a harder plastic or rubber. Nickel plate or something other than the chrome...

Hammer wobbles, safety is hard to put on,

the barrel and cylinder slop is hard to overlook.the 2 dan wessons I own are of a much higher build quality than the python. Very pretty gun but im very disappointed with the rattles when I pick it up.

The weight and finish.

The cylinder seems to be loose and it sometimes gets caught up on the frame and the brown grips don't look anything even close to wood, I would have prefered wood looking or black grips.

The look and shine of the chrome

Have it made in the USA or Germany and not Taiwan

Received mine loaded with finger prints, not mine. To much barrel,lever slop and the barrel release lever sticks and is a finger nail breaker and difficult to swing out barrel. Parts are all cast with no machined surfaces with loose tolerances. Grips are to coarse and hard on the hands. I didn't even fire the gun so no comment on accuracy. Sent back to PA who are super with refunds and returns and have a great staff to deal with.

Very pleased with this gun,its weight,its functions,its finish,everything!Loaded the cylinder with six rounds 17 times with good shots before co2 dropped. There wasn't more than a tiny fart left when I released what was left

Just the availability of the 2.5 inch barrel model. I like the gun so much I got the 6inch barrel in both black and chrome and the 4inch in black(swiss arms). Was hoping to get the 2.5inch to complete the collection.

IF you like the dan wesson you'll be happy with this. The extra speedloader and shells sold here at pm won't be found anywhere cheaper.

The look is very accurate to the real steel. The finish is stunning. MUCH heavier than the Dan Wessons. The accuracy is consistant.

As others have said, the hole in the gun butt for the CO2 loading. A simple plastic snap-in hole plug to cover the hole,with a Colt emblem or pony on it, would do the trick. Better sizing of the crane post to cylinder brass bushing, to eliminate the excessive cylinder slop.

Others have pointed out a loose barrel fit, and the cylinder slop. DO NOT let this stop you from purchasing this gun. These are cast made. The fit can't be expected to be perfect like a real firearm. But both of the fore-mentioned issues are easily fixed after your warranty period expires. (Don't alter your gun at all, until your warranty is up)! This gun isn't as comfortable in your hand as a Dan Wesson if you have small hands.

The gun is fantastic. The chrome finish is much brighter than the dan wesson's,so much that I can see my reflection on the frame.It's action is smooth and it is quite accurate. A high shot count per co2 is also welcome.

Nothing comes to mind about the gun itself, however availability of extra shells without the speedloader would be good.

I have noticed the very, very, slightest up and down wobble of the barrel if manipulated by hand. I have the same gun in black which does not do that.

The look of this item is exceptionally well-crafted. I was stunned when I first held it. Clients will definitely love it.

The hole in the bottom of the grip where you tighten down the co2 Dan Wesson models have the co2 in the grip as well but completely concealed.

When I ran through a chronograph, with a new co2, It would start at 340 and quickly fall to just above 300. That was very disappointing for me. Leaked out half the tank overnight. This is a bb gun, GET THE FPS RIGHT!

I expected this to get the 400 fps it advertises due to no blow back action being used on the co2. This shoots no faster than my blow backs. What is the point? I returned it because I wanted something that would get 400 fps.

Extremely Realistic, Beautiful Finish, Heavy, Accurate, Excellent Price & Value For The Money!

Add Real Wood Grips

Unlike the black version of this gun or Crosman 357 revolvers, this thing looks mind blowingly real. The nickel finish, extremely light trademarks and faux wood grips with gold colt medallions make this thing look so real I was actually apprehensive about taking it out to shoot. When I did, I used a gun case to transport it to avoid anyone getting into a panic at the site of this thing! The black version uses trademarks and printing in silver, flat black paint and black rubber combat grips minus the gold medallions. All those things cause the black version to "look" like an Airgun. I own the black version and I love it but this...this just knocks me off my feet. The nickle finish shines like a mirror right out of the box. The trades and printing are a very light almost gold/silver color somehow creating the look of real engraving. The grips look like wood, are beyond comfortable in my hand, it's heavy and the cartridges make it awesome fun to load and shoot! What more could you want?
