    Things I liked:

Everything. If you want 1/2" groups and consistently this is the best gun for the money. Skip the break barrel and take the plunge you will save money in the long run.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Fill pressure is crucial. Filling to 2600 does yield the most consistent shot group for 30 rounds.

    Things I liked:

    Absolutely amazing rifle. Extremely accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

It needs a depinger and regulator.

    What others should know:

Gen2 rifles do come with a factory installed depinger. But it doesn't help much. It will need to be removed and a good aftermarket depinger installed.

    Things I liked:

I bought the .177 cal marauder for small game hunting and pest control on our farm, and am very pleased with the gun. I shoot 10 m competition air rifle so accuracy is a big deal for me. This gun will shoot half inch groups at 50 yards. I have taken house sparrows, pigeons, starlings and have hunted rabbits and squirrels with it. It cleanly kills house sparrows, starlings, and squirrels at 50 yards. I have not taken anything else at farther distances so far. I use a hand pump to pump it up to 3000 psi. At farther distances you do have to compensate for wind because the .177 pellet is so light. This gun is accurate enough, without any tuning, that I would not hesitate to take a pigeon at 60 yards. I have adjusted the velocity adjustment so now I would feel comfortable out to 70 yards on a pigeon. I am very particular about making clean shots so I don't shoot farther than I know the gun is accurate enough.

    Things I would have changed:

I got the synthetic stock version and the stock is very cheapy in my opinion. The forearm is not solid plastic. It is hollow with braces, therefore it is not as rigid as I would prefer. This does not really take away from the gun at all, I would just by the wood stock version if I decided to get another one. My plan is to either buy a boyds stock or make a custom stock down the road.

    What others should know:

If you do ever want to tune you marauder, make sure you record the factory settings. Because if you torque the set screw to much it will turn the velocity screw in farther. I have not done any other tuning on the gun other than turn the velocity a little down.

    Things I liked:

My new marauder, what can I say. I am a perfectionist and I demand pure accuracy. I’m big into archery and I do not like anything to hit where I’m not aiming. This thing puts holes in holes and is extremely accurate. This rifle is about as close as you can get to a laser beam with its accuracy. I bought the .25 synrod and it is very quiet. It is much quieter than my both gamo swarm and silent cat. Neither of my two gamos are very loud either. This thing has been very backyard friendly for me. This was my first PCP and I use a hand pump. Pumping it up is not that bad if you are any kind of shape, I’m getting old and I’m about 175lbs, and it hasn’t been an issue for me. Don’t get me wrong, it is some work but it’s very feasible and who doesn’t need the exercise. Overall this has been one of the the best purchases that I’ve made in a while. It puts a smile on my face every time I shoot this gun because it just does not miss. I have no experience with the very high dollar PCP offerings but I just can’t see how you can get any better than shooting holes in holes as you can with this marauder.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the print of the instructions that come with it larger. I needed to by a scope just to read them.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is my be all end all. I wanted something with extreme accuracy that would actually hit exactly where I'm aiming. I bought the .25 model and I can easily shoot 3 magazines (24 shots) through the exact same hole at 30 yards on one fill. I havent had the opportunity to stretch it out to further distances yet but I just ordered a high dollar scope to do so. This rifle is very quiet. I have a gamo silent cat in .177 and a gamo swarm in .22 and the marauder is much quieter than both of those and neither of those are very loud by any means. All have been suburban backyard friendly for me so far but the marauder is much quieter. This thing has laser accuracy and it just does not miss, if it does its on you.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe add some extra breech o-rings to come along with it for the just in case stuff happens moment.

    What others should know:

I absolutely love precision and quality, and this rifle has surpassed all of my needs. I shoot archery regularly and I do not get along with missing. This rifle is spectacular and does not miss.

