    Things I liked:

    Nice feel.. solid product

    Things I would have changed:

Should come with single shot insert for larger Pellets and at least a cheap sling for the price.

    What others should know:

I havent had good enough weather to shoot as much as I would like but I am finding that 80% of my shots are dead on and the other 20% are veering off target by an inch and a half or so in all directions. Very frustrating since accuracy is main reason for purchase. Still to early to call it a bad buy. If you get a hard case for it make sure it fits! I got the single scoped Plano case with installation and it arrived with 3 of the 4 clips open, upon inspection I discovered the rifle had zero clearance top or bottom making it almost impossible to actually close the case unless you force the top closed pushing it against the scope.

    Things I liked:

Hi all. I have both the .22 and .177 Marauders. The accuracy is amazing. My son and I have taken Black Birds out to 83 yards with no problem. We have taken Rabbits and squirrels out past 50 yards with one shot kills. The Marauder has no problem with power. It is very quiet and the 10 round mag. is a plus. I have two Marauders and would recommend to anyone that is looking for an accurate and powerful rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I would like to give a big THANKS to Nickie and Richelle for taking care of my problems. When I received the .177 Marauder it was damaged. I called Pyramyd and they were on top of there game. People like Nickie and Richelle make a place like Pyramyd a great place to buy all of your Air Gun equipment

    Things I liked:

As advertized, very quiet, powerful, and comfortable to hold. Some one is reading the reviews because all complaints that were made have been corrected. Very good workmanship. Accuracy is good but Discovery is better right out of the box. I shimed the barrel band on the Marauder, now they are about even.

    Things I would have changed:

Rethink the free floated barrel. Make left and right hand modles to reduce weight and cluby feel of stock. Single shot adapter should come with gun. This gun can't be loaded with fingers.

    What others should know:

This powerful gun doesn't like light pellets. RWS 14.5 in all shapes shoot fine.Kodiak Extra Heavey 21.10, H+N Baracuda match 21.14, Eunjin 28.5 are the best in this gun. No scope adjustments needed on 50' rimfire range. The Crosman premium pellets that came with the gun shoot a patern not a group. Beeman Silver Arrow 17.10 the scope needs to be sited in and doesn't group well. Much better gun for lefty than Discovery. the safety on the Marauder works better for hunting and you don't have to try and reload with gloves on.

    Things I liked:

Nicely checkered stock and its very quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

Very pellet picky. Even with the pellets it likes, every 10th pellet is a flyer. Something is very funny here.

    What others should know:

Very pellet picky rifle. Quite a few ppl I know had to sent theirs back.

    Things I liked:

The marauder in 22 is bad to the bone, I have had it a couple weeks now and still am amazed by the accuracy and silence this thing. I have shot 5 ground hogs and a few jackrabbits and it has performed very well, I am planning on going for turkey this spring season. I am able to hit shotgun shells at 50-60 yards everytime this gun doesnt know how to miss.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing at all

    What others should know:

The gun is a bit heavy but it more than makes up for that in accuracy and power, if I do my part I cant miss.

    Things I liked:

Fit and finish are perfect, the stock is well stained, with deep color. The trigger is awesome right out of the box, but it can be customized by first and second stage pull length adjustments. The rotary clip is great and works well. I recommend the single shot tray as well. My range has a 5 shot magazine limit, so the single shot tray is a blessing when there. The dust cap for the fill nozzel feels substantial, not a cheap plastic snap on, but a screw on aluminum one, hefty. Super accurate, with decent glass on top you can compete and hunt small game with confidence. I have the hand pump from Benjamin. and it works well so far. 60 pumps to get from 2000 to 3000 PSI. That is about 50 full power shots per fill AVG 840-860 FPS with 14.3 gr pellet.

    Things I would have changed:

Include the single shot tray adapter in the basic rifle box, with a set of rings that will work well on the rifle. You must buy a 2 pc ring set since the magazine prevents a 1 pc base set-up. Also buy a tube of silicon chamber oil for regular maintenance of the seals, not PELLGUNOIL but chamber oil.

    What others should know:

I mounted an Elite 4200 6x24x40 AOl and had to buy BURRIS SIGNATURE ZEE RINGS to get enough downard recticle movement to get POI and POA to meet at 25 yds. The full -20 up front and full +20 in the back were needed to get the crosshair to meet the pellets (with full adjustment of scope remaining). Discovery PCP 14.3 gr seems to do best in mine, I have tried H&N Barracuda, Premiers, RWS H POINTS, JSB 14.3gr and 18.1gr. The PCP's are the most consistant at 25 yards. The gun runs best for me at 2400 PSI (with the factory power settings) that is 850 FPS. Higher pressure than that 2900-2500)PSI) and the groups get to be an inch at 25 yards, from 2400-1900 PSI they are 1/3 of an inch with Discovery PCP pellets. Lower than 1800 PSI and I start to see the pellets drop POI.

