    Things I liked:

KNOCK DOWN POWER!! I cleanly take squirels out to 65 yds. Knock crows down at 50 yds. 65 yd. groups (5 shot) run about 2.25 in.

    Things I would have changed:

Sling swivels would be nice, and a better scope. The 4x32mm it came with was crap. My "adjustable" trigger is not "adjustable".

    What others should know:

My GP prefers CROSMAN hollowpoint 15.3 gr. Groups are tighter and knock down power is amazing.

    Things I liked:

After 2 scopes 14 scope adjustments, loctite and about 1200 rounds my GP is shooting about 2.5 in. groups at 60 yds. not bad for an air rifle. I take squirel at that range often.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope the rifle comes with is crap. Opt for a variable.

    What others should know:

Be sure to use the "artilery hold with this rifle. prone position is great with this gun. I took a parie dog at a ranged 67 yds.

    Things I liked:

Solid stock feel. Nitro piston is smooth. Can reach out and touch some squirrels at 60+ yards w jsb jumbo heavys. Stock scope is ok but replaced with a ugt scp-394fdrl3-a and is quite a tack driver. Penny groups at 20 yards with rws meisterkugeln pro line.

    Things I would have changed:

Gun is heavy. Should have a synthetic version available. Nail gun loud. Barrel has several chips w very little abuse. Horrible barrel droop.

    What others should know:

Nitro piston started grinding a lil after 30 or so shots and kept going to see if the gun was breaking. After a hundred or so shots the gun started acting great and groupings tightened and noise and cocking roughness went away. Gone through 600+ and no problems since

    Things I liked:

Ergonomic feel. Comes with scope. Powerful feel.

    Things I would have changed:

The overall refinement. The finish on the gun appears rushed. Large bulky screws visible. The dove tail rail needs to be deeper to have scope mount fit flush. The wood stock appears to be incompletely shaped and sanded. Near rough edges and sanding. Needs sling studs since its used as a hunting rifle.

    What others should know:

Trigger is very hard. After 100 shots pad on my finger is sore. Nice trigger travel adjustment but would be nice if trigger tension were adjustable. Use the marauders trigger. The initial barrel break is rough and should be smoothed/easier. The cocking pressure is about expected. After shooting for two hour's my shoulder from recoil feels sore. Accuracy is lacking BUT it is still getting broken in. For the money this is a powerhouse and its lack of refinement is to be expected.

    Things I liked:

bought the rifle about a month ago. the 3x32mm scope it came with was crap. replaced it with a 3x9-32mm. after zeroing the scope, groups ran about 1 in. at 30 yds.. to make a long story short, after several hundred rounds point of impact dropped about 5 in., it did this twice!!! i removed the scope and remounted(using loc-tite this time) after two more adjustments it's finally holding zero. groups run about 2 in. at 60 yds. and I take Arizona squirrel at that range often. all together i've got about $240 in this rifle, not a bad deal for what it is capable of

    What others should know:

i think about 70 yds. is about max range for anything except birds

    Things I liked:

Heavy, well built, decent stock. .22cal Shoots and hits hard. This gun shot well out of the box. I'm very pleased with it. I wanted the .177,but they are no longer available.

    Things I would have changed:

long trigger pull. scope is ok. I Would like to see Made in the USA on the gun.

    What others should know:

Good bang for the buck. Smooth cock and fire. no twang after shot. Sends pellets singing down range. Not a Toy.

Powerful! Impressive! Had to get a "Good" air rifle after losing family Dog. The problem, Tree Rats!! I purchased this Rifle to fill the Void. Wow! What a Rifle! First shot, Tree Branch, 40ft, You know the sound that a knife makes when you first cut a watermelon. And the pellet, inch and a half into 14in Maple!Impressive!

    Things I would have changed:

    Heavy!!! Sling Mounts!

    What others should know:

Use the 10 for $10! Out of the box, accurate!

