Aging of the metal is even throughout. The wood like grip is very authentic looking and the NRA coin very classy. Silver cartridges complement the gun. The inscription of our American right to bear arms very well done and readable. I will be proud to display this when not using it on the range.

I already have another Peacemaker with a nickel finish and a shorter barrel with the pearl grips and was debating about buying another one but the NRA Peacemaker has a long barrel for targets at 20 ft to 30 ft. This one was the last one available and I am so glad it was available! Who knows if I will see it again!

This pellet revolver has a nice feel in your hand very close to the original. The action is smooth, rigger pull is effortless, and has the distinctive clicks associated with a Single Action Army. I was very impressed by its accuracy. On a further note, everyone who tried it was also impressed by its realistic feel and overall performance.

This gun shoots pellets and is much more accurate than the bb revolver (I have one of those too). This airgun gets about 100 shots per CO2 cartridge. I really like the longer grip as it is more comfortable in my hand than the normal Colt Single Action Army (SAA) grip. The gun, overall, is nicely finished, solidly built, and feels similar, but somewhat lighter and smaller than a real SAA. I had no barrel wiggle in my gun. The cartridges are the size of a .357 magnum and have a circular cut that mimics a bullet at the end of the cartridge (the bb cartridges do not have this cut). All in all, this is a wonderful, real-executed revolver that is just plain fun to shoot,

I wish the revolver had interchangeable grips. While the left side panel could be easily changed out, the right side panel seems to be permanently attached. The grips on the gun are pretty nice but I'd like to be able to customize its look with different colored grips.

I have been using the Air Venturi pellet pencil to reload the cartridges in the cylinder. It works pretty well and takes less time than removing the cartridges and reloading them by hand. Of course, it still takes time to load the pellet pencil.

The weight of my trigger pull is 1 pound, 2 ounces.

If you want to buy a holster rig for it, get one with .357 magnum bullet loops.

When I ordered this I bought it because I love the peacemaker it's an AMERICAN classic but when I got it first thing I noticed upon inspection one of the screws holding it together is broken but I was like oh well a small blemish no one will notice so I go on about my business get it all together ready to fire fire good for the first week then today I go to take my son shooting so he can learn to fire it I pull the hammer back and pull the trigger and it's broken something isn't right I've had it not even two weeks and it's broken SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!! Not cool so I do some digging and come to find out the NRA indorsed edition has several customer complaints and had many of the model's returned for similar issues I'm not happy not happy at all

fit & finish

add instructions on how to remove the redundant warning label on the underside of the barrel without destroying the finish. It mars the whole look of the piece and is part and parcel to contributing to the dumbing down of our society.

Air guns keep getting better and better .

I think this gun was worth the price paid. But the weathering was over done. It looked as if someone used a steel wool pad and it does not look like normal weathering. The picture looks a lot better than the gun I received.

A little less weathering and the NRA logo was a little to bold. Mabe the NRA logo on the grip.

For me this is no a show piece but it seems to work ok and I still think it was worth what I paid.

This Colt PeaceMaker is Nothing short of excellent from the perfectly done weathered appearance, Just enough to give it that antique look to the mechanics. The trigger, Hammer,cylinder and ejector all work as they should as the authentic would. The only thing the hammer doesn't rest all the way down but that's OK as most pellet guns do. All in all this is a magnificent replica that I am happy to own!

Don't change anything

Hopefully I have covered most of this really nice Replica. You will be happy when you unbox this and see the nice box that this arrives in. Its much nicer than the plastic packing a lot of the guns are packed in.

Accuracy and handling is really nice for a revolver of its size and weight. Love the NRA/Colt markings and 2nd Amendment quote on the back strap.

I could tell the antiqued finish was accented with fine steel wool and was a bit sloppy throughout. I used gun blue to even out the finish and it looks much better (smoother and softer) and authentic in my opinion.

I've noticed that these 7.5 inch barrel Peacemakers have a bit of play (or movement) in them where they are anchored into the cylinder assembly, however this has not adversely affected the accuracy of the revolver. They shoot spot on from ten yards out. Overall an excellent piece of history for the money.

The fit and finish are sweet; I bought this model instead of the 5-1/2" barreled one as all the reviews said the longer barrel was more accurate; it IS accurate, and it shoots to point-of-aim. Plus, it's a piece of history...love it!

I don't need the safety, so I just leave it off.

I just received this gun from Pyamyd Air tonight; the fit and finish are beautiful! I shot it indoors on my 5-meter range; I got a 7/8" group with JSB RS 7.33 grain pellets; they averaged 390 fps (2.47 fpe). I am extremely well-pleased with this gun! I was hitting empty .38 cases; as I said, an accurate gun; so now I am plinking with a piece of history...way cool! =>

Absolutely nothing, I think it is just perfect as it is.

I have over 70 BB/pellet guns in my collection and there are some I missed out on because I hesitated. If you are an aficionado of these replica guns then don't hesitate and miss them.

Like the feel and balance also very accurate to 60 ft.

the seal retaining screw

have had this gun for 1 month the retaining screw for the co2 cartridge came out with the very first cartridge after fooling with it for an hour I got it back in. after 3 more co2 cartridges it came out again and now will not stay in. am very disappointed for the amount of money this gun cost. have not contacted pyramid air as this last episode just happened 1-2-2019
