    Things I liked:

This is a good looking rifle, love the thumb hole and the way it comes up to the shoulder , on target every time. The sling is awesome.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

This is a heavy unit and takes a bit of effort to cock

    Things I liked:

The Power, good scope included, nice hardwood, fair price for what i got. Nice accuracy

    Things I would have changed:

its heavy, not so quiet like i expected. The triger could be a much better for this type of gun, automatic safety it would be nice also

    What others should know:

I have a Mendoza .22 air spring rifle, and has almost the same power but for 100dls less, i watched all the reviews videos and did lot of research in what to buy, i expected a litle more about what i got, its not a bad rifle. Also have a Gamo .25 that really has shocking power, not so fast but powerful.

    Things I liked:

This gun shoot very accuracy and powerful. This is one of the most accuracy airgun that I have try out so far, out of 4 different bake barrel airgun. The weight is heavy so, it just take some time to get use to. once see the game on sight the weight doesn't effect much anymore.

    Things I would have changed:

Scope need to be change, because it has no lock. I would also like to change on is the weight and trigger. We shouldn't have to carry this much weight for small game and the trigger is way hard for a heavy gun.

    What others should know:

If you have heavy finger, you should not get the Charlie De Tuna GRT 111 trigger, because this trigger is very light and can be dangerous. I would just use other trigger from other none use gun. I got my off my Crosman Phantom 1000X, It works great.

    Things I liked:

Absolutely powerful air rifle!!! 100 pct satisfied!!! Tack driver and enough power to take out whatever I aim at.

    Things I would have changed:

Changed out the trigger and groups tightened up about 1". Other than that, am totally satisfied with this magnum air rifle!

    What others should know:

Order charliedatuna.com grt-iii trigger and install in your benji. after that, its all gravy!

    Things I liked:

Accurate gun with good range. Comfortable to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice if they put in a better trigger. The stock trigger makes it more difficult to shoot the gun accurately.

    What others should know:

The size and weight of the gun. It can be a little too big for some people, especially since it is only a pellet gun. I use the JSB exact pellets and they work great.

    Things I liked:

The stock feels good and helps make your shot stable. The nitro cylinder is smooth to cock and quiet to shoot. Promotes confidence in the shooter. The scope is good.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is straight from HELL! If I wanted the worst trigger ever put on a air rifle I would buy THIS gun. If you get good at shooting this gun, you can confidently shoot a shoulder mounted black powder cannon.

    What others should know:

Pellets. Buy only the best. Cheep pellets offer poor results.

    Things I liked:

the stock is well made, and the overall design is very nice. the barrel scratched easily but its not to bad. the scope that comes with it is a good scope. the adjustment knobs came loose a few times and chucked my zero out the window. this gun NEEDS a light hold otherwise u cant expect accuracy at all. other then that its a great gun.squirrels and raccoons know my name.

    Things I would have changed:

the trigger. its not as bad as u think but its alittle sticky in the second stage. might replace sooner or later

    What others should know:

the strap that comes with this gun is well needed, its a heavy air rifle. i am 14 but very athletic, so weight of the gun and cocking effort might be alittle diffucult for some. other then that, great gun by far purchase it if u can. well worth the money.

    Things I liked:

Solid built - power - quiet - very easy cocking - nice scope

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger - then again that was easy enough to do - being a gun smith helps - not sure why benjamin hasnt figure this out yet.

    What others should know:

Only pellets that could get to shoot to date was Preditor tipped pellets. Have tryed Beemans from 7.8 to 10.2gr - tryed gamos many different and crossman nothing has worked better then 4-5 in at 30yds. Preditors will do well under an inch all day - some groups of 5 shots can cover with a dime im sure if it wasnt for the wind all groups with these would be under 1/2 in. Speed with the PBA's is short of the avertised 1500fps - 1340 is best fps over crony i can get- preditors state 8gr pellets but on my scale they come in at 8.3gr and the gun shoots these at 1080fps spread is very good at only 9 fps wich helps with the being accurate.

    Things I liked:

The power is outstanding and this gun is quiet and extremely accurate if you have the skills to shoot it, if not its a nice challenge to learn!

    Things I would have changed:

    Trigger!!!!!!!

    What others should know:

This gun does have a heavy recoil that happens very fast so the arterally hold is a must! This ones seems to be a bit different than other springer/gasram's I have shot in the since that when using the arterally hold mine seems to like a mid to light grip on the forestock with the butt of the gun touching the shoulder more firmly than most others, but thats just my take on how to shoot this one. practice makes perfect exspecially with this one. by the way im getting consistant 3/4 groups at 30 yrds with crosman premier hollowpoints 14.3 and I can see this improving as I have only had the gun for about a week with around 400 shots through it, plus im ordering some jsb jumbo heavies. I allmost forgot to mention when I got my gun the two screws at the front that hold the stock on were loose! took me about two hundred shots before I figured it out so check them when you first get this gun. If you want, use some loctite. So far I really like the scope 3-9 40 this gun came with. Ok now the trigger on the other hand is not too good but managable im not having any creeps and stops in it like the guy on the video was talking about but even with the trigger adjusted for the lightest pull its way to hard to pull I was joking around with my dad the other day and told him it adjusted from 150lb to 100lb that being an exagerration of course.

