    Things I liked:

Well built, the wood stock has a great feel, quiet and has good power. It's fairly accurate, I purchased the .22 and have put down many rabbits and ground squirrels at distances of up to 50 yards.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger could use work but then again it's a $150.00 Gun.

    What others should know:

It is a Nitro Piston Springer, great entry level gun for someone looking to rid the yard of pests, plinking or hunting small game. Great accuracy up to about 50 yards. I did put a better scope in it and that helped with accuracy. Takes some practice with the artillery hold to be consistent.

    Things I liked:

Power, accuracy. I put a much better 3 - 9 X 40 scope on it and after a brief break in was shooting consistently under 3/8" groups at 25yds all day. It is also a lot quieter than I expected: another plus.

    Things I would have changed:

I can't really say anything about the scope that came with the rifle as I never even mounted it. The trigger is a bit of a chore, but I could care less really; I've had much worse on high powered centerfire rifles. After a few shots it was easy to deal with and get the trigger to trip when I wanted and get the accuracy I expected. For the price I doubt you can do better.

    What others should know:

Buy a variety of pellets and find the one that shoots best for your purpose! Owning a hand-me-down 1950's Benjamin pump, I felt ok with laying out the $ to try this one and I am so happy I did....and did not listen to some talking heads trying to steer me to a few others. I bought this for all around use including vermin dispatch, which it has more than ample power for. However, it is also a fantastic target shooter....easily hanging with or besting my monied buddies' $500.00+ RWS Diana, which did not sit well with him...lol

    Things I liked:

I bought the .22 cal. model. I love the looks of this gun. The thumb-hole grip makes the gun easy to shoot. The Nitro Piston is, in my opinion, a big plus over the springers. The gun is quiet enough to shoot in the backyard but very powerful and accurate once broken in. I have read many complaints about the scope, but I guess I got a good one. Once I got is sighted in, it worked well. Another common complaint is the trigger. Mine is not too bad. I have adjusted it and it feels pretty good. It's not like a regular firearm trigger with a distinct 1st and 2nd stage though. The Crosman Hollow Points work very well with this gun and they are inexpensive. Beeman Crowmagnums provide a real thump and accuracy. Most of my shooting is done at 10 yards, but I have tested it at around 30-40 yards and it does well at that range as well. I bought a Crosman Raven for my son and wanted to get something I could use with him for teaching gun safety and ethical hunting practices. So far, it has been a success. Thank you Pyramyd Air and Benjamin/Crosman.

    Things I would have changed:

At this price point, you really can't ask for more. Yes, a high end scope and smoother trigger would be on the wish list, but then you'd be paying more money. Benjamin and other manufacturers make higher end guns; buy one if you need those features. The only things I am thinking about changing are the finish and the trigger. I'm not a fan of the light color and will probably strip it and refinish with a darker color and Tru-Oil. There is an aftermarket trigger available that I may order. I'm giving this one more time to break in though.

    What others should know:

The folks at Pyramyd Air, from my experience, are very prompt with shipping and great at communicating with the customer. I watched a lot of videos before my purchase and chose Pyramyd Air because of their knowledge base and customer friendly website. WARNING: Airguns can be very addictive. I bought the Titan as a training tool for my son, but now I'm really into air gunning. In my opinion, it has also helped with regular firearms training since I am new able to shoot every night instead of just once a week at the range. This sport has been great for our father son time. We get to have fun together while learning something. Target time has become so popular at our house that my daughter wants one now... In pink, of course.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate! The nitro piston is easier to shoot and much more quiet than my spring piston.

    Things I would have changed:

Better optic package would be a nice option.

    What others should know:

Would have given all five stars but the trigger is very heavy (can be fixed) and I just checked it over a chronograph. Very disappointed to only see 650 to 700 fps with standard weight (13 to 16gr) pellets.

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Things I liked:

I have two .177s...the 1000 plus fps and 670 or thereabouts fps. They are both durable, fairly well put together, and look good. They both shoot hard. The wooden stocks and general finish are pretty good. They are light enough for an old man like me to shoot several hundred rounds in an evenings plinking. Shot cycle seems precise. The low power cocks with little effort. The high power is getting easier and now I can cock it with one arm with no problem.

    Things I would have changed:

Both have sent several scopes and scope mounts to early graves. They kick like mules. The high power has sheered off the aluminum edges of several Weaver adapters I have tried on it and bent several "stop" screws to the point that the adapters or scope mounts "slid" off, carrying their respective optics with them. I have a Benj. Trail .22 which is a very sweet air rifle. Although it has a Nitro Piston, it has never sheared off a mount or adapter. It has a Weaver rail welded to the tube. The dove tails on the Titan's are inadequate. Since the rifle has no sights and one has to get optics in order to shoot with any accuracy, it is a crime to have a scope rail that provides inherently, too weak a platform to support mounting the necessary optics and then stand up to the gun's sharp recoil.

    What others should know:

The trigger is typical Chinese Crossman...gritty, heavy, long travel and hard to guess release point. I keep telling myself to boycott Crossman rifles until they change this lousy trigger. The high power Titan loosens screws every outing. Nasty recoil(s) that aren't, perhaps, as noticeable as with standard spring guns, because the shot cycle is very brief with no twangs or longer lasting vibrations. But I have not seen a more destructive recoil on any pellet rifle I have ever shot. Having said that, for the price, its an interesting gun to have and shoot.

    Things I liked:

Good feeling rifle. Parts on my copy are fit nicely with no unwanted slack in the pivot of barrel, it locks up tightly. Quieter than I expected. I live in a neighborhood and can shoot it without "alerting" my neighbors with a loud report. Happy overall with purchase.

