    Things I liked:

I am very pleased with this pistol. It is very powerful and fun to shoot. I use it both for target practice and pest control (rats and squirrels). Very nice gun, well worth the price, and I highly recommend it.

    Things I would have changed:

The gun is heavy. I suppose it has to be, in order to be as powerful as it is. It's weight makes it harder to take a bead than my lighter pellet guns, but it is definitly not a dealkiller. Also, the 11mm dovetail mount is a bit short, but long enough to mount a scope. I just wish it were a bit longer.

    What others should know:

I mounted a BSA 2x20 Pistol Scope, Duplex Retical, and a CenterPoint Universal Laser/Flashlight. They are awsome additions, though the adjustable fiber optic sights which come with the gun are pretty good on their own.

    Things I liked:

For a .117 pellet pistol, this is a very powerful gun which accomplishes what I want. Aside from target practice, I use it for pest control - squirrels and rats. This gun could easily be used for hunting rabbits or other small game. For the money, this pistol can't be beat. Lots of fun to shoot!

    Things I would have changed:

The gun is heavy - I suppose it could not be lighter and remain as powerful. The 11mm dovetail scope rail is a bit short, but it suffices. It would be nice if a gun stock was available for attaching to the grip.

    What others should know:

I mounted a BSA 2x20 pistol scope, and a CenterPoint universal laser/flashlight on top of the scope. Once the scope and laser were sighted, the squirrels were toast ;-)

    Things I liked:

One very powerful pistol. It is easy to cock, is very accurate once you dial it in and offers a great deal of fun for target practice. It is a bit on the heavy side but the power alone outweighs that. really well made product

    Things I would have changed:

slightly better fit for the cocking assistant. mine has a tendency to slip unless you press it down each time and can catch skin if not careful.

    What others should know:

I am 55 and just now discovered airguns.I had a Benjamim .177 as a teenager but never shot a spring gun.I bought a 460 mag RWS a couple of months ago and got the fever.I am pipelining in southwest Texas.Diamondback country.Somedays 5 or six killed.I bought a .22 co2 but watched a Pyramyd video that showed a co2 blowing the windows out of a car from the heat so I left it home.tried the Ruger .177 but not enough damage. The Browning .22 with Skenco 18.2 Ultramag metal tip hits harder than any other pellet I have tried.Do not know about long range, not what I bought this pistol for.I put a 4" BKL rail on it with a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot.Takes there heads off every shot. The 800 dovetail is a little less than 4" so you have to grind off about a 1/4" of the clamping lip, just the edge that actually fits into the groove on each end.Only takes about 2 minutes and you will never see it.the scope will never move no matter what.hope this novice advice will help some of the pros out there having headaches with there scoped 800.

    Things I liked:

A beast out of the box. Like the discontinued Webley Typhoon the Browning 800 Express is made in Turkey and has the quality. This is no your average pistol and seems awkward at first but you'll get use to it. The gun can be cranked without the cocking aid.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, why? I test Airguns out at a professional range held in place. I read the reviews and know what I'm buying.

    What others should know:

If you buy this, it is because it is the most powerful pistol out there. The design like the discontinued Webley Typhoon is different than you might expect but it does live up to it's specifications. If Webley chose Turkey to build their airguns, they know what they are doing.

    Things I liked:

After putting a 1000 Crosman Hunters, the first 500 showing a typical break-in result, my Brownie really tightened up on the second 500. She threw consistent 2" groups ,offhand, from 10 meters with just the factory open sights, sub .75" from a bench with same sights. Cocking is stiff, but tolerable, my trigger is actually quite sweet, and the cocking safety set is sort of clever. Can hardly wait for my Walther Multicle Recticle Sight to arrive from backorder and complete the package.

    Things I would have changed:

Wish they had included some little rubber stoppers for the sight mounting holes. When you just put the screws back in it impedes the cocking mechinism.

    What others should know:

If you have the bucks, this is one epic hand canon of an air gun. More fun than the law should allow.

    Things I liked:

I like just having to pump it one time. Accurate at the ranges I'm shooting it.. BTW the staff at PA is terrific. Pleasure working with them. They ship fast once the order is placed and provide you with feedback via email throughout the entire process.

    Things I would have changed:

1 - More power. I bought this so that I could enjoy some small game hunting and plinking when out with my kids who are just getting introduced to fire arms (I purchased my kids both red rider's as learning guns) I'm use to shooting real fire arms, so I wanted the most powerful hand gun, air guns that I could get, which is why I purchased the 800 express. I guess it's powerful for air guns, but it's nothing close to what I'm use to. My .22 rim fire is so much more powerful, even when using shorts that I feel that I really can't use this for hunting small game as I feel it will leave a lot of my game wounded vs. delivering a clean kill. I would caution others to really consider what you plan to use the gun for. Plinking - you've got a fun nice little gun and something you can enjoy when out with your kids. Hunting small game - I wouldn't recommend it (IMO)

    What others should know:

I would like to have the rear sights a little larger. I find that things seam blurry when I'm lining the rear and front sights together and my eyes go back and forth between the two. Maybe it's due to the size of the handgun. It is larger than any hand gun I own. Also, this is a very heavy hand gun. It's hard to keep it steady shooting off hand. Much better to rest this beast on something to improve accuracy.

