very tunable for whatever kind of shooting you want

    Things I would have changed:

a little on the heavy side, a lighter composite stock would be nice

    What others should know:

i have one in .177 & .25 i tuned both for max power and both are hitting hard. the .177 at 30 yards and the .25 at 50 yards. these guns are a great bargin for the money, the only thing i'd like to see is a lighter weight stock.

    Things I liked:

An Excellent accurate gun, able to hold its own against much more expensive guns. I bought a Discovery .22 cal and loved it, so I figured this would be the better big bro. Yep, good guess-along with all the excellent reviews out there already -I highly recommend this gun!

    Things I would have changed:

At 8.5 lbs and add a scope and lead it's hefty, but well balanced, I would (and did )add a sling. I would reccomend a metal clip as the plastic ones seem a bit cheesy compared to Evanix's. I did add a bit of plexitube in the chamber to de-ping and added a stronger spring -getting more and quieter shots. I also added a muzzlebrake with more baffles that is the same diameter making it a bit longer -really suiting the guns overall apppearance.

    What others should know:

Definitely some easy upgrades that make an already great gun better are available out there on youtube and worth a try if you have the knack.

    Things I liked:

I LIKE ALLMOST EVERY THING ABOUT IT.THE GUN WILL BE A LITTLE HEAVY FOR SOME BUT NOT BY MUCH.I HAVE A .177 AND A .22 AND BOTH SHOOT FANTASTIC GROUPS. FOR THE PRICE YOU CANT BEAT IT.

    Things I would have changed:

I WOULD LIKE FOR IT TO BE A LITTLE LIGHTER AND MAKE A SINGLE SHOT VERSION WITH A WIDER LOADING PORT LIKE MY AA S400.

    What others should know:

WHEN I RECEIVED MY .22 IT SHOT VERY BAD.NOTHING I TRIED WOULD IMPROVE IT.THE BOLT WAS HARD TO PULL BACK AND IT WAS VERY ROUGH. I CALLED PYRAMYD AIR AND THEY TOLD ME TO SEND IT BACK AND THEY WOULD SEND ME ANOTHER GUN AND MAKE SURE IT WORKED LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO.THEY WERE TRUE TO THEIR WORD. THE NEW ONE IS FANTASTIC.ALL OF THE PEOPLE THAT I TALKED TO WERE VERY HELPFUL. YOU WANT GO WRONG DEALING WITH THESE FOLKS. THERE CAN BE DUDS IN ABOUT ANYTHING THAT YOU BUY BUT IT'S GOOD TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE COMPANYS LIKE PYRAMYD AIR OUT THERE TO DO BUISNESS WITH.

    Things I liked:

What a great rifle! I'm sure it will always be better than me. My Marauder only has 150 shots through it and it's making me look pretty good. After four or five hundred shots, I'll clean the barrel, gather data, and determine the pellets that work best, based on fps, pellet weight, pellet groups, and fill pressues.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing so far.

    What others should know:

The clip stuck in the rifle once. One quickly learns not to double load a pellet. Scared the crap out of me. It took some time to push, pull and wiggle the clip free with my fingers. The first thing airgunners should know is that Piramid Air Gun Mall is the place for all things airgun.

    Things I liked:

This rifle has amazing power in .25 caliber. It is the most accurate rifle I've ever used (including powder burners). I recently bought mine and put only about 100 shots through it.

    Things I would have changed:

On mine, the wood finish could be better, for the price. I think it should come with removable iron sites, so one wouldn't have to spring for paying for a scope when you buy the rifle.

    What others should know:

This is a very powerful, accurate and useful hunting tool. It is not good for indoor target practice unless you have one the the silent traps with very thick duct seal. My duct seal lined metal trap makes a loud bang when it's whacked by heavy .25 caliber pellet. Too loud for indoor shooting. I plan to buy the Archer Silent trap and try again, but I suspect it will be a out-door range only rifle for me. I use the Hill pump. This is bit of a workout, but I'm sure I'll adapt.