    Things I liked:

I shopped, and compared FPS, price, tech. and chose the Tiatn GP .22 ca. WOW ! For $148.00 I cant believe the accuracy, and the astounding penetration of different materials at 60 yards plus with a 14.3 grain ! Very smooth operational, nice finish. This will prompt me to buy another Nitro Piston, probably in a .25, Thanx for a fair deal! BNJ

    Things I would have changed:

I dont know how you could give any more for the dollar, I would not change nothing, THANX! BNJ

    What others should know:

It shoots and feels like a gun costing twice the price !

    Things I liked:

This thing is made with fine wood and steel. The top rail is long for scoping for any length neck! Drilled center stop! No need for a scope stop! Mounts for scope are durable and tight, with 4 top allens and 2 base allens per tower! Not going anywhere! Friction material mounted already inside mounts! Can you say ready to go? Trigger is fine, a replica for a fish guys only in black. Scope has a anti glare and sun screen built into the caps! Tune what! This thing is smooth and nearly vibration free out of the box!

    Things I would have changed:

    Not a thing!

    What others should know:

For the money you get a thumper out of the box. I would caution to take your time mounting the scope. If you feel the scope is off it is in your mount job. Take it off and start over think of every detail and it will come right in. The videos from the accadamy help me greatly. 150 bucks for a knock down thumper with a scope and a nitro piston smoothness that matches a a well tuned springer. You know why there not in stock much:-)

    Things I liked:

Initial appearance was nice. Cocking mechanism was smooth.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger has and terrible second stage. Crossmans are known for that. Needs a better mounting system for muzzle as mine would want to slide off about every 10 shots. Had to use loctite on everything.

    What others should know:

After about 300-400 shots the nitro piston started acting funny causing to stray shots every where or not even kick pellet out at all. Nitro piston got to where it wouldn't even engage. Have a crossman phantom that has been great for half the price. Got my refund and ordered a tech force tf89.22.

    Things I liked:

I love the way it clicks into place while cocking. Cocking and firing cycle is very smooth. Accuracy is good.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger is bad. Scope is bad.

    What others should know:

Mine was detonating terribly when I got it. I took it apart to clean it and found that the piston seal was torn. Pyramyd and Crosmand were great and sent me a new seal with no questions asked. Accuracy is good as stated above, but it is very hold sensitive. I definitely have to concentrate to keep the groups small. The trigger was terrible so I bought an aftermarket blade. It definitely improved things and now I can feel a second stage. The new trigger blade did not, however, turn it into a Rekord, so manage your expectations if you decide to do it. Bottom line is that I am now a believer in gas pistons, but I'll probably look into getting one that's less powerful so that it's not so hold sensitive.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is just as advertised... It's a great .22 caliber break-barrel. Regardless of any negative reviews by previous reviewers, if their gun comes as mine did, you will not be sorry. On the first day, I tried power tests on my 30’ pistol range with a 1” pine backstop. After a quick “zero-in” I was putting Crosman premier pellets in a 3/8” bull every time. (Note: use a 2” pine backstop because the 1” back-stop had a 1” hole in it after the first three shots. In the field this rifle/scope combo (which I paid $159.00 for) zeroed in at 60 yards right off the bat – punching holes through a coffee can at that distance with Crosman premier pellets. I took a crow from a tree at a "measured" 70 yards and the crow was about 50’ up. Dropped deader'n a door-nail. Took a Norway Rat with a 9" body (not counting the tail) with one shot through the noggin - dead! No twang of a spring. Pretty quiet. Easy to cock for someone reasonably strong. (30lbs) A good small game rifle for a great price for small game under 80 yards...

    Things I would have changed:

The finish was just OK, but rubbing it down with "Birchwood Casey" (Stock Sheen Conditioner) and (Tru-Oil Gun Stock Finish) made this air rifle absolutely beautiful. The Benjamin Titan GP Nitro Piston Air Rifle is HEAVY, but hey, we all need out exercise... don't we?

    What others should know:

Like many break-barrel air guns, this will not allow for "De-Cocking", it must be fired after loading and cocking before you put it away. A mistake with this gun could be deadly for sure.