    Things I liked:

Rock solid beast. Packs a serious wallop in .25 cal. Super positive break barrel re-locking mechanism. ( NO BARREL DROOP ON THIS ONE) Looks like a sniper rifle. 1 inch groups at 25 yds. right out of the box after after 50 pellet scope sighting. Do at least one tin before you want to snipe. Center point scope a good match for this gun, clear enough and well matched to this gun. Sling mounts a nice addition. Free strap a nice bonus although a bit cheap looking . A plus as it is to heavy for a long haul in the woods.

    Things I would have changed:

Stock finish totally acceptable for the price but is not actually truly finished like a real wood stock. The laser cut hand holds are nice, plus the Benjamin logo on the bottom. It has a fake sponge stained grain look over a filled and sanded wood base. NOT LIKE THE PICKS. The stock trigger is heavy pull , long and unpredictable. It is adequate for break in but if you want a crispy and clean pull, you must get (Charlie De Tuna GRT 111 trigger, only 32 bucks by mail) Makes a world of difference.

    What others should know:

For the price you will get more than you paid for hands down. NOTE I put a leapers accushot 8-32-56 ( Total Excess and almost as expensive as the gun at $ 250) scope on it with medium height mounts and it fits snugly, but due to the break barrel and the long scope tube, the sun shade will not fit. I have high mounts as an option, and might re-fit to see if it works out. I like my scopes a tight fit we'll see. The PMA rep said i had to to get the high mount so i got both, but he said nothing about the sun shade. No biggie. Get the ten for ten to help weed out the the occasional dog.

    Things I liked:

THE POWER! Pretty quiet for a large break barrel. Quite accurate for this set up. I think it looks great too. This rifle packs a wallop and I honestly think, next to my M Rod 25, this is my most powerful air rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Yup, the trigger ... Worst trigger I have EVER used. My Daisy Red Rider has a better trigger hands down. No kidding! Lol.

    What others should know:

Besides needing to a Red Rider trigger swap lol, this rifle is awesome. After close to finishing the 500rd tin of Premiers that come with the rifle, I am pleased to say that the accuracy is very good for such a powerful break barrel. Either the trigger is starting to smooth out, or I'm getting used to it ( it still stinks though ). Use ARTILLERY HOLD! It is a must to ring any accuracy out of the XL.

    Things I liked:

The rifle looks nice, well balanced for its weight, a lot of power, and that are all positive things about this rifle with my personal experience.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope is not the best choise for this rifle, trigger is not appropriate for a this kind of scope rifle, it is pretty heavy weight rifle, strong kick for this kind of air gun, build quality is not good as it appears on first look.

    What others should know:

I was completely disappointed with this rifle from the following reasons. First of all it was not accurate rifle. On 10 yards target with bench rest I could not get better than approximately 3 inches group with 10 pellets. Two or three pellet hit target accurate than one pellet went around 1 or 2 inches up-left, than one pellet went 1-2 inches down-right. Second, it is very loud rifle, not quiet as advertised. Makes much more noise than Crosman 2240 air gun. I was in hope that after "break down period" the rifle will become more accurate and quiet, but after over 600 pellets it was not happend. Just wasted my time and pellets. Returned to Pyramyd Air. Thanks Pyramyd Air for quick and friendly customer service. If you are looking for accurate and quiet air rifle this one is not right choise, based on my personal experience. Yesterday my wife purchased for me Crosman Nitro Venom Dusk from Pyramyd Air, hope she made better choise than me for quiet and accurate rifle.

    Things I liked:

First pellet rifle since I was a kid, I was looking for something to take out small varmints at 50yds and this will do it. This has a look and feel of quality, the scope is pretty good for the price of the package and was within 3 clicks on initial setup. At 50 yards I can hold 2" groups, and take down power is as described

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger is a little long but you will get use to it. Needs to have a tripod mount as an add on as this is a heavy rifle.

    What others should know:

This was my first break barrel rifle, it is easy for an adult to cock but even then it can grow tiresome after a while when you shoot 50 or so pellets in a sitting.

    Things I liked:

Benjamin Trail NP XL in .22 cal, its a very accurate and powerful gun, the first shots are a blast ! too loud shooting it out of the box, loud like shooting a .22 firearm, but 10 shots later it started to quiet down and gets a little bit quieter than a normal spring powered gun, its a very fun gun to shoot, this is my 4th gun and i think is the best 1 i ever had, been shooting it at 40-50 yds very consistently works great with crossman premier pellets, trigger not too horrible for me like i was expecting. Scope mounts and the scope itself are very nice package.