    Things I liked:

I have had many spring air rifles in the past and rim fire. The benjamin Marauder In 22 cal is the most accurate out of the box. Groops 10 shots in 3/4 of an inch at 60 yadrs. Has plenty of power for small game rabits squirls coons and ext. Its also very quiet and having a follow up shots in hunting situations. Triger is great for hunting use and target shooting. Nice to have sling studs

    Things I would have changed:

Its kind of heavy. Adding a 2 piece picatainy rail for more options. eaiser ajusted power

    What others should know:

Heaver pellets seem to be more accurate like 16 gr to 20 gr. I was leary at first to spend that much on an air rifle but its worth it great rifle

    Things I liked:

Quiet. Reasonable price. Accurate. Modifiable with Crosman parts. Good aftermarket parts.

    Things I would have changed:

    Too heavy & bulky.

    What others should know:

The rifle is heavy (mine is 0.177 cal). The stock alone is 3.5 lbs, and the total weight is 9 lbs (gun only - athough mine does have a regulator, but I can't imagine that being more than a few ounces). I don't know where Crosman gets the "7.5 lbs" figure because it's balony. Add a required scope & you probably have a 10+ pound rifle. Plus, it's bulky, IMO. I wish Crosman would slim this thing down & put it on a diet.

    Things I liked:

Looks fantastic when you pull it out of the box and has the weight and dimensions of a true rifle. The stock is beautiful and my family loves the high cheek rest. The trigger is fantastic and the safety for me is perfect because it can be engaged anytime. The receiver has plenty of room for three scope rings. The clips are excellent, easy to load, and when in use, have this little easy to see window on the clear side facing you, indicator of which shot you are on.

    Things I would have changed:

People complain about the weight of this rifle. Forget about that cause those same people complain about other rifles being too light. That said, the only thing I have a very minor problem with is the bolt doesn't lock down tight when it's locked and cocked, also check the allen set bolt on the bolt to make sure it's tight. A synthetic stock would be sweet for this as I live in a pretty wet area.

    What others should know:

When I received this from PA I was astonished at what you really are getting for the money. You don't see it in the pictures but this is a REAL rifle as far as size and weight, that is where the similarity ended for me though, because right out of the box, with an old Glenfield scope from the early 1970,s, I proceeded to sight in within five shots the most accurate rifle I have ever owned, and I have owned alot. The one thing I could never do was get my family interested in shooting, this all changed when this rifle came to my home. I shot some strings in my yard that to me were beyond belief, I mean, five shot groups at fourty yards that all touched and getting better. Well, now all the family wants to shoot and their progress is so rapid with so little coaching that my only option is to buy more of these sweet machines so they can have their own and I can get back to shooting mine. My eleven year old son spends his spare time now in the yard with the rifle managing pests and has decided he wants one in .22, music to my ears. My .25 is supremely powerful and carries excellent energy to 80 yards. Get a scuba tank. I got an 80 cubic foot and get better than 15 fills when I refill from 2,000 psi on up. At about 15 fills the pressure is now at about 2500 psi in the scuba tank. I use the hand pump to finish it off if I am going for a walk in the woods and this is a fast operation. Try to put dry air into your Marauder. Thank you Benjamin/ Crosman. This is progress.

Great Rifle, very accurate and powerful in .25. Did I mention it is very accurate? By the way, this rifle is accurate. You will enjoy the accuracy of this rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Give it a larger air resevoir, maybe a butt stock tank like the talon or the condor.

    What others should know:

The .25 uses alot of air. you will get about 16-24 usable shots in the 2000 to 3000 psi range.s

They knocked it out of the park with this gun, everything I read an viewed on u-tube was very accurate. The accuracy is amazing, fit an finish for this price of gun is great, ease of charging, loading an handling priceless ! (well maybe not priceless but damn Nice)

    Things I would have changed:

When your in the price range of this gun considering the adjustability, all the features it's hard to whine about anything.

    What others should know:

I've shot an handled gun's most of my life, then decided to get into air gunning, this is my second air gun, I could have saved a lot of money if I had started with the Marauder, (I'm 70 yrs. old an still trying to get-er-done)

    Things I liked:

Very substantial weight. I have had adult air rifles for 28 years and the Beeman R1 can still shoot with the best of them. Their are alot of hobbyists out there who have to change everything. The Marauder group is no different. Chnage this, change that, blah, blah. Find a good pellet, buy 10,000 of them, find the right pressure and speed and shoot 'em up. Enjoy!

    Things I would have changed:

Bolt removal screw should be in a location NOT below the scope.