    Things I liked:

This is not my first Air Gun but it is my first PCP and after months of reading reviews on various PCPs I decided on the Marauder and I am so pleased with the quality that Crossman has put into this Air Gun. I opted for the Pre packaged deal #3 without the hard case and it was a great decision on my part.Kudos To Crossman and Pyramid Air. Keep up the good work. I have had the gun for about a week now and have about 200 rounds through it and it is a tack driver. I adjusted the velocity up by one turn and the hammer and striker to max adjustment and have had spectacular results with accuracy and penitration. This is going to make an excelant small game Air gun. I mainly hunt squirrels,Rabbits,Raccoon,Possum,Starrlings,Sparrows,Gophers, rats and Pigeons. This Gun will more than suffice for the above mentioned game.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing,Croosman has a good thing going here and I hope they keep it just the way it is.

    What others should know:

The Marauder is heavy, but not unmanageable. Add a good sling and you will not have a problem. Pumping with the Benjamin pump is a little bit of a work out but not as bad as some say. Just take your time and I found that if you pause for a second or two at the top of the intake stroke then push down it seams to give the pump a little more time to fill up.

    Things I liked:

This gun is top quality. It is everything that I read about and watched on videos. This PCP is my first and I am so happy I chose the Marauder. You can adjust the fill pressure to 3000 psi for hpa and 1/4 turn out on the power adjuster and wow. I shot completely through a 5/8" piece of plywood with benjamin discovery hollow points,14.3 grain. Plenty of power.

    Things I would have changed:

It is heavy but this is a plus when trying to hold steady for a shot offhand. Add a sling and sling it over the shoulder when hunting.

    What others should know:

Pumping is not a problem with the Benjamin pump. I found if you take your time and pause slightly on the up stroke to allow the pump to fill with air you can have the gun pumped in no time.

    Things I liked:

EVERYTHING! Wow, where to begin! This rifle is in a completely different league from any other air rifle I have ever owned. It is extremely quiet, beautiful, and deathly accurate. The trigger is the stuff of dreams for those of us who have ever been frustrated with a terrible trigger. It came out of the box at just over 1 pound and it can be lightened to only a few ounces!

    Things I would have changed:

I would change the position of the Velocity Adjustment so that removing the stock would not be necessary. Maybe a dial on the side like some of the Air Arms guns have.

    What others should know:

This rifle is tunable even without a chronograph for shots per fill. I have mine tuned to 3000 psi fill pressure and I use the velocity screw to control the number of shots I get between 3000 and 2000 psi. Very easy rifle to adjust even for someone like me who has never adjusted a rifle before. I can get anywhere from 30 - 75 shots per fill using this method.

    Things I liked:

Very nice looking gun. I have shot 4 different pellets through the Marauder 22 caliber. Discovery pellets group best. 40 and 50 yard shots at black birds are no problem. I have never owned a PCP before and I am thankfull for the reviews posted on this site. The reviews here were one of the reasons I chose to hold out for the Marauder. Very pleased with the Marauder. Thanks for everyones input.

    Things I would have changed:

The gun is a little on the heavy side (nothing major) comparatively speaking. Maybe a slimmer stock would cut down a little excess weight. The pressure gauge on the gun does not match the gauge on the hand pump, its off a couple hundred PSI (gun shows less pressure). I use the gauge on the pump rather than the gauge on the gun. Maybe there is a better quality gauge that could be used for this application.

    What others should know:

I purchased the Benjamin air pump. It was the cheaper of three Pyramid has to offer. It seems to do fine, time will tell.

    Things I liked:

My Marauder is the most accurate heavy hitter long range .17 caliber air rifle I own. After I turned up the velocity. I am getting 1150 FPS with 7.9gr Crosman Points and 1050 FPS with 10.5gr Crosman Premiers with devastating accuracy. I did not even try any of the super light pellets because the 7.9gr pellets were cracking like a .22, after breaking the sound barrier. The ten shot rotary magazine works very smoothly, which makes shooting this rifle a lot more fun than a single shot.