    Things I would have changed:

I dont like the stock too much in terms of endurance, i think its a bit fragile because of the thumb hole. The gun is heavy, large and hard to break to cock it, its not for a small person ;)

    What others should know:

Good hunting gun it works for me i am a large person, its my favorite and best air gun i have tried, been trying a lot of different guns and this gun suits me ok.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is everything an air rifle should be, and nothing it shouldn't be. The power is just awesome(and not awesome in the "cool" way, but awesome in the god like way.)! The cocking is so smooth, you can't really tell it is over 40 lbs.! I haven't been able to get a better group then 5in. at 50yrds. in my 725(I will tell you why below). I only have 575 rounds through it though. I do need more practice. This rifle takes allot of work, and patience to shoot accurately. Not something anyone can just pick up, and shoot. It is huge, and is a bear to cock. I am willing to put the time in though, it is worth it for the power, and available accuracy!

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger! The trigger is horrible, really is messing with my groups. I haven't changed it though. I am going to try and break it in, I might get used to it. The screws in the fore stock, and the one in the back of the trigger guard come loose every 20 shots or so. Which again, changes POI!! I have tried lock-tight, but I think the recoil might be too much for it, it only lasts maybe 150 shots, and then back to every 20 or so. I am going to let it set for a week, and see if the lock-tight sets up better.(I hope it does) The scope. It was nice to be able to shoot right away, but start saving for a decent scope. The clicks don't seem to move anything, until you fire off a few rounds, then it will jump over. At shot 487, the scope went fuzzy. I can adjust it out to 25yrds, but now anything beyond that is fuzzy? So I ordered the Leapers 3-12x44 SWAT, and the big side wheel. Not here yet, but I hear it is awesome.

    What others should know:

Price for what you get is awesome(in the cool way.)! Just be sure your ready to put the time, and effort in to find the right pellet, and the right hold. Hope this helps, happy shootings, Nate.

    Things I liked:

I liked the quiet power of a nitrogen piston gun. I liked the fact that the power level wouldn't change with the weather. Nice wood for the price.

    Things I would have changed:

Too bad this gun is made in China. This is my second Benjamin air rifle in less than a month. My first was the NP trail. Couldn't hit the side of my barn with it. 6" group, after bread-in, at 30 feet!. Sent it back. Bought a Benjamine Trail NP XL. Never got to use it. Poor construction as the scope rail was not aligned with the barrel. You could see it when looking down the rifle with or without the scope mounted. It was impossible to sight in the gun. What a waste. Good engineering, poor execution by shoddy worksmanship. Maybe I got two lemons in a row. That's one too many in a row. No more Benjamins for me.

    What others should know:

Don't buy this gun. The trigger is bad, the worksmanship is bad, the price is good. What does that leave you? I'm going to buy a Diana RWS spring gun. They have a lifetime warrantee and are a little cheaper than the Benjamine NP guns. Benjamin, Crosman, whatever they call themselves today, just doesn't make guns like they used to.

    Things I would have changed:

Change design and engineering to make it more useable.

    What others should know:

II am of average build, 6', 200lb., and wear a size XL glove. I have been told that I am very average in size and proportion, but when putting this rifle into firing position with my hand on the grip as with all the other rifles I have ever used, the tip of my trigger finger can barely reach the trigger. Also, I never got this rifle open. I could not get the barrel to break open according to instructions. Laying it across my lap and slamming my hand down on the barrel to open it only resulted in a bruised hand and leg. I returned the rifle and PyramydAir gave me a full refund.

Is a very good Air Rifle kit for the price.

    Things I would have changed:

The wood stock is fragile . The Air Rifle cal .22 I recived, had some damage at the wood stock and also came with the cocking machanism damaged. I returned it to Pyramyd Air for exchange.

    What others should know:

Problably the Air Rifle I receive was a real bad one from many good ones, as the historic reviews of the same product in this site.

    Things I liked:

Quick shipping, Scope, Quick and good quick return process.

    Things I would have changed:

Quality of the Stock leaves 'much' to be desired. If this is a hardwood it's some form of hard balsa wood... Exaggeration intended btw. But still not a good quality. Stock finish is almost non existent. Trigger is absolutely terrible.

    What others should know:

I had paid for the 10 for 10, which was done, unfortunately the gun arrived with a cracked stock, starting from the rear corner of the barrel inlay and traveling down to the thumbhole on the right side. No one doing the 10 for 10 apparently noticed it. Full price was refunded 'except for the 10 for $10'. Hmmmm I'm glad to get most of the refund but I wonder how the 10 for 10 inspector missed it? Rifle in general is a bit hard to cock, I'm 57, 230lbs retired but plenty strong enough to cock it, still after about 30 times it gets a bit old. If you are used to a carbine type rifle don't get this, 4' long and heavy, It's not a quick point aim and shoot. Trigger is awful, stock is a barely finished piece of some kind of light wood ( I wasn't impressed). I've got a 30 yr old $40 .22 rimfire with a stock that puts this to shame. Not to mention a 50yr old Sheridan with real wood for a stock as well. Scope was nice imo, but I only had it for a day or two prior to returning. Hard hitting, blew right thru 3/4" plywood at 50 ft. With crosman premiers that it came with. I'll stick with my 50 yr old Sheridan.