    Things I liked:

American made, quality made, shoots as well as the 1,500.00 to 2,000.00 guns. I love them soo much that I have four of them. Gen1 in 25, Gen2 in .177,.22,.25cal. And a new p-rod. Get the patch-worm form 20/20 concepts and clean your barrels on these guns, you will find they aren't as pellet fussy as you thing. Especially the crossman pellets for shooting 25-50 yards. After 50 yards jsb, and H/N pellets are best. Get a chronograph and shoot lots of pellets for finding the perfect one. We have a berry farm. And use these rifles on a daily bases. They won't let you down. We have taken hundreds of squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, opossums with these rifles. They have enough power with good shot placement to get the job done. I use the hill mk4 pump to easily fill these rifles. It's a great pump 3000 psi no problem. I have these tuned for maximum power. They won't disappoint you!

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Put a good scope on these rifle. I'm using the vortec crossfire, and Nikon pro staff on all of them and I'm very happy with the results. Get a chronograph to test your pellets. Get a patch-worm to clean barrels. I don't clean anymore until accuracy drops off and so far it I've shot around 3000 pellets through the gen1 25cal and she is a tac driver

    Things I liked:

This was my first pcp airgun but Ive shot firearms, airguns my whole life and owned several german spring piston airguns. This marauder opened my eyes to pcp and Ive also just purchased a bulldog, and plan on many other pcp purchases as well. Anyway, the Benjamin Marauder is fantastic. The synthetic is lightweight, easy to shoulder and point but made well. Ive picked up many synthetic stocked firearms that had cheaper made stocks. This synthetic marauder stock feels solid. Not hollow, thin, or chinsy like many others. It is utilitarian but beautiful. This gun is extremely quiet. The trigger is perfect and can be adjusted easily. Its incredibly accurate and the .25 cailber Is very powerful. I love that its a repeater. I love the pressure guage on bottom, away from barrel where it belongs, not right by the end of the barrel like Ive seen on many other pcp's. The mags are good, but they could be metal. Actions ok,its finally smoothing out. Great shot count and consistency for no regulator

    Things I would have changed:

DO AWAY WITH DOVETAIL MOUNTS, Please put Picatinny mounts on top and some more mounting options on the side of the forend or below it. Just somewhere up front where I can easily add a infared illuminator or light. Yes the armada is perfect for that but its not a traditional style rifle and cost alot more. The mags are ok and load quick but I wish they were metal. The one mag that came with the gun index's perfectly, the other 2 that I bought, Are a little finicky and sometimes I have to flick the mag with my finger when shooting to get them to cycle. The centerline of the gun could be a little lower which would allow the scope to be mounted lower. The gun should come with 2-3 mags instead of 1, and a degasser tool when bought. I cant say enough about how amazing this airgun is. Its absolutley brilliant. Get one!

    What others should know:

Ive put around three thousand rounds through it and it still puts a smile on my face everytime I shoot it. This gun is soo quiet that the sound of the pellet hitting paper or your target is louder than the gun. Its extremely accurrate and when using 31 grain H and N barricudas, or Jsb 33 grain diabolo King heavy (large skirt), I can stack pellets in the same hole at 30 yards here in my backyard. When I made my purchase only wood or black synthetic was available, but Ive seen '/crosman make several synthetic camo options. My only gripe is that I wish pyramyd had the full size marauder rifle (not the pistol)in the various camo patterns. So eventually maybe Ill get around to either buying a replacement camo stock and possibly a wood one, but If your thinking about getting one, dont think or put it off anymore. Buy it now!!! Its worth every penny and pyramyd air has been really helpful and they are just the best. Friendly, knowledgeable, curteous and caring staff.

    Things I liked:

Durability of the stock. Accuracy, Accuracy, again Accuracy. This thing is amazingly accurate and pretty quiet

    Things I would have changed:

I originally purchased with wooden stock for the look but changed to the synthetic stock to help with weight. Much better to just get synthetic from the beginning. This thing with scope can become heave and cumbersome.