    Things I would have changed:

Material that stock is composed of.

    What others should know:

The picture does not truely represent the appearance of the stock. The picture is a much more handsome piece of wood showing some grain and figure. My copy has no grain appearing in the wood and is a sort of solid dark orangish color. I cannot honestly say it looks nearly as nice as the picture on the web. This of course has no affect on the operation, which I am happy with.

    Things I liked:

This gun is deadly at 25 yards and has great power. Capable of taking rabbits, squirrel, even groundhogs.

    Things I would have changed:

Scope, but all scopes that come with inexpensive air guns are crappy.

    What others should know:

Buy a couple types of pellets to try in the rifle, I think each Benjamin is a little different, so a pellet that works good in one Titan, might not work good in another.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Things I liked:

I like the price of this Nitro Piston rifle, as its quality is comparable to other Nitrogen enhanced break-barrels that cost two to three times as much. A plus for me was the short 13" pull on a very nice hard-wood thumbhole stock. Another plus was the gun's relative quietness.

    Things I would have changed:

Get rid of the cheap scope, and either let us get our own or supply a better quality 4 x 32 such as a Barska or Winchester, which for the price have way more quality. Get rid of the long-pull,creepy trigger which does not have enough adjustment to get properly short. Both butt pad screws were stripped out and I had to use tooth picks and glue to properly secure the butt-pad. It was just not worth sending back for such a simple problem, but I would have to say that such screws should only be installed by hand or with a good quality clutched driver so that such things as stripped out holes in wooden stocks do not ever happen! As with all new in the box pellet guns I checked all of the other screws and found them to be loose but thankfully not stripped! After tightening them the gun was functional.

    What others should know:

With some minor modifications which I will not disclose, I was able to improve the gun's accuracy so that it outshoots a GAMO that cost considerably more. The gun did not deliver the advertised speed of 800fps with lead pellets or 950 with alloy pellets, but I found it to shoot GAMO lead Diablo wad-cutters the best. I really don't care a wit about pellet speed....only about accuracy. Pellet speed and accuracy are just not the same thing! Out of the box and after one hundred shot break-in, it delivered a miserable 22 square inch group at 30 meters with an average pellet speed of 720 fps. After I modified it, it delivered a 3 square inch group at the same range, and was even quitter than before. The modified gun shot the GAMO Diablo pellet at an average speed of 610 fps. The key to accuracy is to quit obsessing about the pellet speed, and look at the other factors that effect "lock-time". That is all the hint you will get from me on this! Good luck.

    Things I liked:

This rifle packs a good punch! Has a break in period where the shots are all over the place, put after about 50 shots it starts to settle in

    Things I would have changed:

The scope is ok, just not enough magnification for me. I will be replacing it. The trigger isn't that bad like a lot of people have said, I adjusted it a little to shorten the second stage and it was fine.

    What others should know:

Had to dial the scope in, it was shooting about 4 inches to the left when I first fired it. After 25 to 30 shots I had it pretty dialed in. Great gun! Definitely worth the money!

    Things I liked:

This thing is accurate, reliable and fairly consistent. Purchased primarily for pest control, in this role it has performed exemplary. The scope, while effective leaves a bit to be desired, however; it is certainly doable. Biggest retraction that I can offer on this rifle is the trigger. I think that they could do a much better job on it. That being said, it is certainly functional.

    Things I would have changed:

    Better Scope. Better Trigger

    What others should know:

It will take about 350-500 rounds to break in this barrel, once it is though, it's a tack driver. Be prepared for really loose groups at first though, however; I encourage you to persevere. Once broken in, this shoots with precision accuracy.

    Things I liked:

this gun is DEAD accurate with the scope installed, but when you install a leapers 3-9x40 AO scope like i did, it makes the gun so much better. iv killed 4 squirrels and 3 huge rabbits all with head shots (except for one rabbit i hit center mass)

    Things I would have changed:

the weight is a little too much even though im 14, 5'10, and 230 pounds. this gun feels heavier than my benelli supernova 12 gauge shotgun!! i wish there was a way to attach a sling like on the trail. even the slip on slings dont feel good with this gun. also, the trigger isnt too bad for me, i can get decent groups with it though, but it needs a charlie da tuna grt3 in it. also, it needs a little more power for me. rabbits often squirm away a little after i shoot them, and squirrels spaz out as well. it usually takes a second shot point blank with crosman premier hallow points. to the head. but it gets the job done well. lastly, i would like to be able to attach a bipod on the front grip. one more thing, dont let it get wet AT ALL! i have a rust problem with it now because i left it in the shed during a storm (i didnt wanna make a run to the house with it because i thaught it would get even more wet, but i see now i made a mistake by putting it in the shed. for now on it stays by my door in my room in a case)

    What others should know:

i reccomend using heavier pellets, for better power and accuracy and changing the scope as well. and the trigger needs work so buy a charlie trigger.

Got the Ben Titan NP Nitro Piston (notice I said NP not GP) for my Birthday, I can't seem to find it in Pyramyds'website but I have to say that this NP solid out of the box. Small scope adjustments and I'm shooting Quarter size groups and it is my first air-gun.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger was long, slow, unpredictable and a lot of pressure was needed to pull. I installed the Charlie DaTuna GRTlll trigger and it brought the pull down to 1/8th on the 1st and 2nd stages and it is SWEET!!! NO adjustment was needed after install. I have not adjusted the alan screw