    Things I would have changed:

I personally like a carbine length barrel, which the Marauder is not, (there is a reason for its length). I would have put the main trigger tension adjustment screw and the velocity adjustment where they could be accessed without taking the stock off the action. I would also turn the pressure guage over 180 degrees, so it could be read it easier from the standing position. Crosman should have printed a more informative manual to match the level of sophistication of this air rifle. A lot of people do not have a chronograph to tune their gun.

    What others should know:

Before you shoot your new Marauder for the first time, be sure and clean the bore. My string type bore cleaner would not go through the baffels, so I had to use a cleaning rod. To adjust to higher velocity. I turned the velocity adjustment screw out to 3 1/2 turns from bottom, the stock adjustment was 2 1/2 turns from bottom, I adjusted in one turn on the hammer tension spring and out one turn on the hammer travel length to achieve the velocities printed above, with a full 3000psi charge.

    Things I liked:

Trigger is very good, choked barrel, 10 shot repeater, overall quality, very silent. and accurate. good looking. but most of all is 3 variable adjustment for power, you can almost adjust it for any speed you want, from maybe 350 fps to 1000 fps. its a great air rifle, and the price is good to.

    Things I would have changed:

i would like it in a thumhole ambi version.

    What others should know:

you wont get that much for the price, a have seen grups as good as an as 410. at 66 yrds.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Of course the classic bolt action with 10 shot magazine. The accuracy was insane, I was getting dime sized groupings at 53 yards. I got the rifle in .22 caliber and i "accidentally" shot my fence, and unfortunately the fence was not strong enough to withstand the impact, so the pellet went through my fence and hit my neighbors fence on the other side (another 50-55 yards). I heard 2 impacts one right after the other. I was shooting through an inch of MDF board and the pellets were embedding themselves into my fence right behind it. It's not too heavy for me, and i dry fired it inside my room and was amazed with how quiet it is. When i shot it outside, hitting the MDF particle board was louder than the actual shot.

    Things I would have changed:

The "ping" sound after you fire it. I would love some open sites on it. I wish the magazine can hold larger pellets, I wish they threw in those single shot trays for free because my fat fingers can't fit inside. I wish they gave you a choice on the side of the magazine, because i've heard that the older models had magazine that loaded on the left side. Since i'm a right handed shooter, it would be easier for me to see how many shots i have left. I wouldn't mind seeing this air rifle in a synthetic black stock. (this thing is a scratch magnet) Pyramydair did an awesome job at protecting the air rifle and pump. BUT i bought a combo package so it came with a pump and 500 rounds of the benjamin 14.3 grain hollow point pellets. It also came with a tin of crossman pointed pellets. they sort of just threw them in the box without their infamous protective wrapping of the pellets (which i didn't really care for) but somewhere between pyramydair and my house the box had this GIGANTIC hole in the center of it, i was actually carrying it in a way where one of the tins and extra magazine i bought slipped out. The box they used was tough as nails, so.... what's up UPS? The hole was bigger than the packing label...

    What others should know:

The part of the gun that is "choked", or where that metal band sort of links the air reservoir and the barrel was kind of out of center. I used a 5/64 allen wrench to loosen it and center it.

Bought the Benjamin Marauder .177 cal., from Pyramyd Air a few days ago. This thing is very accurate, quiet, and sweet, especially when using the .177 cal., Predator Polymag Pellets.Best air gun I have ever purchased. Mine was purchased with a 4-16x50 Leapers Scope. Love it. I will soon have no more pest and varmit problems. Will be taking it out to do some small game hunting next.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing other than include the air pump and a 10 round magazine in the purchase price like the Benjamin Discovery.

    What others should know:

This is by no means a kids gun. Use extreme caution. It is powerful and deadly.

    Things I liked:

Everything others mention, in addition to a big emphasis on the 10-shot repeater clip, especially if you intend to hunt or use for varmint control (read below).

    Things I would have changed:

Sweet as it is! Anything that I can think of would likely increase cost and not be a universally wanted addition.

    What others should know:

Squirrels are classified as varmints (damage-causing animals) in Texas and therefore are fair game all year. Consider this hunting or pest-control to best fit your preference, as it would be considered both: 10-SHOT REPEATER action saved the day. Target moved as trigger was pulled, wounding it and sending it scrambling for cover (it's hole in the eaves!). A fast follow-up missed as the target was moving very briskly. Pulled the bolt and made the third and final shot at the eave opening. 3 shots within 5 seconds! Those fast follow-up shots saved Nana from having a very stinky house come Christmas. Target was at 30 yards.

I very like of this Benjamin Merauder is the Accuracy , nice wood stock and the very-very quiet. I not believed about this quiet until i receive this gun. I this all the gun must follow what this gun feature.