    Things I liked:

This is a pistol for a true MAN. It weighs in at a little less than a Desert Eagle center fire. It is breath taking right out of the box. The power is the air world comarison to the center fire worlds Desert Eagle "More Gun Than You Can Handle." You can tame her but it won't take a weekend or a month, she will take some gettin used to.

    Things I would have changed:

The pistol grip size is off. I feel all that power needs something better to hold on to. You can do it but thats a Whole Lot a Gun!

    What others should know:

The front end of the barrel will come off. Just recognize this in the begining and fix first. I know! fix a gun right out of the box! What am I talking about? The overall gun is one you will never experience anywhere else. It is the hand cannon of guns. Trust me on this it is well worth the fix to keep his Baby! The Tumping Power in this pistol is off the chart! Targeting it in will take some time. It will get there, just be patient and learn the spring pitch and how she likes to be held. You can tame her but it won't take a weekend or a month, she will take some gettin used to. But in .22 with some Crow Magnums Look Out Varmits I'm comming thru!!!

    Things I liked:

Day one: Out of the box Wow fact Great. It is very impressive looking. Its a Beast!! The one cock fire is great (my first). The power is amazing, but do not push pellets into the barrel (big loss of power).

    Things I would have changed:

This system really belongs on a rifle stock. It is really heavy, really long, and really unbalanced. The hand stock is too small to accomidate that much weight that is very front heavy.

    What others should know:

Day one: Out of the box the sights are adjusted off. Do not push the pellets into the barrel; big drop off in power. You can hit a bulls eye with it but you had better be a great shot. She will shoot far right due to the fact you are trying the strugle with that much weight and hold a rifle barrel straight to take the shot. Not for anyone with poor marksmanship skills. She is a breast but I think I can tame her (or at least build up some serious wrist muscles trying). She is accurate out of the box if you center her rear sights, elevation is right on.

    Things I liked:

very good power-penetrates wood more deeply than my P1 with same pellets. Accuracy quite good with the right pellet

    Things I would have changed:

2nd stage trigger pull a bit mushy & creepy-but still better than many

    What others should know:

A big, long heavy hog-but not a problem for someone who shoots long barreled magnum revolvers-makes it all the better as a trainer.Muzzle heaviness aids accuracy. Tried to cock it without aid-can be done but not worth it-use the aid! I bought the .177 version-had hoped it would shoot well with medium weight roundnoses-it does OK but best accuracy by far is with crow magnums. Shooting offhand with a 2 hand hold can shoot quarter size groups at 50 feet all day. Bought in .177 because I already have a couple of powerful .22 air pistols but if this were to be your only air pistol I think .22 would be a better choice to take full advantage of the power potential. all in all very satisfied with this pistol-its a steal at just 150 bucks.

    Things I liked:

I have owned this gun for a month and struggled to get it to shoot consistently. It is extremely heavy for a pellet pistol and cumbersome. I ordered the pistol/red-dot combo. As others have stated, regardless of how tight the red-dot is mounted, it creeps backwards on the rail and loosens. Using the pellets recommended in the combo deal, I am unable to get a consistent grouping at 40 feet. I have much better results with my $39 Crossman pump. I'm done with this one.

    Things I would have changed:

    To a different pistol.

Whatever was wrong with the first batch, I think they fixed the problems and then some. I think I got lucky too cause I went with the .22 cal and its a performer. It loves Silver Bears and makes nearly twice the muzzle energy of my LP8 when shooting them.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing yet

    What others should know:

My gun absolutely loves Silver Bears, if you get the .22 you got to give them a shot.

Mine is well put together. It did not need much cleaning. Seems to be pretty accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

Cocking is a bear even with the cocking aid. I think the cocking aid may be moving the front sight

    What others should know:

I got way more power than I needed in a pistol. What I really wanted was a fun plinker not this. I should have read the specs closer.

    Things I liked:

I am really happy with this break barrel. I am not an expert shooter. I haven't found any problem with accuracy concerning the recoil system, the upper or slide moves back once fired and it is really accurate. I have only fired it up to 15 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like the trigger to pull to be a little smoother, although it is not a big deal to me. This is something I will fix once I find a YouTube video showing me how to mod it myself.

    What others should know:

Accurate, affordable, and overall I am happy with it. I used to have a squirrel problem, now I don't. The safety automatically moves to safe from the fire position once you break the barrel, which for me is no problem. The length of the gun is bigger than I had expected. I didn't pay attention to the specs, I just thought it would be smaller. Don't get me wrong, this is good, the barrel length helps with accuracy for longer distances. Very Happy with this for the price.