    What others should know:

Overall great rifle. Squirrels don't stand a chance. Can hit 8 inch targets every time from 100 yards away on calm days and a solid rest. This little air gun is pretty great. Get an air tank and an adapter and don't bother with the hand pump. Also only comes with one magazine so order a few more when your checking out.

    Things I liked:

Great shipping from pyramydair. Well packaged and no damage to box! I got the .22 cal, and just love it. Mounted a Mantis 4-12-40AO scope mounted and sighted in at 25 yards using crossman premier hollow points 14.3 gr pellets. It took only 10 pellets for site in. The went out to 35 yards shot a shoot group of 5 and got 1/2 inch shot group. Then to 50 yards did a one dot hold over and got the same results. Totally satisfied with results and factory settings of the gun. The gun is almost silent. I shot a total of 20 pellets with 2400 psi left in the tank. I use the hill mk4 pump to pump to 3000 psi with no problems. I'm only 135 pounds it is very easy to do! The trigger was smooth to operate with no adjustments needed! I also have the gamo urban which is a great gun and is even more quiet the maurader and the bolt is much smoother to use, but the Maurader isn't broken in yet! I also have the maurader.25 first gen which is a great gun for long shots. No need to spend more!

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing as far as I'm concerned! I own a blue berry farm and I have a pest problem. I've taken out over 100 tree rats and rabbits than I can count. It's hard to have enough 25 cal pellets on hand at one time so I got the 22 cal for the easy of going to Walmart to buy pellets. I use the guns daily on the farm so that was a big factor for me. The synthetic stock is lighter than the wooden stock on the 25 m-rod. You could spend more on better guns, but the two M-Rods and the Gamo urban work well for pest control on the farm.

    What others should know:

These guns are not toys. They are very powerful. Always know your back stop! Practice using the safety between shots. The 22 cal gamo urban will do through and through head shoots on tree rats at 50 yards! The M-Rod in .25 almost takes squirrels and rabbits heads off at 75 and 100 yards, meaning that pellet is still traveling fast enough to be found in the the canes of the blueberry bushes that I find later when pruning! Benjamine hit it on the nail with the maurader! Pyramydair will be my only airgun supplier for life. You guys are the best! And a great thank you from the Kenerson Berry Farm! These airguns are a necessary tool for us on the farm!

    Things I liked:

The weight... compared to the wooden stock .25 cal, the synthetic stock is much lighter and easier to handle.

    Things I would have changed:

I would make the bolt action a little smoother... it's not bad, but i think it could be smoother... i would be happy if they gave it the same bolt action as the bulldog.

    What others should know:

likes JSB exact king heavy Pellets, Benjamin pellets and Crosman pellets. this rifle is a joy to shoot... takes rabbits, birds, squirrels with no issues. farthest I've shot is 50 yards.

    Things I liked:

Lots of 'Smack' in .25. For punching pests it's great if you only plan to shoot a dozen shots. If all you are rating is bang for the buck it's still really a great value. Not noisy. Not terribly quiet, but better than I had expected. Very tolerable. You won't be able to hide the sound of that pellet meeting something hard, though.

    Things I would have changed:

Stock is ugly. That's the single factor that caused me to wait so long to buy it. It is really ugly. Trigger needs improvement. It isn't well shaped, sharp edges, excessively long 1st stage, the let-off is not particularly crisp, and it's too heavy out of the box. My P-Rod's trigger is better. I don't like the safety in the trigger guard, but I'm glad it has one. It's an Air pig. It really needs a regulator and I hear the new model will have one. Wait for it and pay the extra. Don't buy this in .25 if you don't have a compressor or live next to the dive shop.