    Things I would have changed:

No things to change because this gun already made perfectly.

    What others should know:

This gun deliver a stable pressure below 2700psi, at 3000 psi the hammer not give a right pressure. This gun cannot be used for the long range target, can be used at 40 to 60 yard.

    Things I liked:

ACCURACY - ACCURACY - ACCURACY - This thing is amazing - I have 50 yards of shooting room in the back yard and wish I had more to really see what this monster will do. I know at 50 yards, using Beeman Kodiaks 22 cal I can cover 10 shots with a dime EVERY TIME !! More often then not most of the shots are in the same hole. QUIET - QUIET - QUIET - The neighbors do not have a clue this gun is being shot. It is truely unbelievable the first time you shoot it and hear that little ping and then hear that WHACK when it smacks the target. POWER !!!!!!!!! The 10 shot clip is a blessing when you are out after those tree rats. I have sat under one tree and took my limit with one clip. They never know you are there the gun is so quiet, and so little movement with the clip, versus a break barrel. The clip is definitely not rocket science to load. Watch the video and it can be loaded in less than 30 seconds no problem. I have two clips and not a single issue with either so far. I have had mine almost a year and have not had a single issue with the gun.

    Things I would have changed:

The stock was a bit wide for my taste so I decided to customize it myself. I took off the left comb and some width on the forearm and shortened it back about 3 inches. Feels much better now.....Not that it was that bad to start with. No biggie, just my personal taste......DO NOT let this deter you !!!!!!!

    What others should know:

JUST BUY IT ! You will NOT be disappointed ! I searched EVERY PCP out there before deciding on the Marauder. Not sure what on earth those high priced oversea models could possibly do any better than this jewel ! Being a 1st time PCP owner I went with the handpump. It is NOT the monster you read about in other reviews. I have shot thousands upon thousands of rounds thru the gun and it pumps back up to my set pressure with minimal effort on the pump. I am still searching for a small backpackable tank for those "all day" trips that doesn't cost almost as much as the rifle. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Do yourself a big favor and get this rifle. You WILL LOVE IT ! Medium and large size game is not a problem either. The Beeman Kodiaks and Eunjins have knocked down everything I have shot at......Just remember - head shots head shots head shots !

Accuracy, Perfect trigger setting right out of the box, Accuracy, 10 shot clip, Accuracy, Nice wood stock with swivel studs already attached, Accuracy, and Oooohh So Quiet. This thing is a critter killing machine.......ehhrr I mean a fine hunting air rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

I have two minor gripes - occasionally the bolt will not slide back as easily as it should; feels like it just needs lube, but then it will slide back several times in a row with no problem ? - and the other gripe is the clip (rotary magazine) should have been designed a bit deeper for the longer pellets like Predators and Euhn Jins.

    What others should know:

I have the .22 version mated with an Airforce 4-16 x 50 scope on high rings, and I got the Benjamin hand pump. I strongly suggest not scimping on the scope with this gun, it is lethal at 50 yards and beyond. I use mine mostly for hunting which it excells at. I set up the valve and cocking spring adjustments for max. velocity, and with a 3000 psi fill I can get 30 shots with a 80 ft/sec spread from shot 1 to shot 30 when using Predator polymag pellets. The velocity spread is from about 850 to 930 ft/sec and at shot 30 the pressure is at around 2000 psi. In practical terms, at 25 yards I can put all 30 shots in a quarter sized area and at 50 yards I get a vertical string about 1.5" tall, consistent with the velocity rise and fall from 3000 to 2000 psi. Man, it is so nice to be able to just pull this thing out of the bag and be confident that I will hit what I'm aiming at without having to be so carefull with how I'm holding the stock, or wondering when the trigger will break the way you do with so many springers. I've had mine now for about 6 months, put about 2000 - 2500 pellets through it and I absolutely love it. Even though the whole kit (gun, scope, rings, pump, extra clips) is pricey, for me it was well worth it.

Everything...this is very accurate. I only like to shoot accurate weapons and with this I can practice for cheap. I have the Scuba setup for charging and it takes 4 secs and I'm shooting again another 40rds. This feels just like any of my centerfile rifles without the recoil. Bolt action, accurate! RWS pellets are very good, Crossman pointed (tin can) are so far the best. I love this gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing really...but if you want to be picky, I guess I can always paint it black, Im really never been into the classic look...but this gun is amazing..

    What others should know:

Seems to be very accurate @2000-2300psi with RWS pellets. However, it makes no difference with the Crossman Pointed tin can. This guns feels like the real thing, but cheaper to shoot plus you can shoot at home.