    Things I liked:

This pistol has a very decent trigger , good power for an air pistol , and very accurate for the price .

    Things I would have changed:

The pistol needs to have a way of securely mount the front sight extension , (cocking extension ) as it constantly shoots loose . Also the pistol needs a very strong scope stop installed if a shooter mounts any type of red dot or scope on this pistol .

    What others should know:

This is my 3rd review of this pistol . I had a custom scope stop made from a weaver base for a Remington 700 centerfire rifle by a machine shop ( NOT CHEAP ). This cured the scope walking problem.I used some cheapo red dot sights from SightMark and NC Star and they quit working after 500 to 700 shots . I am using a Burris Fast Fire red dot now .Even though the action recoils back into the grip and frame , there must be a whole lot of reverse recoil as this pistol beats the HELL out of mounts and optical sights . I get 10 shot dime sized groups with Meisterkuglen 14.0 gr. Target Wadcutters ( 22. cal. ) at 30 feet . The pointed RWS open groups quite a bit . I have not shot the pistol over my chrono , but you can kill squirrels and rats easily with head shots , body shots are not instant kills as this is sort of anemic compared to my RWS Model 48 in .22 cal. The target wadcutters are NOT designed as " hunting " pellets so if your pistol will shoot the pointed or domed pellets accurately give them a try . If you have one of these that you are ready to throw in your " poor buy junk box " do not give up if you are willing to time and money into it . If you have some extra money and time you can get this pistol to shoot , otherwise you have a tin can plinker that gets thrown in the corner to collect dust and spider webs . Hermando

    Things I liked:

Very accurate air pistol for the money, has a decent trigger. Also very powerful and useful for pest control .

    Things I would have changed:

This pistol is impossible to mount any optical sights without spending a whole lot of money or time . Need to have a decent scope stop as an option . The cocking handle tends to twist the front sight assembly loose constantly ,even when screws are loc-tited down.

    What others should know:

This is my 3rd review on this pistol . When I first purchased it I loved it . Because of my age I mounted an assortment of optical sights and could not get any to hold zero . I tried 3 different scope bases that pyramid air recommended to no avail . I had a scope stop built for me by a machine shop using a one peice scope base for a Rem. 700 rifle from my spare parts box. This was not cheap, but seems to have cured the problem.I now see that pyramid air no longer sells this pistol since the recall ? Sad to say this pistol has some really good features , but if pyramid air no longer sells it , I would buy something else. For what I spent on scope bases and having the custom scope stop built , the costs have exceed what I paid for the pistol and I have to ship it back for the safety recall now. I contacted a shop who does custom repairs and modifications ( he has worked on seveveral of my airguns ), and he refused to work on this air pistol. If pyramid air has dropped this pistol from their product line I would think very carefully about buying one .Herman

    Things I liked:

I purchased this pistol about 3 months ago and gave it a 5 star review. The more I shoot it ( 2,000 plus pellets ) the lower the review goes down .It is powerful and accurate , but has problems.

    Things I would have changed:

The suppressor that the front sight is mounted on contantly shoots loose ( even when locktite is used on the set screws ) There needs to be better way to secure this unit . Also mounting any optics ( scope or red dot sight is imposible ). This gun is accurate and to really get it to shoot ragged holes you need an optical sight .The pistol needs a scope stop or you cannot maintain a constant zero. You cannot mount an optical sight on the dove tail with any mount I have tried. I have gone through 3 mounts suggested by Pramyd Air Tech support and all have NOT done the job.

    What others should know:

I just received an E-mail from the manufacturer to return the pistol as it is unsafe and could fire when you do not intend it to fire ? They do cover the cost of shipping it back to them . Also I am having a custom scope stop built to try to keep the optics from sliding on the dove tail groove. It involves having a Weaver rail drilled and tapped to accept the factory screws for the rear sight and having pins installed in the other two holes that are existing in the receiver. This IS NOT a CHEAP modification , but it may cure the scope and mounts walking problem. I shoot over 100 to 200 pellets per shooting session and this pistol beats the tar out of the mounts and Will Not hold a zero after 15 to 20 shots. I have spent $80 plus on three different mounts and NONE have worked to cure the scope walking problem . If anyone out there has solved the problem please send a review.

Aesthetically is horrible I just bought it because is powerful but its a lie.

    Things I would have changed:

That at least reach the 500 FPS, my Co2 gun has more power.

    What others should know:

I bought this in cal. 4.5 or .177 and tested as soon as I received it. I made 10 shots first to break-in then I tested with a chrony and use 3 diferent pellets less than 8 grains and the max speed I get was 450 FPS with 7 grains, and 380FPS with 7.8 grains. I am very disappointed with this gun, be careful.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see a better scope mounting system, or a mount stop pin hole. Something to prevent movement. I'm new to spring guns, and am now working on my second scope mount.

    What others should know:

The recoil, although doesn't feel bad, moves the scope mount. It also disassembled a BSA 2X20 scope. Once I get the mount pinned down, I'll be looking for a better scope.