    What others should know:

Overall, I can't understand the ratings on this gun being so high. One would think it is comparable to the European guns by just looking at the ratings. It's not! I would expect to have little to quibble about with these numbers. Try an Air Arms, FX, Daystate or ..... I know they aren't price comparable. But looking at the rating would indicate they are the same quality. Truth is, you get more quality when you pay for it. This gun is a nice blunt instrument. Better than many other blunt instruments, but not a great gun like some of the Europeans, which have nearly the same ratings. Benjamin pellets (every one, not just some) corkscrew but are fine at 30 yards on pests. JSB Heavy are most stable and accurate at 80 yards so far but long range trajectory suffers from the weight. Videos are one thing, but seeing and hearing these pellets smash into things is really something to behold. I'm glad I bought the Air Venturi compressor. Never needed it with my other PCP's. Used scuba tanks

This rifle is awesome. It is the best shooting rifle I have ever fired. I mounted a CenterPoint 6x20x50mm scope on it and had it zeroed in 7 shots. It will put pellets in the same hole repetitively at 50 feet, and likely 50 yards as well but haven't been able to try it due to adverse weather. The trigger is 2 lb. pull right out of the box with very little take up and a crisp, with no drag or creep, break. I let a friend shoot it and he said he wasn't going to give it back. I can't say enough about this rifle. Being a .25 cal. it hits like a truck. Due to weather conditions I haven't had a chance to zero it at 100 yards but should be able to soon. All in all I cannot say enough good about this awesome rifle. It is everything all the reviews say about it and more.

    Things I liked:

I have only shot out to around 40 yards but the accuracy is excellent. I have not done any "tuning" as I am getting over 40 shots from 3k to 2,500psi. Maybe later. I started with a break barrel springer and got mad that I couldn't master it. This PCP was a dream from first shot. I was thinking about waiting for the Umarex Gauntlet but it is new and the Marauder is well tested and has undergone revisions. I think it is a great deal for the money! Thanks to Pyramyd Air for the discount - it clinched the deal for me.

    Things I would have changed:

I bought an extra magazine and it is a little sticky, which can cause you to double load. You have to watch for that.

    What others should know:

I love the look and feel of wood and my Hatsan 95 is beautiful. I scratched it the first day and have since put several bad gouges in it from accidents. The synthetic stock on this Marauder seems indestructible and I am not afraid to use it aggressively. This is a shooter - and a damn good one!

    Things I liked:

I got the synthetic .25, and its amazing. The synthetic stock for example is solid and not like the other hollow pieces of garbage that feel like a toy. I cant count how many airguns with sythetic stocks that i had to remove the buttpad and fill with foam or balled newspaper jammed tight to stop the vibration and hollow sound when fired and held. Not this one, it feels solid and i love the adjustable cheekpiece. This gun is extremely accurate and has alot of power. At 30 yards, its same hole to cloverleaf with me shooting off a table and rolled up blanket. At 60 yards, a little hold over but still extremely accurate .

    Things I would have changed:

The gun should come with more then one mag, and it should come with degassing tool. For $530 , Im sure crossman could afford to include those. The gun came in a box packed in another box and then put into a shipping box but it lacked packing and the gun box from mf. Had only 3 pieces of foam. There was a small nick/scratch on the breech and i wasnt happy about that. The biggest complaint i have is the ability to chamber 2 rounds if your not careful. Now that I understand it, it doesnt happen but I believe something should be changed about that.

    What others should know:

Get a decent scope, try different pellets or bullets meant for airguns. I have the .25 and the H and N barricuda 31 grains work great for me. I cant wait to try the heavy offerings that are available through a few reloading suppliers online.

I found this gun to really be ideal. I shoot JSB Exacts in 26grain and have no problem pumping this gun with the hand pump. I'm getting about 3 clips (.25 CAL with 8 shoots a clip) and out to 35 yards I'm driving tacks. This thing is awesome for backyard plinking as it is very quiet and the squirrels, which were pretty prolific, are now a rarity. I'm looking seriously at an FX gun but this has become my favorite to pickup and blast away. I'm very happy!

I use it to hunt Armodillos in Florida, the 25 does the job. Still experimenting with ammo the Benjamin .25 in 27.8gr and the H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme 28.40gr work very well. I use shooting sticks because the target moves and I am 72 so I need a little help. The neighbors call when they spot one in there yard. Very quit, back yard friendly.