    What others should know:

Try someone elses pump and or air tank before you order. You will probably NOT buy the pump. Do not get me wrong. I have the pump and I have a tank coming but with the political environement we live in who knows whether we will have electricity or scuba shops to fill our tanks. The pump is good insurance.

just got mine yesterday upgraded from the disco i love the multi-shot but it seems to have a lot more drop then the discovery but it shoots about the same fps not sure on that. insanely sturdy no wiggle at all

    Things I would have changed:

    so far nothing

    What others should know:

go with a scuba tank i need to buy one the pump works fine but the o-rings get striped from high pressure(easy fix if you know how) but its also a good work out i give it 5 out of 5 i already have a squirrel and 3 sparrows down =) video will be up on my channel theoneshotsniper withing the week and you can decide yourself =)

    Things I liked:

I recently purchased a .25cal Marauder. I also own a Benjamin Trail NP XL .177. The best features of the Marauder are it's power, accuracy, low noise, minimal recoil and trigger action.

    Things I would have changed:

The bolt action, at least on my rifle, is not as smooth or consistent as it should be. Even after making sure there was grease on the bolt and adjusting the top screw, the action is sticky.

    What others should know:

I have a target range set up in my back yard. I found the Benjamin Dome and JSB Exact Kings give the most consistent performance at ranges of 20 - 75 yards. The JSB's have better penetration, of my Prairie Dog targets and wooden backstops, at ranges of 50+ yards. At 20 yards I am grouping 8 shots from a clip inside a dime (I was amazed). I am holding 1 to 1-1/2" groups at 55 Yds(with cross wind) and 1 to 2"groups at 75 yards (Crosswind). I expect to do better with more practice. My settings are 6, 12 and 4 1/2(see Marauder Manual) and I am getting 24 shots with a 3000psi fill (I do not shoot below 2000psi). I purchased a Hill pump as I was concerned after reading some of the reviews on the Benjamin pump. I like the Hill Pump. I find it takes about 3 pumps per shot and 2-3 minutes to refill from 2000psi to 3000psi. Normally I shoot 3 to 6 clips per day so the pump is the best refill option for me. The difference between my break barrel and the Marauder is astounding. I am very pleased with my purchase. The PA sales staff was very helpful and allowed me to customize my own "Package Deal". I would highly recommend the PA "10 for $10" service. It is an excellent value and saved me a lot of time. The rifle arrived ready to shoot.

Plenty of power. Everything works, tried, tested, and true! Lots of mods available to address power needs. Very accurate with OEM Green River barrel. Neighborhood friendly...quiet report when fired.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

There is no downside to the Marauder in any caliber. Granted the .25 is a bit longer and heavier, but it's a heavy duty rifle. Equipped with a bi-pod, it will out shoot 99% of shooters. For the price, it's a bargain! This is my second .25, and my third Marauder. Put a decent scope on this rifle and you will never want to part with it.

    What others should know:

you get more than you pay for, this gun in .25 cal. is deceptively quiet for the power level out of the box i have fired close to 1000 rounds and still giggle every time i pull the trigger i live in the city and have no problem with the sound level my best accuracy shoot by far today was shooting a can that was hanging by a small copper wire at 35 yrds i aimed at the wire above the tab let one fly and the can fell ,i hit the wire at 85 yrds my gun will put 16 shots into a quarter sized area with minimal effort on my part

absolutely nothing, gun is perfect as is

    What others should know:

i have the .25 cal marauder and its extremely powerful and quiet, it loves the jsb jumbo exact kings and the h&n barracuda. havent tried the polymags yet but i am sure they will perform just as well. the power is great... it knocked over my friends heavy swinging steel plate, which his .22 cal hammerli barely moved. i run mine with factory settings and i get about 20 shots with jsb's before i have to refill the tank back up from 2000 psi. the accuracy is incredible... at 25 yards, shot an 8 shot (1 magazine) group with the jsb kings and it measured 9 mm center to center... and the barracuda were a close second at 10mm ctc. havent tried any long range shots yet.... dont have the space.... 25 yards is the max distance i have at the moment. dont get the benjamin pointed pellets... 2.5 inch group at 25 yards... just horrible... gun is not pellet picky... just likes the better quality cleaner pellets pellets