    Things I would have changed:

May be A some qualty control some burrs on barrel break area (Not pyramyd Air fault)

    What others should know:

I bought two of these guns for my boys and one seems to have more power then the other we thought after break in it would change but it has not after about 300 pellets is it posible the nitro piston in one is not up to snuff?

    Things I would have changed:

The safety needs to have a little more room in front of the trigger its hard to get your finger behind it.

    What others should know:

For the money you will look long and hard to find a better gun. Im looking forward to many years of shooting with this gun

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

The rifle is a solid (heavy!) and smooth firing. Shooting it side by side with one of my sping-types, there is a noticeable lack of secondary recoil you feel in a spring gun. No torque, no twang. The accuracy with the accompanying scope (4X32 CenterLine) was never tried. I put on a BSA 3-12X44, struggled through the 100 shot break in period, then started getting some very tight groups from both 50 and 100 feet. The velocity is sufficient (I don't have access to a chronograph), and the punch (kinetic energy) seems to be there. Oh, yeah...... this rifle is VERY quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is a standard Crosman. I WILL be switching out for a GRT-III.

    What others should know:

This is small money to pay for an accurate, solid, quiet, powerful air rifle. You could spend a lot more and end up with an inferior gun. If it wasn't for the trigger and inferior low powered scope, it would compete with air rifles costing twice the price.

    Things I liked:

This is my first nitro piston air rifle although I have owned many other types. I have to say it is the absolute best value on the market. Great power and accuracy. Cocking the rifle is very smooth.

    Things I would have changed:

Mine seems to prefer the Crossman hollow points but will shoot anything you put in it accurately.

    What others should know:

This rifle is accurate enough that it really deserves a quality adjustable scope.

  • Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

great range, with the right scope zeroed you can reach out and touch a lot of different "small game". Also great for basic target practice. I like the operating system of this particular rifle with the nitrogen piston over typical spring piston operating systems that i have encountered with standard .177 break-barrel rifles. Great groupings of shots, but this also varies with range and weather conditions.

    Things I would have changed:

Drawbacks of this particular rifle are no "iron sights", and hard to find various ammo types other then hollowpoints. I'm not to fancy with the stock design or the wood grain finish. I wish it came in a synthetic stock, or even a camo finish of some sorts. I wish the artificial suppressor they refer to as the compensator actually reduced more of the muzzle noise like i have seen on other air rifles. Depending on weather conditions the drop rate of the round varies.

    What others should know:

This air rifle is overall very good and i recommend for anyone to buy, beginner shooter or experienced. I haven't been able to fully test the maximum range of the weapon yet. Living in city limits has the drawbacks of this. But has good penetration regardless. Example, this rifle can penetrate your standard 8 foot privacy fence w/ weathered wood at about 100 yards w/ hollowpoints. This was my first .22 caliber air rifle and needless to say i'm quite impressed, but that is kind of biased because as i said, my first .22 air rifle.

    Things I liked:

Great power and accuracy, priced right. Absolutely ANNHILATES pests at all ranges I've tried.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger on this gun is slightly nightmarish. It has a long, unpredictable pull. The scope is only average.

    What others should know:

A GRT-III trigger ought to clear it right up.

    Things I liked:

Smoother and quieter than the springers. The Nitro Piston is a winner. Less recoil for the same fps. Groups nicely.

    Things I would have changed:

4X scope is a little low for 50 - 75 yard ranges .... within easy reach of this gun. I never mounted it, preferring instead a Leapers 4-12X.

    What others should know:

    Buy a lot of pellets!

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

This rifle without a doubt is the best gun you can buy for the amount of money spent. Smooth firing action, great durability, excellent accuracy, and power make this rifle a winner!

    Things I would have changed:

Id like to see the rifle offered without the thumb-hole stock. Although I like the stock it would be nice to have variety.

    What others should know:

This Nitro Piston technology is very impressive. The shooting action is so much smoother than a springer which leads to greatly improved accuracy. Combine that with the hunting knockdown power of the 22 pellet makes this gun perfect for small game hunting.
